Half the Fallen Angels

Half the Fallen Angels
Episode 22: Ireena, The Rider of the Cold Wind

Midnight at Zivan's residence…

Devan sat in a corner, between the mattress and the guardrail, with Morgan and Julian lying on the floor next to each other.

Zivan, though, is still awake. He was sitting on his feet while leaning on a pole above the guardrail some distance from the three of them. His neck looked forward, and his eyes seemed to look far away, but he was actually contemplating deep in his mind.

(....”….we may know many things what happened in front, but we will not know because ‘why it happened’, answer ‘why it happened’, only in the past we can find.”…..

….. “…..Closing your eyes in the back is like closing your eyes on the left and front. We can see, but we don't know why it happened...”.…..

…..”…..deny the past..hate the past..not accept with the past...”.....).

Suddenly, a female angel stood on her back behind the pole where Zivan was leaning.

“Still thinking of his words?.”

Zivan was silent for a while, before responding to the angel's question.

“I just didn't expect...I will hear back the sentence that was once thrown at me.”, said Zivan while closing his eyes.

Zivan went back to being silent for a moment, letting the night wind blow his front hair, then he continued to talk..

“Moreover..the sentence came from the same person... it should be.”.

A moment of silence. The female angel turned around slowly and faced her face to the pole where Zivan was leaning behind her.

“No, she's not the same, Samael.”

“Why...?.”

“Soalya..you are not angry.”, painted a thin smile slowly on the lips of the female angel.

The situation returned to silence, to the point that the whistling sound of the night wind was heard in the ears.

‘Hey...what am I...still the same as before?.”, asked Zivan.

“’The world.. changed’,,, it is, what did you tell him?.”

Zivan, who had turned his head forward, straightened his neck, looking at Devan, who was asleep in the corner of the room, while remembering the words he said to her.

(..“The world is changing, it is because the thoughts of the humans living in it are always changing and evolving. The past is not the future, we are yesterday, it is different from us today. So does the universe, and the creatures that live in it.”…)

“Means...I've been better?..”

“I didn't know...”, replied the female angel. “I only know,, if Samael is Samael.”, he added.

“I..not Samael..lagai.”.

Hearing that, the eyes of my angel woman increasingly look beautiful, but did not remove the thin smile on her lips.

“Just relax..everything..certainly will end well.”.

Suddenly, there was a thunderous sound in the distance from the lips of the valley. They both turned slowly towards the sound.

A moment later, they again straightened his neck, and continued speaking.

“Princess Artemis..Luna..”.

“DUAR!....”, suddenly the sound of lightning interrupts the sentence of the female angel, the sentence is restrained.

“I..”

‘DUAR!.”

“Hm.”, Zivan said. “Send it to me.”

The eyes of the angel of the woman sparkled at Zivan's reply.

A moment later, Zivan felt a bright light behind the pole he was leaning on slowly dimming. He realized that the angel was gone.

“’Let's just relax, everything will end well’,,, that sentence..actually it's aimed at you, right?... Sachiel..”.

Zivan momentarily returned silent, after he had spoken to himself.

“Sachiel..Sachiel.. although you are often not on my side, but you, you, are always with me.”.

That night, the short chat between the two of them with a very slow tempo ended. Even so, they seemed to be enjoying, that momentary incident.

Just a moment ago, at the entrance of the Sei Roja Valley…..

“DUM!..”, a group of fallen angels numbering dozens landed simultaneously from a height.

“What is in front of that valley in question?, from above the invisible cloud covered.”, said one of the black winged men.

“We will know after we enter it.”

“Siuuu!!..”, at the same time, a fast slitting sound passed through the side of the man who spoke earlier.

“Wait!!, Ireena.”, firmly the same man.

The female fallen angel stopped her pace. Long hair with a ponytail to the right of his head seemed to float for a moment in the wind.

“APA?, Reydan.”, High-pitched Ireena.

“You must not forget, I am the leader here.”, said the man named Reydan.

Reydan turned to face Ireena who stood behind him. Reydan who was dressed in long black robes protecting his back was staring intently at Ireena.

However, her melancholic face made her gaze not creepy. Her hair was pitch black on top, but her entire base was white to almost half the length of her hair, as well as her eyebrows and eyelashes. Black on it, but very white on the base.

Ireena then faced herself to the side and turned her head while returning Reydan's sharp gaze.

“Indeed why if you were the leader?, would stop me?.”, the wind that had been cold around Ireena earlier became colder then spread fear more to the fallen angels there.

Reydan closed his mouth and sighed as if he was unaffected and tried to look fine.

“Heuuu... do as you like.”, Reydan told Ireena.

Ireena's sharp eyes with dense eyelashes and pointed eyebrows also stopped staring at Reydan. He returned to face the front and left as quickly as the wind left his group.

The cold wind that had caused even more fear also went along with the departure of Ireena.

Reydan continued to walk in the dark of the night with his group, along the same path that Devan, Julian, and Morgan had passed.

Despite the darkness, Reydan's eyes kept looking around, the grass, the ground, the leaves, the trees, everything. His black eyeballs looked faded with white stripes in them, like scuffed black pearls. He saw it all, as if he was digging up information from them.

“How, Reydan?.”, ask one of the fallen angels standing next to him.

“Taklak, he did pass here, but... he is not alone.”, said Reydan as his eyes looked at a place where there was no one.

