Episode 24 - Plague

Rang parked his car quickly, then entered his company building. He greeted some of the people there, then immediately walked towards the study. There looks Nara who is ready to welcome Rang warmly. However, Rang's gaze now felt cold in Nara's eyes.

"There's something I need to talk about!" Rang breezed past Nara and the woman followed him from behind.

"Why baby?"

"Darling?" Rang frowned. "What do you mean about our engagement that's spread across the media?"

Nara opened her mouth slightly. "Didn't you agree with our engagement yesterday? You don't remember, yesterday afternoon you asked me to be your lover and the night you wanted our engagement announced in the media."

Rang's eyes were round, his hands clenched together while turning round. "Aish shit, this must be Yon."

There's nothing Rang can do right now other than say yes to Nara. If not, the woman will be suspicious. "Sorry, I forgot. You're right, I'm sorry."

Nara lowered her head, her lips pursed. "It's okay."

Not long after, Rang's phone rang. It was a call from Kimi's mom.

"Hello.. Rang it's me Yuri, Byul's sick."

"ill? I'll be there soon!" answer Rang quickly.

After closing the call, Rang looked at Nara who was looking at him in confusion. "I go first, you take care of all the office work."

"Where are you going?" Nara stared at Rang for a long time.

"I have to go somewhere" replied Rang.

Nara immediately held Rang to leave, she gripped Rang's hand.

"Where? I should know!"

"Nara, let me go!" Rang let out a long sigh, he couldn't be rude to Nara. But he also has to leave immediately.

"I'm your fiancee, if you act like this I feel really sad. What if people find out that you're trying to get me?" Nara looks sad.

"Nara I didn't mean to look at you," Rang was frustrated by the many problems he was facing.

"But it's an emergency, I have to leave immediately." Rang grunted softly.

The sound of knocking on the door was heard from the outside of the room. "Lake in!" said Rang.

"Excuse me, Miss Nara and Mr. Rang. Many of our employees are suddenly ill. Their skin was red-spotted and their stomach was enlarged like bloating. It's very rough on the first floor, sir. I've called the doctor, but it feels like the disease is spreading fast enough. Now I feel the same symptoms all over the body."

Hearing that, Rang immediately blocks Nara from the woman who feels the symptoms of the disease. He doesn't want Nara to get it. "I'll see it, you better get out and see a doctor!" pinta Rang to his employees.

"Nara, wait here. Don't go anywhere. You can get it if you come into direct contact with them. You wait until I get you out safely!" Rang touched both of Nara's shoulders, the woman nodded in understanding.

"I won't get infected!" rang replied then immediately walked out of the room.

He immediately examined his sick employees, every doctor had already dealt with them. Some were immediately rushed to the hospital, some were treated at home. Rang handed it all to the hospital to take care of his employees. While he immediately drove his car and rushed to Yuri's house. There he saw Kimi's car parked.

Arriving there, Rang immediately entered the house and saw Yuri crying. When he saw Rang enter, Yuri immediately hugged him and Rang returned the hug tightly. "Mom Kimi said I shouldn't touch Byul with my bare hands."

"Bu Kimi is right, it would be nice if Byul was treated at my house. You can accompany her there, I'm worried that you'll have to take care of her yourself." Rang released his embrace from Yuri.

Bu Kimi nodded and seemed to agree, "Pak Rang is right Yuri, you and Byul better stay there for a while."

"Well, Byul and I will be there. But please heal my brother Rang!"

Rang nodded. "We'll find out the antidote."

They all immediately took Byul to Rang's house so that he could be treated more intensively there. Rang calls a special doctor to deal with Byul, the man is not just any doctor. The doctor used to be a servant of the great mountain guard, who now lives mingling with humans and living as a doctor.

"Take care of this child as best as you can!"

"Of course, sir," he said as he turned towards Rang, then turned his head towards Yuri. "He's..."

Rang just nodded, the doctor knew that Yuri was Rang's bride. Rang then embraces Yuri and invites her out of Byul's room. Yuri's face looked very anxious. For a moment Rang realized that the cause of this outbreak must be the man he had killed a few nights ago. Rang still does not understand what the purpose of that person is to spread the plague on humans. He was sure there was someone else behind it..

"You see the news? Many people experience the same symptoms as Byul. What disease is this? And what happened?" Yuri looks scared, most likely she is afraid that she will lose Byul.

Rang pulls Yuri into his arms. "Calm down!" But Rang thought at a glance, if Byul is not there maybe he can bring Yuri to his world. His mind was evil and selfish. But his desire to be with Yuri was so much greater than anything that he felt there was little hope.

"Yon said he met you yesterday, can you explain what really happened? But I think it'd be better if we talked in my room."

Yuri nodded and they entered Rang's room which was still a mess because of the item Yuri threw at Yon. "Your sister is disguised as you, I don't know how many people were fooled but I think she met Nara too. I happened to come here because I wanted to see you, and then we met and he tried to touch me with your form."

"What's? He tried to touch you? You fucker! I should have killed him when I saw him!" Rang frowned, he felt annoyed and angry to hear that Yon was trying to touch his lover.

"He took me to this room, and then I threw him things so that your room was a mess. Fortunately, there was another man who helped me, he was an ordinary man. His name is Sean."

"Sean? Where is he now?"

"I don't know where he lives, but last night he drove me home." Yuri closed her mouth.

"Thank God, I'm sorry I'm not here to help you." Rang gently stroked Yuri's hair.

"It's okay, are you hurt? Yon said you were punished."

"Just a little bit," Rang hugged Yuri again. It felt very comfortable hugging the body of the woman he loved. Rang let go of his embrace then lowered his head to look at Yuri who was now looking up at him. Rang slowly leaned closer to the woman and softly kissed her lips.

Yuri wrapped her arms around Rang's neck and returned the man's kiss. Rang who wrapped his hands around his waist then brought the girl to his bed.
