Fox Bride

Fox Bride
Episode 4 - The Grief House

"Eun Byul, you can no longer afford to pay and take care of you. So, you're gonna leave it to aunt."

Hearing her brother's statement, Byul felt very sad. He did not want to be taken care of by anyone other than Yuri.

"Why would you care for me? Didn't my sister get a job? Brother can definitely finance me!"

Yuri shook her head and released Byul's embrace.

"So don't want to be bothered by your whining!" yuri said lying.

"But brother," Byul cried.

"Jul promised, will help you clean the house, tidying up your own clothes. But Byul beg brother, don't leave me brother." Byul was crying.

While Yuri tried hard to resist the crying that he could barely contain.

"Let's go, your brother can't take care of you. So better be with auntie, huh?"

"Take me off!" Byul releases his aunt's embrace to run hugging Yuri.

"Byul, release!" Yuri let go of her sister's embrace.

Byul stared flat at Yuri's face, tears her eyes then turned and followed her aunt away.

Yuri who was still in a state of mourning, even the mourning clothes she still wore immediately poked down and covered her face.

He cried to see his sister gone.

"I'm sorry, Brother Byul," he said softly.

"With your tears, I don't want you to go to the office with puffy eyes tomorrow." A familiar voice suddenly sounded close from his crouching position.

Yuri stopped her crying, then turned her head towards the man in the suit and the all-black shirt with black glasses hanging on her chest.

"Why are you here?" Yuri glared towards the man.

"I was driving and I saw a bad aura around here, so I checked it out. And apparently, it's from here." The man smirked.

"Do you have no heart? You lightly speak like that to a grieving person." Yuri stood up and looked at the man earlier sharply.

"Don't raise your voice, I'd hate it if my subordinates try to fight my words." The man grunted softly.

"I'm not necessarily your subordinate, so go Mr Rang!" Yuri turns around and intends to leave Rang before the hand stops him.

He put some red beans in Yuri's grasp.

"Save that, myth, if you hold that red bean you'll be spared from the evil spirit."

"Let go!" Yuri releases Rang's handle and passes away.

Rang just grinned and then left darisana.

Yuri walked towards the bathroom while passing through several grief rooms. Now that he's the only one there, he goes to the bathroom to wash his face.

However, why did he feel heavy and also his haw became so cold around him.

Yuri looked at the red beans given by Rang earlier, she stepped on the trash can then threw the beans there.

"Fuck it all!"

Just a split second away from giving Rang a hand, Yuri felt a gentle breeze quickly pass through her back body.

He blinked and washed his face quickly. Yuri grabbed her small bag and tried to get out of the funeral home.

Surprisingly, several times he had walked to the exit but he still returned to his original place, which was in front of the bathroom door.

Yuri started to look panicked because she couldn't find a way out.

He tried to find red beans in the trash cans that Rang had previously given him. But the trash is empty.

"Haha"

There was the sound of laughter of a child from the direction of another funeral room. Yuri tried to walk in search of the direction of the sound source.

However, all he found in front of the room was a photo of a small child who seemed to have died a few days ago.

As she saw the black shadow start to crawl and chase after her, Yuri was losing hope even more.

He's been cornered into the wall, there's no way. Until, the shadow began to reach his feet.

"Please.. Help!!"

Sreettt

The flashing sword swing in front of Yuri stunned him slashing the black shadow until it melted.

Yuri had seen his orange shining eyes until he finally fell and fainted from fear.

After a few hours have passed...

Yuri opened her eyes slowly, she looked at the ceiling that looked unfamiliar to her.

A man with a glass of red wine walked over to him. With his style that seemed annoying he approached towards the bed where Yuri was.

Instantly Yuri woke up and looked at the man sharply, "who are you?"

Until his vision began to clear, he saw that Rang was the one before him.

"Hey! Why am I here?" Yuri looks confused.

As he remembered, he was still in the funeral home crying over Byul's departure earlier . But why he doesn't remember how he got here.

"This is my house. Aish you're such a hassle, you passed out in the parking lot. Good thing I was on that road, otherwise you might have been abandoned there." Rang drank his red wine.

"Parking place? I don't remember going there." Yuri felt that something was odd. He felt that some part of his memory had disappeared.

"Maybe it's because you hit your head so you don't remember." Rang dodged.

"Excuse me sir, here's the drink." Suho delivered the drink into the room. The man looked at Rang full of gestures.

He knows better what happened, most likely Rang deliberately made Yuri forget the incident he just experienced. Moreover, Yuri had seen him use his strength.

"Drink, rest here until you're fully recovered." Rang is going to go from there.

"Wait!"

Rang let out a long sigh, he was a bit worried if Yuri could realize what was really going on.

"Thank you, Mr. Rang." continued Yuri, making Rang point two fingers without turning to look at him.

Indicates that it does not matter to Rang.

The man left the room that Yuri was in.

He met Suho who was now in the living room waiting for him.

"Does he you think has a fox gem?"

Rang shook his head, "no, but I knew him. We've met a few times."

"Then why did you bring him here?"

Rang himself did not even know the answer, why before that happened he felt he had to go to the funeral home.

However, when he realized there was Yuri there. Rang believes that his instincts know that there will be danger to the woman.

But, he himself did not understand why his instincts were directing him towards Yuri.

"I just felt a dangerous evil spirit. I didn't mean to bring her here, or anything like that. Yeah, I'm sure it's all because of that spirit." Rang tried hard to convince himself that it was all because of the evil spirits that roamed.

"Well, then when will the lady be here?"

"I'm not sure yet, but it won't be long." Rang passed leaving Suho alone.

The man walked in towards his room, he heaved a sigh of relief.

But, his mind could not escape from Yuri.

"Ah Rang, what are you thinking? Obviously it was all just because of the spirit" he said as he sat on his bed.
