Soldiers and Red Wine

"We can't stay here anymore, we could have died like Mr. Tairar had better disband our troops and go home to our respective castles" ,hariarr Tura said with a serious-looking face, "while like the orders of the war minister's master we will order our subordinates only to hunt down bandits."

"No, there were already two other nobles killed in his own castle" Vesius said quickly and firmly then he put two scrolls on the table, "Binun Gerald and Varas Birral both of them had just died from the slash of a knife that pointed their silences just like Tairur."

"And disbanding the army will only trouble our war ahead" Vespasian said coldly.

"War is not important and it is very clear that Dalmatia will accept a peace agreement and a ceasefire" said Mr Rodrik Betarrus.

"No" Vespasian said quickly, "Dalmatia will not accept a peace treaty" he said unequivocally.

Vujarr Gerald just watched from the end of the table what he wanted to say but his stern gaze at Vespasian may have other meanings.

Another veteran war general was also waiting in the middle of the table, Huarrar Basileus, he was also just silent from earlier. To be honest, these two people made Vesius a little nervous.

Vesius turned to Vespasian and then swallowed his saliva because Vespasian's stern gaze was no less powerful.

"It is better that we remain in Ballerius and strengthen security" Vesius stood up, "if we go back to the capital then it's the same as making us cowards and even in the capital we're still not safe."

"The first important thing is to find out who is behind all these murders" Huarrar said.

"No my lord, the first business is our security" Harriarr said against Huarrar.

Then Vujarr stood up and quickly cut and opposed the words of the two younger men.

"Finding the masterminds of their murder is important but the war is still continuing and we need a plan to attack Dalmatia for the next few months" Vujarr said.

In the end all the generals stood up and opposed their respective opinions.

"We attack the city of Gysar" Vujarr said, hitting the table

Then lord Rodrik opposed Vujarr.

"Dalmatia is weak and we can definitely beat it

*Drak*

With the door open

The knight of Varis entered the meeting room with and he quickly lowered his head politely.

"I'm sorry, my lord, there are messengers from the capital, all letters are addressed to all of you my masters" said the Knight of Varis who then took out many scrolls of letters from his bag.

All the nobles' gazes were fixed on the knight of Varis.

"Varis give it to everyone, don't stand straight like a tree there" Vesius ordered Varis.

"Ba-good master" said Varis as he moved and gave a letter to everyone.

When Vesius got the letter he then sat in the chair and followed by other nobles who then sat down.

On top of each letter was a sword seal and the Owl signified the order of the war minister Toran of the Garius family.

And all the letters given by the gentlemen in the room have the same contents.

The order for a truce and not attack any Dalmatian troops until the order is given.

If it violates then the person who violates will be considered the enemy of both countries.

But there is no order about the peace treaty or the word that offends the matter.

Peace treaty...apparently not implemented..what are the Dalmatians planning this time?, Vesius thought in his heart.

"She's my family" Charla said in a weak voice and looked sad.

He sat next to the body of his uncle Tairar covered in white cloth.

"When I was 5 years old, he bought me a toy sword, and then he was scolded by my mother" Charla said.

"I'm sorry buk, his death is too heavy for the family of Ohara" said Knight Bejand Bettarus.

Charla turned to Bejand with a slightly annoyed and angry look to Bejand.

"When your master and the other masters are done talking, we need a quick decision ahead" Charla said, looking annoyed at the wait.

"I'm sorry, the problems of the gentlemen are very important and we are not allowed to disturb or be upset with how long their meetings are" Bejand said firmly.

"Our country is in chaos and our important nobles are being killed on the streets right now" Charla said as she stood angrily, "you think there's more time?!"

Then Wale entered and broke into the door, and then Vesius entered

"I'm sorry I made you wait for Miss, but my orders have been given and we will return Tairar to Gelaria with his 800 men where he will be buried properly by his family" Vesius said, stepping into the room, "while the search for the Tairar killer will be taken care of by us and you can return to Gelaria for your safety, miss."