“Not alone?”.

“Yes, she's with two other fallen angels.”

The forehead between Rey's eyes shriveled, as if he was going to work on something. Shortly after that, he breathed.

“It's not clear, it doesn't seem like something important. But..it looks like up ahead there we will meet something unpleasant.” Reydan said as his gaze turned forward.

They all looked at the phenomenon before them. Low-looking clouds, occasionally begin to bring up bluish flashes.

Even so, the dozens of fallen angels continued walking, while the weather in front of them slowly showed ferocity. Rumbling was often heard, while occasional lightning struck the land beneath the clouds.

“Stop!”, said Reydan while stopping his steps.

They stopped just a step before Reydan was in the shade of the dark cloud. The ground trembled, the sky roared and a moment was bright because of the occasional flash of lightning.

“What's up?”.

“They three stopped.”, replied Reydan who was looking towards the front, a place where no one was there.

Some of the fallen angels also saw the direction of Reydan's view. While some others focus on seeing the phenomenon that occurs there. Some people start to hesitate to keep going.

“What was he calling ‘Aslan’?”, whispered Reydan.

“We'd better go on.”

“Wait, we do not know yet what is happening in front.”, said Reydan.

Moments later, Reydan's eyes looked wide open, he seemed surprised after seeing something happen in front of him.

Reydan also closed his eyes and held his front head, he tried hard and did not show his reaction.

“Reydan?”, said a fallen angel who stood beside him. He realizes Reydan's unusual reaction.

(“What does that mean?”, Reydan bathes while holding his front head. His eyes were still wide open when he opened his eyes.

“Obviously I saw the three of them hit by the lightning strike. but at the same time, they also managed to avoid it.”).

“DUAR!!!.”, in the distance a rumble is heard and lightning appears to strike.

“DUAR!!...”, a lightning strike was heard a few moments later.

They began to feel doubt and fear seeing the weather suddenly getting gripping. Reydan also regained his senses, lowered his hand and looked back to the front.

“Ireena..”.

***

Ireena was running fast, but not according to the number of steps. Surrounding it is a wind current that pushes it to move quickly.

Ireena jumped high, floated, then fell slowly. It can fly even without wings and move freely in the air.

“DUAR!!..”, a lightning bolt is heading towards Ireena.

Ireena just tilted her body a little and the direction of her running slightly turned so that she managed to avoid the lightning strike.

“DUAR!!!...THE DUAR!!!...DUAR!!..”

The ground that Ireena was trailing continued to rumble, the sky was also unceasingly giving rise to lightning, no matter how many times the lightning struck, Ireena who was able to ride the wind perfectly always managed to avoid it.

Even so, as great as Ireena was also unable to resist fatigue when continuously removing the magus. The speed of movement is also decreasing.

Ireena decided to just run and use the rest of her magic power just to dodge.

However, Ireena's decision was not right. Instantly above his head drove a lightning bolt towards him.

“DUAR!!” …..

Ireena who felt herself too great, made her not know her incompetence, that she was unable to predict where and when the lightning that was very fast would strike.

Ireena also got the result, he fell down, his hands jumbled to the ground, while looking to his left a little far, the hollow wasteland was hit by a lightning strike.

At that time Ireena only realized her inability, but she also felt lucky and confused, she survived the lightning strike was also not thrown due to the impact.

Shortly after, Ireena stood up again. He turned slowly looking around. The night suddenly calmed down, there was no more lightning and thunder, except for the cold wind that surrounded him.

“Hah!.”, when Ireena turned around slowly, she reacted in shock. A woman was standing looking at him with her beautiful eyes and a very thin smile on her lips.

“Sachiel...”, says Ireena. His low tone called out the angel's name.

A moment later, the cold wind that was around Ireena turned into a gentle breeze that blew.

“You saved me?. Te..thank you..”.

“No, your destiny does not end here.”

Ireena pensively momentarily heard Sachiel's reply. But a moment later he thought of something else. Ireena turned her head towards the deeper direction of the valley.

“Devan, is he here?”

A state of silence, long enough, Sachiel just stood looking at him without coming out a word.

“Is she okay?”

Silence remained, Ireena asked, without the slightest reply from Sachiel.

“Go home..”.

Ireena turned her head to face Sachiel, looking at him disdainfully, she was carried away by the calm aura that was on Sachiel.

However, the look on Ireena's face suddenly reacted. He then jumped far back keeping his distance from Sachiel. The wind around Ireena came back cold and drove away. Then, Ireena looked at Sachiel with a sharp gaze.

Ireena looked back in the valley, then she sent the wind to go deeper.

However, after some sudden distance…

“Bush!.”, the wind was flying in all directions.

“Hah..”, Ireena gaped at the phenomenon.

Ireena turned her head back towards Sachiel with a look of dislike. While Sachiel just looked at him normally with a very thin smile on his lips.

The two of them looked at each other without saying anything.

Ireena turned her head back into the valley, but this time she did nothing.

“Come, Devan. Don't let me find you.”, said Ireena with a rather adorable eye.

Ireena went back, leaving Sachiel without a word. He flew low with the wind without taking out his wings.

Sachiel looked at him from where he was standing. Ireena was getting away from her sight. Unlike Ireena, Sachiel continued his words…

“Go home...to the path of your true god.”, said Sachiel gently as he looked at the departed Ireena.
