Hannoic War
Ohara cotton (part 26)

"You're trying to make everyone love you, you're gonna end up as the city's most popular corpse"

the - Ser Bronn of Blackwater

Ohara Cotton

Vesius walked into the innermost room of the bronze sword castle.

The fat body of Vesius was a bit difficult to move in the early morning but at least this time his body was lighter than when he was wearing the armour on the battlefield that made his body sometimes sick.

An old man opened a door.

Plastered in front of the two of them a room with hundreds of spacious bookshelves.

The Victa state library..

"Heisen, is it true that you know where the book on magic is accurate in the library of the Republic?" said Vesius as he looked around.

"Calm down my lord" said the old man called Heisen by the Vesius.

Heisen was the librarian of the republic and Vesius had known him for many years.

Heisen used to be the assistant library keeper of the republic then the library keeper died and Heisen replaced him.

The Heisen that Vesius saw was now older than Heisen was, he now had many wrinkles on his face than he had in the past.

Heisen is still sharp as before just his older physique.

He stepped into the room deeper. The library is huge with bookshelves everywhere.

The sunlight shone through this place through the window.

There are some dusty bookshelves and even some spiders nesting here.

It looked very quiet and only the two of them were in this room.

"The book of magic is a rare book of my master, there are even philosophers who say that there are only 10,000 accurate books about magic left in this world" ,heisen said as he walked looking and looked around the bookshelf.

The two of them walked between the bookshelves looking for books on magic.

Knowledge and great historical records surround them.

"But the words of the philosopher are wrong, the witches of the holy city of Cyronia continue to produce new magic books even though sometimes the price is thousands of coins but still more and more magic books" Heisen said.

Then he rubbed the dust-filled bookshelf and picked up a book.

"But my lord, magic is something mysterious, therefore many magic books are inaccurate and merely a hoax, but I think this is the most accurate book among the other magic books in the Republic library" Heisen said as he picked up a thick, dusty book on the books.

Heisen opposed the tome in his hands.

The two of them then walked to a table in this room that was illuminated by the sun.

The library room is quite dark even though there are windows that make this room shine only in some areas.

"The state library has been quieter lately, when the last time I was here 2 years ago, there were at least a few nerds or scientists who were here" ,vesius said he saw bookshelves around him filled with dust and spider webs.

"Yes my master has had many scientists and educated parents who have died, even some people are senat some are not good at reading, now is a dark time for knowledge" ,heisen said in his old voice.

*tumm!*

Then there was the sound of Heisen putting the thick book on the table.

"How to use magic and control it.from the Witch Ascarion Ohara.." - Read Vesius from the cover of the book which looks more clearly with the light from the window.

"Wait a minute my master has another book that I haven't found yet, sir can you wait here?" Heisen said in his slightly friendly old voice, "just calm down, it's not too far from here, my lord, even master I can hear that master is speaking quite loudly"

"Yes well.." - Vesius.

Heisen then walked with his old back, back into the collection of bookshelves looking for the book they were both looking for.

Then Vesius opened the thick book.

"If you may ask my lord? Why do you want to learn magic?" asked Heisen behind a thick bookshelf.

Heisen's voice was quite echoing in the library.

*It is true that his voice can be heard from here.*, Vesius thought in his heart.

"Have you heard that the kingdom of Dalmatia summoned 39 heroes from the other world Heisen? 39 Heroes equals 39 witches, the great Cassandra created the most vast empire in the world with only 20 great witches" Vesius said in a big voice while opening one page after another.

Vesius smiled as he read the book.

*Ascarian Ohara.witch of the Ohara family.he participated in the war of the conquest of Geralda 100 years ago.* , thought Vesius.

Vesius removed some of the dust in the book and looked at some parts of the book.

"As early as 3,000 years ago the old Thamunian Empire conquered the world using hundreds of their witches, but unfortunately they were destroyed by civil war" Vesius said.

"Tu-tuan wants to learn magic?" Heisen said as he heard the sound of a book swipe.

