Horses continued to run fiercely through the forest and valley which was only illuminated by the moonlight that began to dim with clouds. When passing through the last village before reaching the basecamp I asked the soldier who brought the news earlier to stop and rest, because until here he just drove.
After all, if he was exhausted all of a sudden on this long journey, he would only be a burden. It still takes one full night if at this fast pace to get to the food basecamp. If we slow down just a little bit the pace of the horse will probably arrive in a longer time.
I hope that this time's calamity has nothing to do with the magic tower that is more famous for the sacred temple of the Emerald. If indeed the sacred temple had anything to do with the calamity this time, from the second I learned of the relationship of Zed the owner of the magic tower would be my great enemy.
"Because I was in too much of a hurry to leave I did not bring many soldiers, only 6 soldiers of not too high rank could be ready to come with me. I also did not put more hope on them if only on this journey we encountered monsters and they could eradicate them.
"Stay alert! Protect the princess.." shouted the soldier behind.
"The danger!!!" shouted the soldier in front immediately stopped the pace of his horse
"Protect the princess!!! form defense..."
"Based on a goddamn monster, why should it appear at times like this..."
"Daughter!! anyhow we'll get you out of that monster..."
"Right wing!" a soldier shouted as the monster lunged towards the right
"Protect the princess. These monsters are in groups, don't let your guard down..."
"..." I couldn't say anything when I saw some monsters start attacking ferociously
All the soldiers fought with monsters that were like bears but even more bizarre in shape. This monster had four tails, and the strength of these monsters seemed to be indecisive. I as a leader have to act, but I am confused how to act.
If I were to come crashing down on the monsters, fearing it would only be a burden to them. But if I just keep quiet like this, I feel useless. My sword skills aren't that great, but I want to help.
"Daughter! get the hell out of here. We'll hold these monsters as much as we can..."
"Please leave us right now!"
"..." I'm getting smaller, when they only care about my life but not their lives
"Daughter! go quickly!!!"
"No! all of you are my responsibility." I said get off the horse and run towards those who were drunk.
"Surge! do not waste time quickly exterminate them and we continue the journey... I'm sure you all can!!"
"Daughter.." I managed to escape from the soldiers who wanted to take me away.
Maybe because of my stubborn look and their desire to protect me, until their spirit increased many times more than before. Their slashes on the monster's body quickly recovered, so it had confused us.
"How is this, they all can't die." the resigned sentence began to sound.
"Don't give up. All monsters must have weaknesses." I said trying to encourage them.
"But monsters controlled by magic have no weaknesses..."
"What if we experimented with them, didn't you all manage to injure the bodies of the monsters! but what about their eyes?"
"..." everyone nodded in understanding of what I said
Sure enough, when our focus was only on the eyes of the monsters and one of the soldiers managed to pierce the eyes of the monster. A miracle happened when suddenly the monster suddenly vanished into black smoke.
"Successful, we succeed." cried joyfully.
"Don't be happy just yet, because there are still 3 more monsters..."
"Gubrakk.." They were all applauded and fell down because they were tired.
"If you want to die, stay in your shoes!"
"..." the soldiers immediately got up again despite looking annoyed
"..." - ".Their sagging spirit seemed to be back full
"Everyone's spirit!!!" I shouted without taking part in the extermination again, I was also tired.
But I seem to have forgotten one thing! where are the horses we ride? the feeling is still there.... But where are they all???.
