Half the Fallen Angels

Half the Fallen Angels
Episode 17: The Threat Comes In Rayyana Country

Some time passed, the three of them had just entered the lips of the valley. Now on the right and left they have cliffs that rise to the top, even though the area is quite wide.

On the right side near them, there was a small shallow trench, whose water flowed slowly into the valley. The road is increasingly inadequate for the car can go further.

"I'm not wrong, here is the Sei Roja Valley" Julian said.

The twilight sky was reddened, but in front of it a low pitch-black cloud enveloped the sky darkening the valley of Sei Roja.

"There is no road ahead, we have to go down and continue on foot" Julian added.

The car pulled over and stopped. The three of them went down and continued walking towards the valley.

"So, where can we find this guy named Zivan?" asked Devan.

"Maybe we'll know, when we start exploring in this canyon" Julian said.

"Exploring yes. At just look we already know, how vast the Valley of Sei Roja is. It seems like it will take some time, while the day gets darker" Morgan lamented.

The three of them began to walk, while throwing a glance at the entire corner of the valley that could be within reach of the eyes, sometimes stepping over some small barriers in their path.

"By the way it's dark, in front of it the sky is covered in cloudy clouds. But.... The cloud looked even lower?", Julian looked at the cloud with a frown, his fingers touching his lips.

"The cloud is low. I think from somewhere before there was no sign of rain. Looks like here's gonna be some local rain" Morgan responded.

Devan walked over while looking at the cloud closely.

"Ha?!.", Devan reacted lightly.

"You found something?", Julian asked Devan.

"The cloud is not a sign of local rain, but a phenomenon that only occurs in this valley. You remember what the three teenagers said, about the person who was struck by lightning for forcing his way into this valley. It's possible that the cloud was the cause" Devan explained.

Morgan and Julian walked over while looking at Devan for some time. They reacted as if slowly taking the story seriously. After that their views returned to the front, continuing to walk without responding to Devan's words.

The clouds were numerous and vast, going in either direction as long as they walked into the valley, they kept walking closer to the cloud.

The closer they got to the cloud it started to see occasional flashes. Then it flickered more and more often and began to emit lightning in the sky.

After the many steps they took, rumbling sounds started to sound, the longer it became clearer and then it started to slightly tremble the ground where they stood. The lightning in the sky was also growing more and more appearing simultaneously.

"DUAR!!!.", immediately a thunderous sound was heard.

"It's just my feeling, or is the cloud getting more active as we move forward?". Morgan said, the feeling of horror began to be felt by Morgan.

"I think so too. That means the cloud is indeed responding to us", Julian responded.

They had just arrived under that black cloud. Suddenly....

"DUAR!!!", the instant the flash of the sky appeared bright for a moment along with two lightning bolts striking some distance on both sides of them, and made them startled.

"It seems like a sign that we are not qualified to go deeper" Devan said, slowly hesitating.

"Eitherway. We can also assume that this is the test" Julian replied.

"'Wide and not bound by the world' is it?".", said Morgan.

"Hew.. Whatdoes thatmean?. It was kind of made up to sound memorable", Julian interjected.

"DUAR!!!", several flashes of lightning simultaneously struck the ground exactly a few meters before them, leaving behind a huge hole mark. His strike caused a momentary strong wind that hit them, instantly their steps came to a halt.

"Hey Morgan, Julian. What happens if the lightning strikes you?", asked Devan, his breath long, trying to calm down.

"We're going to be fucked. Unlike previous bullets that were physical, lightning was pure natural energy. No matter if we were astral, the lightning would have a fatal impact on both of us" Morgan explained.

"If you can be wretched, let alone me", worried Devan. "Continue?....or come back?...", Devan is increasingly hesitant.

"Decide!. It goes on or on it doesn't affect me and Morgan. From the beginning this was your journey, Devan. We were just asked to accompany you to your destination" Julian said.

Devan looked at Julian, and then he looked at Morgan. Morgan also nodded his head in assent to Julian's words.

"But..", Julian said. "Before you decide, don't forget the reason you left today, as part of the consideration for making the decision. 'Why did you go to this Valley, Devan?'."

"I went to this valley because Aslan asked", Devan replied, but suddenly Devan remembered...

("....we must be quick, not only for your sake, but also for the sake of Luna and the fairies.", said Aslan raised his tone.).

"We continue" said Devan firmly.

("Maybe I'll understand Aslan's intentions, after I meet this guy named Zivan.", Devan is fatal.)

They walked back as usual amidst the dark and hostile lightning clouds. Morgan looked at the ground around.

"There are so many former snaps" said Morgan.

