Forgetting the Ex
Chapter 20

"Is he the reason you made us part?"

"But Judis!" Sabrina quickly turned her head towards the voice.

"What right?"

"No, Mas!"

"I see you're getting closer, which means you've been having an affair!" judis said slowly but painfully.

"I'm not like that!" sabrina replied firmly then chose to leave her ex-husband.

Judis wanted to pursue his ex-wife but they were crowded around, only to be ashamed if they argued in public.

Meanwhile, Arvan searches for Sabrina's whereabouts. He contacted her after getting an answer from her call, and she immediately walked towards the car.

"I'm looking for you." Arvan stopped seeing Sabrina's eyes red.

"Sorry, Mas. Didn't tell you I was here" he explained.

"You crying?"

"No, Mas!"

"Then why are your eyes red and watery?"

"It's due to the dust" Sabrina replied lying.

"Try to be honest. What's going on?" ask Arvan.

"It's okay, Mum."

"Don't worry me, Sabrina." Gentle Arvan speech.

"I'm fine, we better go home." Bring along.

"Well, I hope you're okay." Arvan said again.

*

"Here you are, we're looking for you to and fro." Theo.

Without answering, Judis reversed course and ran towards the house.

"Hey, why him?" ask Miko to Theo.

"Come," he answered. "Let him do it, let's get breakfast" he asked.

"Alright," said Miko.

Arriving at home, Judis sat down and lifted a pot of water on the table and poured the contents into a glass. He drank it without waste. He rubbed his face rough.

"Aarrghhhhh.I thought you and him had nothing to do with it. All this time what Mom said was right. Why are you doing that?" his inner.

He rubbed rough his dripping tears. All this time he tried to get back.

"I still love you, Sabrina!" lirih.

*

"You're the same, Mom. Don't believe me, you say you still love me but accuse me instead" she said, wiping away her tears. Sabrina poured out all her grief, arriving at the cost. He told Arvan to go home because today he wanted to be alone.

"Why do I have to see him again and again?" he muttered while twitching his temple.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Because it's Sunday and still a holiday. Judis went alone to the clothing store. He deliberately wanted to meet his ex-wife.

Arriving there, he began to search for the whereabouts of the woman. He circled the shop long enough. Finally, he asked an employee.

"Do you know him?" Judis showed me a photo on her phone.

"She's the Holy Mother, our manager."

"Holy?" his inner.

"Hmm, what time is he coming?"

"I don't know, sir. He came erratically, this hour is usually already here with Mr. Arvan," replied one of the store employees.

"Arvan ready?"

"He's the owner of this store, I don't know their relationship. But the two are very close" he replied.

"Oh, so. Thank you, yes!" judis then left the store.

As Judis's car came out of the parking lot, Arvan and Sabrina's vehicle entered. The man had seen his ex go down at the same time through the rearview mirror.

Judis turned his car around and went down and called the name of the former.

"Sabrina!" call him.

Judis approached Sabrina.

"What do you want?" whispered Arvan to Sabrina.

"I don't know either" he said.

"I have to be with you" said Judis.

"We don't have any relationship anymore, so there's nothing to talk about" Sabrina explained.

"Please give me some time" Judis asked.

Sabrina looked at Arvan, the man nodded in permission. Then he looked back at Judis. "All right, I'll give you time to talk. We'll just talk at the cafe next door!"

Judis agreed, they both walked to the cafe which happened to be next to the store.

"I don't have much time, Mom. Say quickly?"

"Why is that in a hurry?"

"Mas, I have to work."

"All right, I'll say. We haven't talked like this in a long time?"

"Don't mince words, now what do you want to say." Sabrina.

"Are you and Arvan right?"

"We're just close because of work, Mas."

"Good."

"Mas, just wanted to ask that!"

"Not really, I miss you." Judis held the hand of the woman before him. Sabrina immediately pulled out her hand.

"Mas, we're not husband and wife anymore. So, please remember the limits." Sabrina.

"Sorry, Sabrina. I asked if you still have that feeling for me?"

Sabrina smiled at his smile. "Why are you asking now? Where have you been all this time?" insinuations.

"I want us to be like we used to be" said Judis.

"No, Mas. I can't." Decline Sabrina.

"Why? Have you found my replacement?" ask Judis.

"Not yet or not it's none of your business, Mom!"

"That means you still hope we come back" said Judis confidently.

Sabrina pulled the corner of her lips and stared at the cynical ex.

"I have to get back to work, Mom!" said Sabrina while sucking her orange juice.

"Sabrina, give me one more chance!" begingly.

The woman got up from her chair, "There's nothing to discuss anymore and talk about. Live each other's lives, Mas. You deserve to be happy as well as me!" sabrina was firm. He left Judis still silent.

Sabrina sped her way back to work, she saw Arvan looking at her from the second floor glass just so happened to be face to face with the cafe next to the shop.

"Have you finished your business?" arvan asked as Sabrina climbed to the second floor of her workplace.

"Already, Mom!"

"What else does she want with you?"

"Nothing" replied Sabrina.

"If it's not there, how did he get to this town and know you work here?" cecar Arvan's.

Sabrina looked at the man in front of her, "Your question is like a jealous person?"

Arvan pulls Sabrina's arm until their eyes meet each other.

"Don't try to see him again!" said firmly.

"Mas, you're not my husband or my lover!" Sabrina tried to push Arvan's body.

Arvan let go of his grasp, "But you are my responsibility while here!"

"Mas, I'm an adult and can be alone. Don't think of me like a kid who's new to the outside world!" sabrina was upset.

"All right, then. I will not interfere in your affairs and from today you are free to go anywhere without my permission" Arvan left Sabrina alone in her special room.

Sabrina sat down, her heart completely muddled. She covered her face and cried. He immediately wiped his tears, he did not want his employees to be suspicious and misunderstood.

The woman took a deep breath, she improved her body position. "I have to be strong, not to be weak just a man" he said steadily.
