He's Not A Bad Boy

He's Not A Bad Boy
Chapter 38 - Istikharah Prayer

I knew he was retreating, albeit unwillingly, but as hard as I could convince myself of another choice. However, my heart trembled again when he appeared in my dream and took me to His heaven.

Whatdoes thatmean? Could this be the answer to my istikharah?

O Allah, if you are a match, meet us. If he approaches us, as long as he is faithful in Your way.

"Papa, Mama, there is something Khaira wants to say" Khaira said after Zafran invited her to speak first.

"Say, Son."

"Actually, last night Khaira accidentally heard papa and Boy talk. Honestly, when he found out Boy had come to propose, Khaira was very happy, but upon hearing Boy retreat, Khaira was disappointed." Khaira was now bowed with a lethargic face.

"Do you love Boy, son?" ask Ainun.

Khaira did not immediately answer, he only remained silent for a moment in his submission. "Khaira doesn't know what that taste means, Ma. This is the first time Khaira has felt that way" Khaira replied honestly.

Zafran looked at Ainun and Akmal alternately.

"Then? Don't you want to choose Ali? Boy has retreated," said Zafran, making Khaira immediately raised her face.

"Khaira's getting confused, Pa. Khaira just had a dream after praying istikharah last night. There a man came to take Khaira to heaven, his face was not clearly visible, but from the shape of his body, Khaira was sure it was Boy."

All the families at the table were silent, except for Umar who nodded his head several times.

"That means the soul mate of the brother is well Boy," Umar chirped, making everyone immediately turn to look at the teenage boy.

"Why? Right?" Umar raised both his hands so confidently with the conjecture he had just made.

"Darling, try praying istikharah again, if indeed your dream is still the same, then let Papa go straight to see Boy."

Everyone's views now turn to Zafran.

"Are you serious, Bang?" akmal asked and answered a nod by Zafran.

Nothing had changed from the house at all, his picture was still on display in several places, even his room was always clean, as if his presence in the house was highly anticipated.

Boy had been in the hospital for two days, accompanied his father, and for two days he could not talk to the father who slept more because he was so weak. Her body is tired and needs rest. He only asked the nurse to contact him when his father had woken up from sleep.

Boy sat in his room staring at the window and smiled, though he was forced.

"I didn't think we'd actually meet again, I thought it was a sign that we were dating, but I seemed to have misinterpreted the meaning of our meeting. I forget that the soul mate is not only about meeting, but there is God's blessing and destiny that is also more important."

Later that night, a car stops right at a mansion that houses Boy and his father.

"Are you sure this is his house?" asked a middle-aged man who was holding the wheel while occasionally looking towards the house.

"Yes, Dad, this is what I got from my friend" Silvi replied.

"It turns out he's rich too, what else is his name?" ask the mother who also wanted to wave her child continued with a man she loved.

"His name is Boy, Boy Anderson" replied Silvi who was sitting in the second seat.

"W-what? B-Boy Anderson?" The middle-aged woman's heart instantly thumped hearing that name. He obviously knew the name, but was he really the Boy he knew so well?

"Yes, why? Do you know her?" silvi asked a little astonished.

"No, I don't know him," the middle-aged woman replied quickly. It was obvious that there was anxiety on her face and Silvi was aware of it, but the girl did not want to bother, for now she wanted to be so stupid that her business was done.

After being invited in by the security guard, the father ran his car into the yard of the house. One by one they came out except the mother.

"Why don't you come out, ma'am?" ask Silvi.

"Mother here alone, suddenly mother feels unwell," replied the middle-aged woman reasoned.

"It'll be more uncomfortable if you sit here alone, honey. Come on in with us, it won't be long." Inevitably, the middle-aged woman came out because she was pulled by the husband.

They walked to the door and knocked several times.
