Chapter 22. Sudden

When Lee arrived at the company basement, it turned out that Renata was already in his room. The woman had cleaned the table and was ready to work. However, Lee suddenly gets an urgent phone call from the company's director.

That the company that cooperated with him, cut the work contract that had been planned next month. This made Lee inevitably have to fly out of town.

"Zack, tell him to get everything ready. Today I'm going out of town!" lee said with a hasty move. When the mood is not good, he must remain professional.

Because by working, he can forget a little about the problems that have befallen him.

"Sir, are you going to bring Miss Renata?" Instead of obeying Lee's orders, Zack asked his cousin's boss and brother. 

Making Lee suddenly stop his steps, he rolled his eyeballs, as if he was caught off guard by the question Zack was asking. Because until now the man still did not understand.

"Of course, then who else would I bring? Ye? Remember, the company needs someone too! I only trust you for now!" lee said firmly.

Without waiting for Zack's answer. The man immediately stepped into the company's top elevator. And by force, Zack resigned. He actually felt that Lee did not like Renata, because the attitude of the woman was very different when with him.

She was afraid that Lee would always say a little too much to the woman, even though Renata was not making trouble.

"Good morning, Master, Assistant Zack," Renata said with a friendly smile as she watched the two men enter the room. Lee only glanced at a glance, then continued his steps towards his grand table.

Zack approaches Renata to tell the woman that he must join Lee on a business trip.

"Morning, Miss Renata. Oh yeah, the revision you did yesterday?" ask Zack first, because now he needs it.

"Already, Assistant Zack," Renata replied while searching for the requested file. He handed it to Zack quickly.

"good. Later in the day you get ready, because today you will come with Mr. Lee out of town. There was a sudden business trip," said Zack, which left Renata's eyes perfectly rounded.

He pointed at himself. "I?"

"Yes, because I wouldn't be able to leave the company. Afraid something's going on here, and no one's holding back. So, sir's taking you."

"But—"

"There's no buts! If you're not willing, you better leave this company, I need competent and responsible workers!" sambar Lee, make Renata ketar-ketir.

So, for a few days he had to be alone with Lee. Oh, my God, just imagining it feels like he can't. But wait! Isn't this good? If he can make Lee comfortable with him, of course he can get closer to his children.

It seems like he has to change strategy, yes, he has to be kind and obedient to Lee, for the man to believe in him that he is a good person, and will not mess with his two children.

"Good, Sir. I will follow all company policies. Sorry to argue," Renata said, finally trying to give up.

"Then bring all the files to me!" lee said firmly. Didn't want Renata to depend on the assistant.

With a clumsy smile, Renata asked back the file in Zack's hands. Then walk towards Lee. He felt that Lee was indeed a dangerous man, once enraged his mouth felt very spicy, passing the hundred kilogram cayenne pepper.

"Sir, then what about my clothes?" ask Renata when they're on their way.

"I'll buy it when I get there! Do not whine, you better learn the project we are working on. This afternoon too, we'll meet the client!" 

Hearing that, Renata immediately took a bite. Because Lee is the type of man who likes to be arbitrary, and can not be denied. Hah, indeed well, a man like this is very annoying. I swear by anything, Renata wanted to kick Lee's leg, until the man complained of pain.

In the car, Lee and Renata sat next to each other. Until Renata can see what his boss's activities are, including when Lee tries to contact someone, who turns out to be Fenny—the new nanny of his two twins.

"Hello, Daddy, Shasha and Kak Gio are having lunch" said the beautiful boy across the street. Fenny knows that if the master calls, it means that the man needs to talk to his children.

"Daddy's smart kid. Good girl and good boy!" reply Lee with a face that looks very different. So angry, now smile. Renata was amazed to see it.

"Where's Daddy going?" This time Gio asked.

"Daddy's trying to get to the airport, honey. Because Daddy has a job out of town, Daddy permits yes, only 2 to 3 days really. Later Daddy will bring a gift for Gio and Shasha" explained Lee, while giving understanding to his two children.

"Is Daddy with Uncle Zack?" shasha asked while chewing.

"This time no, dear," Lee replied, he glanced at Renata who was bowing her head. "Daddy with Renata's sister."

"Well, Daddy's with a pretty brother? Is he next to Daddy?" 

Shasha looks so happy that she snatched the phone from Fenny's hand. With Lee forced to nod, seeing the happy Shasha, he also felt happy.

"Speak," Lee said, handing her phone over to Renata, making the woman turn and frown.

"Speak what, sir?"

"With my two children," Lee replied with a flat gaze. Really, Renata did not understand why the mood of the man beside her could change so quickly.

But now Renata's focus is not that. Since he did not want to waste time with Gio and Shasha, he immediately snatched the phone in Lee's hand, then showed his face on the screen.

"Hello, Little Miss, Little Master, what are you doing?" asked Renata with happy sparkling eyes.

And the two children filled him with enthusiasm. Despite Lee's phone screen, dominated by Shasha's face, Renata can still hear Gio's voice talking.

So busy chatting, it did not feel that the sedan car had arrived at the airport. Renata said goodbye, because they had to go, "See you." The beautiful woman said as she waved her hand.

And finally the call was cut off, but that second also Renata was made flabbergasted by the screen lock phone owned by Lee. He couldn't have mistaken her, but why?