"Lucky those thunderbolts aren't pointing at us", Devan responded.

"When we came three times lightning struck" Julian said.

"It's like nature has given three warnings" said Morgan.

"Huh?!", Suddenly Devan stopped and turned to Morgan.

"What?"." asked Morgan to Devan.

"DUUAAAR!!!.", as soon as some lightning struck and hit them.

One day ago in the Land of Rayyana...

"DUM!!!"

Suddenly a creature from a height landed hard to make the land of clouds vibrate. Its wings stretched large pitch black, its feathers several loosely hovering around it.

He then stood up to his body. A man with a tall and somewhat stocky posture, young stature, and has a sharp eye shape that is patterned red eyes. He wears elegant black clothes.

His hair was pitch black, with the side straight long until it touched some of his ears, and the upper middle was neatly combed back then in a pigtail tie.

"Yeah.. Little elves, " said the man in a mocking tone, he grinned with an evil smile.

His voice echoed in following with a black aura from him that spread all over the country. At that time no one had not heard his voice in that country.

After that the fairies hovered above, looking towards where the sounds and vibrations were coming from. From above, the fairies looked at the man with an ominous look.

"Hem!, the stage for myself turned out to be so easy I got.", said the haughty little man.

Soon the fairies left the man, they stayed away from where the man was and entered their homes.

"What??" said the man. His face turned to be unhappy to see the fairies ignoring him. The man just silently looked at the fairies flying away leaving him.

Now the man is alone. Suddenly, he felt someone behind him. He then turned around and found Grandpa Luna looking at him from afar. Now they look at each other.

Grandpa Luna raised her right hand forward slowly with her palm open facing upwards, then her fingers slowly clenched.

However, suddenly the man interrupted Grandpa Luna's movements. His right hand raised forward, his fingers tightly with the palm facing Grandpa Luna.

"Stop it, old man. You can't release magic in front of me."

"Hmm?".", Grandpa Luna reacted in surprise and stopped her movements.

"Look at what's on my wrist" said the man with a sinister smile.

Seeing that, Grandpa Luna's facial expression suddenly turned somewhat angry for a moment. A heart-shaped necklace tightly wrapped around the man's wrist.

"The donor belonged to the fairy queen, Artemis", said the man, his lips open and smiling widely.

This time Grandpa Luna only heard the man quietly. Not at all enticed by the man's words.

"Aren't you angry, old man?. Isn't Artemis your daughter?", said the man still trying to provoke Grandpa Luna's anger.

The man then tilted his head looking at Grandpa Luna's Direction. His palm that was parallel to Grandpa Luna also tilted, his fingers then opened, but suddenly bent as if gripping something.

"Hm?".", The man reacted in surprise. He looked puzzledly at Grandpa Luna who was motionless in her place.

"So, it is only fitting that you can break through the barrier of this country".", suddenly a woman's high tone sounded from a height.

("This voice.", said the man in his heart.). The man then turned towards the voice.

It appeared that a mature female elf was hovering high in the air, looking down at the man, without slightly facing her face down, only her pupils glanced down.

The woman had golden-yellow hair, her front sideways with bangs neatly combed to the right. His pupils were also golden yellow.

He was wearing armor with a predominance of light blue color that protected almost his entire body, except that both arms were only protected by white cloth without armor.

"Yeah!. Long time no see, Captain of the Valkyrie Fairy Troop, Aliya. Why are you not as late as before?", said the man with a mocking look.

The man saw a staff held by a fairy named Aliya, at the top of which was a crown that was bent so that it formed a triangular prism.

("The wand.".", the man was bathed.)

"hee. So you are the substitute for Artemis, then I should call you, The Fairy Queen, Aliya" the man added.

"Thou shalt...How do you know my name?", asked the fairy queen. "Oh So. You are Yudhan at that time" said Aliya with an angry look.

"I'm flattered you still remember me. But, your guess can be said to be wrong, and can also be said to be right" said the man sumringah.

"Yes, I get it. Yudhan is a false name. I did not expect a fallen angel leader to be below me, Istan Zora" said Aliya, raising her chin slightly, her eyeballs looking down at the man named Istan.

"What?", suddenly Istan's countenance became serious.

("How did he know?.", Istan said.)

"Do you ask how I know?. Doesn't it seem obvious on that stupid face?".", despise the Fairy Queen.

"You are still arrogant, Aliya" said Istan with a serious face. "But...I love that", Istan teased with a smile on her lips.

Aliya acted coldly not responding to Istan's talk. It changed the conversation.

"What did you mean by coming here?, Istan."

Istan raised his head and looked at Aliya with an evil smile.

"WAR!."