"I'm not going back to Gelaria" Charla said.

"This is for your safety, miss" Wale said.

"Security to be considered is security for all of you, not for myself" Charla said against Wale's remarks.

Then Vesius stepped forward trying to persuade Charla.

"I don't need a bodyguard" Charla said, "I've survived the battle without a bodyguard for Garius."

Charla looked at Vesius with a heavy gaze even making Vesius a little nervous.

Her eyes were as strong as a queen's but in a different sense.

Vesius looked back into his eyes, his eyes were quite beautiful with a purple color mixed with blood red inside.

Then Charla stepped away past Wale and Vesius

At this point Wale almost drew his sword.

Charla walked out of the room and walked away.

When Charla left the room, silence came and then Vesius turned to Walle.

"Courage will get him killed one day" Vesius said.

The sound of the wheels of the car rang on the muddy road.

Filda's father whistled while whipping the horse pulling the carriage.

While Hanno in the back sat with the goods that would be traded Father Filda to the city of Ballerius.

Hanno just sat quietly and quietly while reading a history book.

Jean rode a horse beside the chariot that Filda's father was riding.

Jean smiles to see Hanno reading the history book.

"You're interested in history, son?" asked Jean to Hanno.

"Lumayan" Hanno said.

"Then look ahead" Jean said.

The sizable walls of Ballerius city with several mountains and hills fused with it made Hanno a little amazed.

"It is the city of Ballerius son, hundreds of years or even thousands of people say that this city stands" Jean said.

Hanno was silent and calm but he was a little surprised by the structure of the defensive walls of Ballerius.

"For more than 300 years, the city has been besieged and attacked 43 times. Throughout history there has only been one successful siege in which 'Vurass the hammer' conquered this city, where it was made to kneel to Victa for the next 110 years" ,the story of Jean carving her red-lipped smile.

"Yes.yes.please tell the story of history as you please miss" said Father Filda in a lazy voice.

Jean lectured Filda's father with a smile.

"Based parents" Jean said insultingly.

Next to the city of Ballerius there is a road that is quite wide but it appears that some parts of the road are really badly damaged.

The road is made of stone but looks really old with moss covering most of the road.

Then there was a long queue of merchants entering the city and soldiers who checked one by one traders and patrolled around them.

Check if there are any weapons or suspicious items belonging to them.

"What is this?" said Father Filda in confusion.

The sound of the merchant chatting sounded.

"Why is this?" said one of the protest traders.

"Why are we only checked in this city while in other cities we are left alone!?"

Seen some soldiers dragging some sharp weapons and swords.

"That's a hereditary sword from my great-grandfather! Restore it! I can't accept if you take it!" said one of the fathers shouting while held by 3 soldiers.

Some of the soldiers were also seen beating some of the people who did not accept to hand over his belongings.

"Oi what is this? Poison!" said one of the soldiers, exuding a bottle of black water from a merchant's pocket he checked.

"Ti-no sir, it's not poison for humans it's poison for hunting pack" said the merchant who looks weak.

"You're a spy!?" said the soldier, holding the merchant.

"N-no! Sir! That's for me to sell in the city sir! Please sir! Don't put me in jail! My wife is waiting for me at home! She is pregnant sir!" said the merchant sadly and weakly.

Other looks of commotion also sounded even some people clashing with the soldiers.

But the uniformed warrior complete with armour and sword, common folk was incomparable to the soldiers.

Soldiers just beat up people who don't want to be checked or fight.

"We're lucky to have only a kitchen knife" said Father Filda as he gulped.

Then Jean immediately rode his horse forward.

Passing through the merchants and queues, he continued to ride up to the front of the queue.

Hanno and Filda's father were quite astonished by Jean's behavior.

They were both quite confused by this situation.

And forced to wait behind the queue and will let the soldiers interrogate them.
