Nila Confession

Two weeks have passed since my move from sleeping on a tree to sleeping in a barn next to Laila's house.

Slowly, my relationship with Nila improved. He rarely starts to slay against me. Even I judge, lately I often find her to be shy.

Usually it happens when I finish helping her carry things out of the trunk every time she comes home from college. Or help her lift other objects that look heavy.

Slowly my affection as a Papa for Nila also began to fill my heart. I realized that there was a part of me in Nila after our interactions over the past few weeks.

Like his example, Nila always rubbed his nape whenever he was about to hide something or was also feeling embarrassed. As I found out on a drizzling Wednesday afternoon.

That day, it rained almost all day in our city. My Laila was always lying on her bed.

Laila's been reluctant lately to get out of her room. I think maybe it's because the rainy weather is too cold. So innate is a bit heavy also to separate from the mattress. Like his habits when young. Haha.

Finished saying good night to my Laila, I was about to return to the warehouse room. But my eyes caught the figure of Nila who ran a little through the rain as she just got out of her car.

"Why just got home now? That night to go home, Nile?" My reproach is worrying about her.

I rushed to get a towel inside the house, and then I wiped it on his head that was perfectly wet.

Back then, time showed at half ten in the night.

"So summarize the value first. I just finished my exam last week" replied Nila who was shivering with cold.

Gently, I wipe the towel on Nila's head and face many times. Still grumbling to her.

"Can be done at home. Let you go home quickly. If you have been here, bother too. Do you want to take a shower at night like this?" Ask me again for attention.

I know very well the answer that Nila will throw later.

"Don't want to! Bathing in the night makes it arthritic again!" Seloroh Nila, with the same answer as usual.

This is not the first time Nila came home to rain nights. And he always gave me that answer, over and over again.

His answer was similar to the answer Laila I used to, who was also the laziest when told to take a shower after the rain.

'you want me to be arthritic, Yang? No need to take a shower at night! Just take some vitamins!' answer my Laila first

"Hhh. yes already. It's up to you. But remember to drink.."

My words were immediately connected by Nila.

"the vitamin! Ja. Ja. My chatty erlan..!"

"?!! Erlan.. me?"

At that time, I was rubbing Nila's face with the towel I was holding. So when I heard my name was called Nila with the "me" appendage just like that. I immediately gave Nila a strange look.

Realizing that he had mispronounced, Waja Nila immediately turned red. Like he was embarrassed. So a second later, Nila immediately snatched the towel I was holding, then ran into the house without saying anything more.

"uh? Nila why is it? Is he probably having a fever?" I was busy guessing it myself.

After that, I went back to my barn room. And that night was no longer the next day when I met Nila again.

In the next few days, the same rain continued to rain on our city. I'm starting to dislike this rain. Because my Laila's getting more and more settled in the room.

Even the habits in this room also affect my appetite. Laila started to refuse to eat. His mouth, however, was bitter.

"Then, eat oranges first, but not bitter, Yang?" I offered Laila an orange.

Unfortunately, again Laila shook her head. After rejecting the orange I put on her, Laila went back to sleep. I tried to wake her up for lunch, because it was past her mealtime.

"La.. Baby.. eat first huh? Let it heal quickly." persuade me to seduce.

"Hhhhhh.."

"Mama's getting lazy eating huh, Lan?" Ask the voice behind me.

I turned my head and looked directly at the pair of eyes that resembled the eyes of my former body. And those eyes are now in the copy in my daughter, Nila.

I don't bother with the call "Lan" who always comes out of Nila's mouth. For me the most important thing is that I have obtained permission from Nila to accompany my Laila always.

So the business of Nila calling me by name directly is also not too I dizzy right.

"Yes. Do you need to ask for appetite-boosting vitamins from a doctor?" I muttered as I looked back at Laila's face.

"Tomorrow I will buy it to Shara's doctor" said Nila.

Doctor Shara was the doctor who treated Laila at the hospital yesterday.

"Yes" I replied uninspired.

I'm being worried about my Laila's current condition. So I ignored Nila's presence near the door.

I thought Nila had gone back to her room, because I no longer heard any noise behind me.

After confirming that my Laila had fallen asleep. I hurried to raise the blanket to cover her body. Don't forget the kiss my darling pinned on Laila's forehead.

"Have a sweet dream, Yang.." whispered the lullaby from me to Laila.

When I turned around, I was surprised. Because it turns out Nila is still standing leaning against the wall in the room. He looked at me quite intensely. So I thought that I had made a mistake with him.

"Why are you, Nile? Don't be noisy. Your mom just went to bed," I reminded Nila.

Nila did not answer long enough. But the sentence that came out of his mouth later, made me shocked half to death.

"Hey, Lan! Like I'm starting to like you. So, can you like me too?" Ask Nila with a bold look.

Just contact me, I immediately glared at him right then and there.

'what did Nila say? She likes me?! Oh.. Maybe she meant, she started liking me as a good person huh??' my mind tries to calm itself.

I also tried to ascertain the direction Nila said earlier. I hope that the meaning of his speech is in line with my estimation. I hope Nila likes me not in the context of love in romantic relationships.

"You mean, you like me because I'm good, don't you, Nile? Uh! Your words surprised me, Nil. Yep. Yep. I like you too. Sure thing!"

'Because of you, my daughter is with Laila, the woman I love the most in the world!' continue my inner talking.

I gave Nila my brightest smile. But Nila did not return my smile. He turned his face in the other direction. And I think her concern now is with Laila lying still on the bed.

"It's not so, Lan... I mean, I like you, like you like it.. My mama. I mean that." said Nila in a soft voice.

"Well?!!"

I was shocked to death. Completely surprised by Nila's statement.

"Su..suka...love, you mean, Nile?!" Ask me again to make sure.

And the answer came back, in a quiet whisper that Nila shone. And I finally found the truth of his words, in two beautiful crystals belonging to Nila who now looked back at me intensely.

Yep. Nila said that she might start loving me as a man.

'Oh my God!'