"No Heisen, magic is too dangerous for me to control, humans are very weak in the face of magic power. But when magic can be controlled then that power can make the whole world submit, but the magic is not.." said Vesius who then stopped his speech for a while.

"Magic is not always very strong and invincible" Heisen said softly connecting the words of Vesius behind the bookshelf.

He then emerged from behind the bookshelf and carried another thick book in his hand.

"The great Cassandra conquered half of my lord's world and was invincible in all the battles she led during her lifetime, but one of her witch generals was defeated by the Tyronians by being ambushed at the Battle of the Orange Forest" ,said Heisen who then put one more thick book on the table.

*tumm!*

Heisen's voice put the thick book is quite echoed in this room

"The Tramunian Empire was even repulsed by the Kievara and the Rhamunians did not dare to conquer Kievara for 150 years after their failure to conquer Kievara" ,heisen said as he sat in a chair close to Vesius.

Heisen smiled gently.

"Master is looking for a way to defeat magic isn't that right?" Heisen said.

"It's easy to guess that I'm looking to fight magic, but we're different Heisen, we're not like Kievara or Tyronia, Victa's too weak to resist magic power" ,venius said while reading the book.

Vesius then dragged the thick book that Heisen had picked up earlier.

"It was the knowledge of the General who sharpened the swords of his soldiers" Vesius said while seriously reading the book, "Formerly Dalmatia did have many witches but most of them could not use magic, but they were only educated in magic, which is what made Dalmatia not as strong as it is now"

"Hero, I hope there is peace. The war has been going on for too long" Heisen said.

"Yes 25 years.25 years...Dalmatia has been at war since I was 4 years old, I was a child and I remember my brothers" Vesius said with a small laugh at the end of his speech.

"I remember your brothers sir, I remember young lord Vulanarr he was very wild and brave at the tournament, I also remember Celaurus a very loyal and moral person first, he said, I remember serving them first" Heisen said with a smile as he sat down with Vesius at his desk.

"Hm, all my brothers are great but it's a pity that they are no more. If they don't die on the battlefield maybe I'm not here to accompany my father in the capital, those who will accompany my father are not me" Vesius smiled in memory of his childhood.

"But it was my brother's death that brought me the light of war, to step out of the ridicule of those around me who called me a coward.." ,vesius said as he looked at his hand which was filled with gold rings and green diamonds from Legata.

Vesius remembers how he was 14 years old when his father was dragged into battle by Tyronia 15 years ago.

All of that after 2 of Vesius' brothers died in battle and his father wanted his last son to know what the military was even if it was necessary at an early age.

Vesius became a general from then on and commanded 14,000 troops but day after day and year his army was reduced to 3,000.

There are some new troops that he recruits but sometimes they die quickly and sometimes they grow into veterans.

"Master Vesius!" said someone calling Vesius from a collection of bookshelves.

The footsteps of someone sounded towards the two of them.

Vesius and Heisen looked back at their voices.

Vesius stood up from his chair.

"It seems that my father did not let me rest" said Vesius, who then walked towards the exit with Olivvar.

"It turns out you were there, son! I'm looking for you everywhere!" said Filda's father, walking towards Hanno.

Behind Hanno, Charla and Jean follow him.

"What's the matter, sir?" said Hanno.

"Nothing, it's close for us to go" Filda's father said, holding Hanno's shoulder.

Hanno then walked with Filda's father beside her away from Jean and Charla.

The market is quite crowded these days as usual with soldiers everywhere.

The sound of selling and people buying something is heard.

The laughter of the soldiers could also be heard from afar.

While the temptations of prostitutes from brothels could be felt only a few meters away from the four of them.

Children playing wooden swords in the street.

"Hahaha" , their laughter sounded, "you cheat!" , yelling at one of the angry children.

They seem to enjoy their happy times.

The slightly mossy stone path unfolded with the daylight sunlight shining down on it.

"The city is quite prosperous despite 25 years of war" said Father Filda.

"Yes.." said Hanno in a soft voice.

.

