Chapter 22. Open the Heart

The golden opportunity must be put to good use. Just like Ethan does today. After that night got the chance, he would not waste it.

This afternoon Ethan had made a lunch appointment with Olivette. He's still staying here for a few days. Although it feels crowded when remembering her ex-husband, life still goes on.

"Bella, I'll be back a little late" Ethan said before leaving his room.

"Where are you going?"

Ethan doesn't usually eat out like this all of a sudden. He usually involves Bella. But not this time anymore.

"Meet Mrs Olivette. Wh why? Do you want to come?"

"Ah, no, Sir. I won't bother a phenomenal couple" Bella joked.

"You mean?"

"The bottom line is, I don't want to bother premium widows and widows."

"Premium?"

"Ah, forget it, sir! I was just kidding, ", Bella explained.

Ethan calls the waiter then picks up some food and drinks. Olivette did the same.

"The order is one, '" Ethan messages before the waiter leaves their table.

After the waiter leaves, Ethan again tries to steal a glance at Olivette. To Ethan, it seems that woman has become opium.

"If there's a guy who doesn't want you back, how about it?"

"I mean stay here. That so?"

Ethan nodded.

"Depends, Sir. Who's the guy? If it's just to stop by and play with feelings, what for?"

Olivette made Ethan's heart beat uncontrollably. It was not that ordinary men were toying with women, but this time it was as if he was being played with

"Do I have to qualify?" ask Olivette.

"Sure!"

"Married me!"

"You must be kidding me, sir. I assume it's just a daytime joke so I can smile and forget that dark story, right?"

"When are you back? I mean, when did you get home?" ask Ethan. From here, he could decide to continue chasing after Olivette or just let her go.

"Tomorrow. Last flight because I wanted to get there at night."

"Goodoo. I'll be on that flight. Give me the destination address so I can book a plane ticket today."

Olivette widened her eyes. He thinks Ethan's gonna give up. Apparently he's wrong. The more Olivette dodges, the more Ethan goes after her.

"That's not necessary, sir. You may just be obsessed with me. Better forget about your desire to get serious. I do want a man in charge, but that doesn't mean it has to be this fast" protested Olivette who was getting nervous.

If Will used to be the man who could make Olivette melt. It's different with Ethan. The man was able to bewitch Olivette into a woman who was suddenly terrified of her seriousness. In fact, Ethan's intention is that Olivette is not separated from his grasp.

The goal is not to avenge the hurt his ex-wife has inflicted, but to provide the happiness of the man who has begun to fill the recesses of his heart.

As nervousness began to hit, the waiter came with some of their orders. Not only that. Whether this was intentional or not, the waiter brought a sprig of fresh red roses.

"I didn't order the roses!" olivette.

"It wasn't you who ordered it, Madam. The man in front of you ordered it for you. Please accept!" rayu Maid.

Lunch with some romantic surprises made Olivette blush. He was forced to accept the red rose because of shame on the waiter.

"Look, how do I intend to be serious to you, madam? Tomorrow night I'll go with you and ask you directly from your parents."

"Master, my parents are fierce. You'll have a hard time there."

"I'm not afraid, Madam. Especially my good intentions. They must be willing to accept a man like me. Well, let's just say I'm a premium widower."

This time Ethan's joke made Olivette smile. He can boast of himself as a premium widower.

After getting a deal, Ethan finally buys a plane ticket for the same flight. Although they were not in close seats, at least they were still in one plane.

Olivette tells her that Ethan can't go to her house. He must stay at the hotel first. When Olivette was able to convince him that there was a man who had serious intentions, Ethan was only allowed to visit his house.

"I was curious about Mr. Will's way of getting you the other day. Is it as complicated as me?" ethan asked while enjoying his lunch.

It's possible that Will is too easy to get Olivette so the man ignores his responsibilities. However, that is not what Olivette would answer. Except something different.

"That guy and the premium widower will have a different test. Let's just say the harder the exam is, the premium widower will be better able to stick to his principles and goals!"

"I think I already know the answer. Mr. Will is just one of the dumbest men willing to give up diamonds for river stones."

Olivette is reluctant to talk about her past man, but Ethan keeps reminding her of the name.
