Episode 19 - The real enemy

The two men are now relaxing by watching a television broadcast at home. There is also popcorn fizzy drink on the table. While Yuri wore a shirt belonging to Rang which is quite large in his body. Rang occasionally turned his head towards the woman.

"You angry? I brought you here?"

Yuri was still daydreaming, she recalled the incident she had seen from the magic glasses back then.

"I clearly see that his life is not as beautiful as Rang said. He died in a horrible way, but before that happened, I saw something he was drinking so he became out of control and acted like a madman. But what is it? If it's my old soul, it's really sad for his fate." Yuri's inner with a flat gaze forward, he paid no heed to Rang's earlier remark.

"Yuri!" Finally Rang managed to disperse his daydream.

Yuri smiled faintly towards Rang, "sorry I was thinking about Byul at home."

"You want to go home? Shall I deliver?" Rang looked at Yuri, his gaze sincerely at the woman. Yuri was also very understanding, it must be difficult for Rang to accept the two women nearby. Nara with her lover's face and Yuri with her fox gem. However, Yuri wants to be able to make Rang fall in love with her now. He hoped that it would no longer make him worry about his feelings.

Yuri shook her head, "no I don't think she'll be okay."

"Ck, your face doesn't look calm." Rang crossed his legs while grabbing the tv remote.

"Are we just going to watch tv?" Yuri raised the corner of her eyebrow.

"You want another one?" Rang grinned mischievously.

"Oh forget it, I want to eat. Are there any groceries in the kitchen?"

"There is, but the domination of the flesh. You know I like meat so much, you're not afraid of me even I can eat you argh." Rang growled like a tiger. Making Yuri squint her eyes in astonishment then shake her head.

"That's not scary at all," Yuri replied as she passed towards the kitchen.

Rang just laughed a little, then changed the television channel.

Yuri was looking for groceries in the kitchen she brought two pieces of meat of the same size. He would cook a steak for both of them. But his mind still wanders on the past life he saw. There, he did see a huge fire around him. But, he had not found an answer to all of that.

The glasses only show the events with a glance. So that makes it unable to digest what happened a long time ago. Actually, if he wanted he could ask Rang. However, after seeing Rang lie and hide it, he was sure that there was something big behind it.

After almost 30 minutes waiting for the meat to ripen, he was finally able to immediately bring the food to Rang. The man who was still seriously watching the broadcast of his favorite sport was now looking at him with a big smile.

"Thank you, I'm so spoiled." Rang grabbed one plate of his and Yuri sat down beside the man.

"Why are you so quiet? Unusually," Rang cut out little by little his food.

"Is this okay?" Yuri stared at Rang for a long time.

"You mean?"

"Our relationship, won't it be a problem for you even for me?" Yuri just stared at her food flat.

"Sure this will be a big problem," Rang still looks indifferent about the big problem he said earlier.

"Rang," Yuri said stalled.

"Why? Are you afraid to take risks?" Rang turned his head towards the woman while chewing his food.

"You know, I have a bad feeling about this relationship."

"There are many things we can't avoid Yuri, even if I stay away from you or you stay away from me. We'll stay together." Rang looked at Yuri for a long time.

"Why is that?"

"Because it's our destiny, it's just that there are some things we can change ourselves. I decided to continue this relationship whatever the obstacles ahead later." Rang smiled sweetly, Yuri was still overcome with fear and anxiety.

Rang touched and clasped Yuri's hand in front of him. "Don't worry, while there's me. You have nothing to fear" said Rang calmly.

"Nara? How's him? I think he likes you a lot, I can't make him know this connection. I'm gonna feel so guilty, she looks good." Yuri started to cut the meat available on the plate slowly.

"Are you having trouble too? Seeing her look exactly like your boyfriend used to might make you trouble not to love her."

Rang was silent, he was indeed sometimes worried if faced with Nara directly. But, she also could not deny that her bride was obviously Yuri instead of Nara.

"I can see a lot of anxiety and questions in your eyes. I see, it's hard for you and I won't force it. But one thing is certain, in this life I will protect you. Even I don't care if my body is torn apart as long as it protects you I'm fine." Rang's eyes glazed over him regretting how he couldn't do anything to see his lover once die without being protected by him.

"Don't talk shit!" Yuri looked at Rang sharply.

"Why? You look moody so I need to calm you down!" sahut Rang with a frown on the forehead.

"That's not what I want." Yuri grunted softly.

Both of them ate their flesh greedily to the point that they were gone without any more chatter. Afterwards, they watch the series on television and Yuri falls asleep first. Rang left the place to pick up a blanket for Yuri.

He went out of the house with his sword. Rang's eyes shone brightly, the man immediately chased after his quarry quickly.

"Tell me what you know!" he shouted at the man in front of him. Sword Rang gleamed with the tip on the man's vein section.

"I-I can only say that I asked someone to follow your lover."

"Someone?"

"Yes, that person is your enemy and he will avenge all you did before him." the man turned to look at Rang, his eyes turning jet-black with a terrible grin.

Rang stood up leisurely then let out a long sigh and flicked his sword quickly.

Sreet..

Black blood flowed from the body of the man who was now sprawled into a corpse before him.

"He's spreading a plague" Rang realized, the man was on a mission when he saw a speck on the back of his neck.

There are strange red spots that are terrible. He quickly returned home, checking Yuri who had previously met the man after he went to work.

Thankfully, the woman did not appear to have contracted the disease. Rang looked closely at Yuri. If the woman was in danger because of her again, she would absolutely not forgive anyone who attacked her. Even if it was his own father or brother.

"Yon, thank you for your help."

"No problem" he answered.

"Thanks to your hatred for your sister, you brought my master back to life."

"I'm so impressed, the progress is so fast." Yon grinned.

"What are your plans after this?" continued.

"We've spread the plague to parts of the area." The man replied with a smile.

"An outbreak?" Yon raised the corner of his eyebrow.

"The plague will be in the news this morning haha" he said with a loud laugh.
