Forgetting the Ex
Chapter 74 - Confession

"Who is he, Pa?"

"German!" Hendi answered.

"No way," Judis threw away his face in disbelief.

"Why have you been keeping it a secret to me all this time?"

"Your mother asked for it" he replied. "Your mom can explain everything, what's the reason she did it" he continued.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"Where are we going, Pa?" linda asked as Judis's car entered the luxury hotel.

"Meet Papa's friend."

"Papa's friend must be a rich man" Linda guessed.

"Yes, very rich." Hendi tried to smile.

Judis and Hendi were as ordinary as nothing had happened.

Arriving there, the three of them waited in a specially ordered room.

"Where's Papa's friend? Why does it seem like in this room there's only us?" linda Cecar.

"Patience, Ma."

Before long, Arman and his family arrived.

"Why are they here, Pa?" whispered Linda.

Radit and Saskia smiled greeting them. Linda was ready to stand up but her hand was held by Hendi.

"Pa, you don't want to see them?" whisper in her husband's ear.

"Calm down" replied Hendi.

Judis stood up and scooped up the fresh body in his arms. "Dad!"

All eyes stared in wonder including Arman. His hand stroked the shoulder of his son whom he had been looking for. "I'm sorry, Dad!" her tears are dripping.

Saskia hugged her husband, she smiled happily. Eyes glazed.

Linda stared in annoyance, she tried to hold back.

Arman invited his son to sit down, he looked at his ex-wife who always threw her face away.

"Already, right? Come on, let's go home!" take Linda.

"Wait, Ma." Hold Yudistira.

"If you don't want to go home, let it be Mama!" Linda stood up.

Hendi held Linda's hand back to keep her from leaving. "Sit down!"

Linda could no longer say anything.

"Everyone has gathered, please give your explanation!" Hendi.

"Pa, there's nothing to explain!" said Linda. "Judis already know, too," he continued.

"Ma, relax!" Hendi rubbed the back of his wife's hand.

"Leave us three!" pinta Judis's.

"All right," Radit said, taking his wife. Hendi stood up as well.

"Where are you going?" Linda asked me softly.

"You need to talk" he replied softly.

The three also left the room.

"Now who will explain it?" Judis looked at Arman and then turned to Linda.

"Let me just!" said Arman.

"Ciih, he's calling me dad!" Linda smiled cynically.

Flashbacks...

"Mama doesn't approve of you marrying this woman!" Her mother Arman pointed at Linda who was downcast with tears dripping down.

"Arman will still marry her" the man said firmly.

"Alright, don't expect you to get a legacy from me!"

Arman pulls Linda's hand out of her house.

"We don't have to continue this relationship. Your parents and I don't approve of our love!" Linda let go of Arman's grasp.

"You want to give up?"

Linda shook her head.

"I'm going to marry you anyway, we're going through this together!"

Linda also agreed to the wishes of her lover.

"Well, please be my marriage guardian!" please Linda.

"Mom doesn't approve of your relationship!" a woman who gave birth to Linda.

"Well, I'll be your guardian."

Mom wanted to protest but she finally relented.

The two were married religiously, as all of Arman's personal data and files were withheld by Arman's family until they could not legally marry the state.

Their marriage went well until one day it made everything fall apart. Arman left when Linda was 6 months pregnant. He reasoned because his mother was very ill, if he came to see her their relationship would be sanctioned but the reality was different.

Arman was taken abroad to stay away from Linda. A few months after leaving, Arman again came looking for his wife and prospective children because according to the confession of his family Linda will throw away her child.

It makes Arman feel more guilty let alone he also heard the news that Linda has remarried and left their city, he lost track. Linda's family also disappeared.

Flash On's...

Arman told it with teary eyes.

"Your sister didn't tell me how they treated me" Linda finally opened her voice.

"They said you'd come and throw away our son!" said Arman.

Judis heard him just rubbing his face rough.

"Yes, I hate that kid because of you!"

Arman knelt before Linda while bowed. "I'm sorry!"

"Dad, wakeup!" Judis pulled the body to stand.

"They hate me and my son, and they even offer me some money not to bother with your life anymore, but I refuse" Linda opened her voice. "When I was down and hated my baby-to-be so much, my parents set me up with Hendi. The man with one daughter" Linda paused for a moment. "I accepted it and he also encouraged me to accept your son, we were married at the age of Judis 3 months!" Linda.

"Mama!" said Yudis lirih.

"I'm sorry, because of me you're suffering!" said Arman.

"You're making me suffer!" Linda raised her voice. "Now, why else come? I'm happy with my family and my son!" his tan unravelled tears.

"I want to make sure you and our son are okay" he replied.

"I'm fine, get out of our lives!" linda said with tears.

Judis hugged Linda who was sitting limp. "I'm sorry Mama, for hating your father. I'm venting on you."

"Mama!" hug Judis tightly.

"Mama's coming home!" pinta Linda's.

"Yes, we're home!" Judis led Linda out of the room.

"Linda!" call Arman lirih.

"Let Mama calm down, Dad!" pinta Judis's.

Arman.

Hendi saw Judis leading his wife, approaching him.

"Mama's coming home, Pa!" yudis.

Saskia and Radit stared in surprise.

"Come, we're home!" answer Hendi stammered.

On the way home, Linda unceasingly wiped away her tears. Judis could see the grief of her mother from the rearview mirror in the car.

When Linda calmed down. Judis ventured to speak with her mother four eyes.

"I'm sorry Mama!" lirih.

"Judis has forgiven you" he replied gently.

"You have to endure all the hatred Mama has for your father and my parents" he said, staring at his son.

"Ma!" he knelt and held Linda's hands.

"Because your marriage with Sabrina failed, forcing Stella to marry the son of a rich man who can silence the mouths of those who insult Mama, it turns out that way is wrong. You're suffering because of me" Linda said. "Mama always asked you to obey our will, Mama who always loved Yana rather than you who are my biological child," he continued crying again.

"It all happened, Mama admitted. It all makes me feel relieved. I knew who my father was and I promised to love Papa who took care of me and received me well" Judis promised.

Hendi who had heard the chatter of the mother and child made his eyes glaze over and approached him.

"Thank you, son!" hendi said he made both of them look.

"Papa" made Judis stand up.

Hendi hugged Judis' body tightly. "You are my son too!"