"The boy named Hanno looked very close to the father, his face was brighter than with us" Charla said.

"You used to be so confused with Vespasian and Uncle Tairar?~" , said Jean in a mischievous tone.

"That used to be brother, uncle Tairar is dead and Vespasian.he has changed.." Charla said in a slightly heavy voice.

"Yes.time has passed and people have changed." - Jean.

"Honestly, my sister still hasn't changed.the brother is still like he used to smile and be cheerful" Charla said.

"Really~ am I still pretty?" , said Jean cutely as she pressed her cheek with her index finger.

"Yes" said Charla quickly.

"You haven't changed Charla either, it's been 20 years but it's still easy for you to say that quickly" Jean said.

"Maybe it's true that I haven't changed" Charla said.

.

"Hahahahaha!" , Father Filda's laughter rang out from the front as she patted Hanno's back several times.

Hanno was silent but could be seen smiling a little.

"Face to the family." - Jean smiled.

"Hm?" said Charla.

"Nothing, by the way you're brighter and sweeter around me" Jean smiled as she tilted her head.

"Hm, it's because you're my brother and still my brother who hasn't changed" Charla said with a smile.

"Truly you me and you haven't changed, I hope we're the same as we used to play in the castle of the title playing with swords, and Masimia's servant's mother scolds us.." '' Jean said, "but everything has changed and we all have our own path" Jean looks up at her silver medal Haralia written with her name in her hand.

There was a question Charla wanted to ask after seeing the Haralia medal, it had been many years that the Haralia medal with her sister's name was not Charla saw.

*It turns out that you've been carrying it all along.*, thought Charla.

He remembered his brother was more cheerful when he could still wear the Haralia medal, the medal was made of Haral stone which is quite rare.

When the senate is removed from its title as senate then the medal Haralia will be scratched, Haral stone is a stone that is difficult to be scratched or carved so it takes other rare strong materials to do a scratch on it.

Her brother's medal was crossed out and banned from use, if anyone wearing the Haralia medal had been crossed out blatantly then he would be beheaded or hanged.

*So her sister can't wear it.*, thought Charla.

"Sister isn't planning to go back?" said Charla curiously.

"What's Charla doing? I've fought and lost.My fight is over.Violet's faction has been defeated" Jean said in a heavy tone while continuing to look at her Treasure medal.

"The women's glory days in Victoria are broken, no one even knows me anymore" Jean said as she put her Treasure medal back on.

Charla was silent and could not comment on her brother's decision.

"Miss I'm going home" Hanno said, closing in on the two of them.

It was seen that Father Filda looked at the two of them from afar with a cynical look.

"Ah yes, quite a beautiful day, son, I hope you become a good person under the teachings of my sister" Charla said, holding Hanno's hand.

"What is this?" said Hanno, feeling something in his hand.

"Farewell gift because I don't think we'll ever see a unique child like you again in a long time, thanks to you too I met my sister after 4 years" Charla said, taking her hand off from Hanno.

Then Hanno's hand looks something.

A handkerchief with a cotton coat in his hand.

The handkerchief is quite large and may even be used as a bandage.

"That's a lucky sign handkerchief from my family, the Ohara family, may you grow up as fast and useful as a cotton boy" Charla smiled as she held Hanno's shoulder.

Charla then took off Hanno's shoulder and held her bag back.

*Know this kid is pretty loud.*, thought Charla.

"I'm going too, sister" said Charla KeJean.

"Yes, you also have Charla road. I hope you don't repeat my mistake, if we meet again I hope you improve" Jean said as she walked forward with her adult life rather than her usual.

Something that is rarely seen from Jean.

"I hope you too" said Charla.

Jean is seen walking towards the Father of Filda signifying that he will follow the Father of Filda

Filda's father looked at her while raising his eyebrows from feeling strange.

"God! It's rare for you to be quiet and mature like that damn woman" Filda's father said.

Hanno then follows Jean as she walks towards Filda's father.

Charla left while carrying her two bags.

In that market they parted into their own paths...
