Episode 7 - A curse to him

Rang stood staring at the outside view through the glass wall in his room. The man took a long breath. Not long after, a knock on the door sounded.

Apparently Nara, with some files to sign Rang. For Rang, it is very difficult not to fall in love with Nara, she has the same face and posture as her lover once did.

"Sir Rang is okay?" in fact, Nara's gentleness seemed to decline from Aura.

Rang was still staring at the girl, he almost shed tears as the woman approached towards him. He looked as if Aura was the one who came to see him.

"You crying?" now that Nara was right in front of Rang, the woman stared fixedly at Rang's teary eyes.

When Rang realized what he was doing, he immediately turned his face away and wiped away a drop of his tears.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"It's okay sir, this is a file that Mr. Rang must sign. Also, in about an hour we have a meeting with the finance department."

Rang nodded, "thank you" he replied.

"Sama-sama," Nara turned around and was about to leave the room, but Rang's hand then held her wrist.

With bewildered eyes, Nara stared at Rang's hand that was tightly holding her wrist.

Rang is again hit by flashbacks of his past with his first lover. He misses that girl very much.

"Sir Rang, you better rest. I'll prepare some hot tea for you."

Rang shook his head, "i'm fine."

"But allow me to be like this for a few minutes."

Rang grabbed Nara's hand and then pinned his finger on the girl's hand. With Rang's treatment like that it is very difficult also for Nara not to fall in love with him.

Before long, someone opened the door of the room quickly.

"Sir Rang!" a woman who looks bored.

Rang immediately released his finger pin on Nara, and turned towards the girl on the doorstep sharply.

"Sorry, you were the one at the time, right? But, please don't go into Rang's room carelessly!"

Nara approached the girl quickly.

"Hi, I'm Yuri. Assistant Mr. Rang."

Rang only glared sharply at Yuri. While Nara looked at Rang confusedly.

"There's something I have to say, Mr. Suho.. He passed out and is now in the hospital."

Rang's eyes were rounded, he immediately approached towards Yuri and Nara.

"Nara, please cancel all my schedules today." Rang grasped Yuri's wrist then pulled her out and walked along.

Nara was just stunned by the sight, even Rang did not care about his feelings after what he had done earlier.

"You're serious?" Ask Rang to Yuri.

Yuri just nodded, the two of them entered the elevator. Rang was still unaware that he was tightly grasping Yuri's hand.

Yuri stared flat at the clenched hand. Upon regaining consciousness, Rang immediately let go of his hand and attempted to behave normally.

"What were you doing with your secretary?"

Rang looked at Yuri sharply, "how dare you ask such a privacy thing!" said Rang while loosening his tie.

"I'm sorry, I'm just curious." Yuri grinned thinly.

Then the aides of Rang who had prepared a car for him first, greeted them both.

Rang immediately got into the car as well as Yuri.

"You can call me, instead of coming to the office and coming in without knocking on the door!"

"You know, I'm just the two of you at home with Mr. Suho especially, I don't have your mobile number." Yuri closed her mouth.

Rang let out a long sigh, "give me your phone."

Yuri immediately pulled out the phone from her small bag. Then, hand it over directly to Rang.

While driving Rang enter his mobile number and call himself.

"Well, thank you Mr. Rang." Yuri re-entered her phone.

Rang nodded.

They both arrived at the hospital shortly. There Suho looked limp and also pale.

"The family of Mr Suho?" said a doctor.

Rang quickly approached the doctor and entered his room.

"Good afternoon Mr. Rang, nice to meet you" his doctor said as he shook Rang's hand.

"Siang, how's my uncle doing?"

"The condition is really worrisome, I don't think Mr. Suho said that he has had hypertension for a long time."

Rang was stunned, he was not ready to lose the man.

"Because of that very high blood pressure, most likely the brain blood vessels of Mr. Suho broke. So we have to do surgery immediately, for now his condition is almost arguably critical because part of his body has experienced numbness."

Rang was still stunned, his heart breaking upon hearing that statement. Already the umpteenth time Rang witnessed the death of his loved ones.

But, he hoped not for Suho. Suho was the reincarnation of his little dog in the past. At that time, his dog burned to the ground due to a forest fire.

And, he could not watch his death anymore.

"Yuri," said Suho softly.

"Yes sir?" Yuri leaned her body to hear Suho's words clearly.

"Please, take good care of Mr. Rang. When I leave, I'm sure he won't be okay."

"Sir, don't say that. You have to be sure you're gonna get well." Yuri tried to encourage Suho.

"I trust you, somehow I felt good to see you when we first met. You can bring a big change for Mr. Rang. So, please take care of him."

Rang who heard the conversation of Yuri and Suho outside the door, could not help but cry. He left the two of them and walked back towards the basement.

There Rang kicked the tire of his car hard, he shed tears because he was upset.

"It's a curse to me! Life is a curse!" He said kicking his car again.

"Sir Rang stop!" Yuri runs to stop Rang from brutally hurting himself.

"Take me off! Go!" said Rang staring intently at Yuri.

"You shouldn't have done this! You're supposed to meet Mr. Suho and encourage him."

"For what? Man is short-lived, though I encourage him nothing will change." Rang furrowed his brows.

Plakk

Yuri slapped Rang rather hard.

"You!"

"Conscious! I probably won't be as obedient as Suho to you, I won't be afraid of you Rang! Even if you twist my hand but, if you're wrong I won't hesitate to slap you like that again."

Hearing Yuri's words, Rang fell silent and started to calm himself down. His cheeks still felt very hot, but that was okay for Rang.

For the first time, he was obedient to someone. And that person is Yuri.

Now, Rang had started to calm down.

"I'm sorry, let's see Mr. Suho first." Yuri approached Rang and invited him to meet Suho.

The man sauntered away first, followed by Yuri behind him.

Yuri sighed, she felt regret for slapping Rang so hard. But he also felt lucky that Rang did not return the slap.

Arriving in the room, all the doctors and nurses gathered around Suho.

"Pak please wait outside, the patient's condition has dropped dramatically" said a nurse to Rang who was about to enter.
