Exchange Stories

"So, that's the story, Mir.." I finished telling Amir the story of my life since I woke up in Aro's body.

Me, Amir and Mark are sitting in the TV room. And Amir didn't take his eagle eyes off my profile from the moment I started telling you earlier.

Shortly thereafter, Amir began to search me with some questions.

"When did Arline and I get married? What date?"

"Come on, Mir! You're so annoying for asking me about dates. You know for a fact that I'm having trouble remembering your wedding date. Don't date your wedding. My date of birth and Arline herself I don't remember!" Answer me origin.

Amir did not comment on my original answer. He continued to question me with the following question.

"How many cake totals were there at my wedding and Laila's?" Ask Amir back.

"Hey! That's obviously a trap question. Or you've forgotten. At your wedding, there was obviously no cake. That's your own request to Arline. You said at that time.mm.just provide a piece of cake. Do not make cakes in the form of brides. That's too ridiculous for you!" Answer me spontaneously.

The frown on Amir's forehead reduced a lot after hearing my answer. That's a good sign. I hope that Amir will soon believe my story about this transmigration of souls.

But in fact, the general returned to me with a few more questions. All of which I answered in accordance with my knowledge as Erlan first.

Finished asking a lot of questions, Amir suddenly stood up and approached where I was sitting.

Shortly after, he pulled me into a hug. And he also said,

"It's hard to believe this. Brother. But, you really are Erlan's sister whom I know! Welcome back, Brother! Sorry for not recognizing you earlier," said Amir make me touched.

I said, "it's okay, Mir. It's only natural that you didn't recognize me earlier. I didn't believe in myself at first either" I replied, chuckling.

Near us, Mark looked at me with such real shock on his handsome face.

I gave Mark my winning smile. Then he asked his uncle Amir.

"Jj.so Uncle.. He's right is..???!" Mark was unable to finish his sentence. He still looked at me with an astonished look of disbelief.

"Yes, Mark. I testify. That this man before us is your Papa whose body has long since died. Somehow, obviously this is a miracle because he managed to get back to our side again. Although he is present in a body that is much younger than it should be" Amir replied while giving me an envious look.

I smiled broadly.

"Don't look at me with such an envious look, Mir. There's nothing you need to separate from this fate of mine. Because at least, you can live longer with the people you love. You can also accompany Arline until the end of his life, right? Not like I'm the one.."

My throat's choked. This time it was my turn to finish my sentence again.

I put my eyes on the floor. Trying to calm my mind again who had time to venture into my last memories with the old Laila.

Until a pat on the shoulder resuscitated me.

"It is Brother. Anyways. I was not with Arline when the accident happened. The accident that took his life on the spot" said Amir with a sad look.

"Ehem! So.. is this really a miracle? I mean, is Brother really Papa Erlan who's been dead a long time since I was in Mama's womb?" Mark asked it was still hard to believe the reality.

Poor to see Mark in such trouble, I got up and stood right in front of him. I pat Mark on the shoulder once, before I finally say.

"You will always be my son, Mark. And your mother is the woman I love most in my short life" I said with firmness.

Mark looked at me without blinking. And all that time I gave her my best smile. Slowly, Mark stood up and hugged me.

There were no words he said as long as he hugged me. And I let him do that until I heard Mark whispering quietly near my ear.

"I'm still confused how to behave with all this news, Bang.. Papa's? Should I now call Brother with Papa's call? The taste is pretty weird..?" Said Amrk then after he took off his silent embrace.

Amir chuckles near our BBM. And I just gave him a smile.

"Well. You can still call me by brother, Mark. It feels weird if you call me Papa. Especially with my current young face." I said while pointing to my own face.

Mark chuckled slowly.

"really. It would be very strange, Bang. " said Mark with a big smile towards me.

After that, Mark gave me another hug. This time, he said in a sure tone.

"Then, just this once let Mark say. Welcome back, Pa! Mark is glad that Papa can come back to meet us in this world!" Mark said, it struck me again.

Before long, I felt a clap of Amir on my back. And I knew at that time, that my return was finally accepted openly by my family in this world.

The next morning, I deliberately took a day off to accompany Amir at home. Mark gave me permission. He even jokes.

"Should have been, Brother is free to leave at will, right? You don't have to ask me for permission anymore. This company belongs to my brother!" Go get Mark before he goes to work.

I'm not retaliating Mark's pranks. Almost during that session I was busy exchanging stories with Amir about everyone in my family who is now gone.

About the late Papa Gilberth and also Mama Ilmaya who died many years ago. Also about the life of Amir with Karina herself who remained happy even though they were not blessed by a child.

All those stories I kept hearing from Amir's mouth. Sometimes we chat in the TV room, or even on the terrace like this afternoon.

Amir was telling me about his experience training young soldiers since the departure of Arline, when my eyes accidentally caught the figure of Karina who again had a conversation with the man I saw yesterday with her. At that time, the fence of Mark's house was open a little, so I could see a flash of Karina just a moment ago.

At that moment, my attention was diverted from Amir to the two figures who had now disappeared from my sight.

Even so, my super senses caught up to the conversation of the two that I guessed were still in front of the gate of Karina's house. The little conversation had kindled a jealous fire in my mind at that moment.
