Chapter 28. Like a Couple of Husbands and Wives

Now Lee and Renata are going around looking for something they will give Gio and Shasha. Lee led in front while occasionally drowning. No different from what Renata did, until the beautiful woman asked Lee to stop.

"Sir, that looks good." He said while pointing at the store with a myriad of children's games.

"What?"

"That musical instrument, don't they like it?"

"All right, let's look over there!" breaking up Lee, he stepped back with Renata who always tailed. Both look like a couple who are choosing toys for their children.

Until the waiter thinks like that. "Your children are twins?" Asked, which made Renata immediately stop his activities, he was fixated while Lee returned misbehavior.

"Ah, no. They're my children, he just chose it" Lee replied trying to stay cool. Especially now in public, he did not want his image that was full of authority, destroyed just because of the wrong behavior of Renata's husband.

"Oh sorry, sir, I thought you were husband and wife" said the maid, bowing her head. While Renata is still silent, it does not seem to accept that everyone else thinks that she is not the mother of the twins.

After finishing shopping for his two children, Lee went to a women's clothing store. Renata frowned, would Lee buy something for Sofia as well?

"Choose there, at least two," Lee said as he pointed at the clothes lined up using his chin.

Renata was dumbstruck, as Lee did not mention specifically, who the clothes were for. "You want to buy Lady Sofia? Should I choose too?"

Cih, I don't think I'm going to!

Lee only stared at Renata's two eyeballs, but the woman did not understand what this one man meant.

"Would not a husband choose clothes for his wife, not others. So, I guess, you're more entitled and know—"

"Stop nagging, those clothes are for you!" lee said, because Renata can never immediately agree what his orders are.

Hearing that, Renata was immediately stunned, she even more clumsy in front of Lee. "For me, sir?"

"Well, I'm tired of looking at your shirt that-it continues, from tomorrow wear another shirt! A little colorful," said Lee, even though his company asked Renata to wear a white shirt with a black span skirt. Why did he blame the woman now?

To be honest Renata felt bad, because it was certain that the items here were very expensive, but rather than her fuss with Lee, it was better for her to immediately pick up which clothes would fit on her body.

Renata took out two work suits, and he planned to try them out one by one. Out of the locker room, she somehow walked over to Lee, and asked for the man's opinion.

"Master, how?" the question, made Lee take his eyes off the phone. First, Lee's gaze fell on Renata's shoes, then rose to the point of actually seeing the beautiful figure before her.

Lee was stammering. "Obviously. But it suits you." He said turning his face away.

With a limp shoulder, Renata changed her clothes again. Then show it to Lee again. "If this is what, sir?"

Lee pretended to rub his face. "Just pick whichever one, soon we'll have to go."

Strangely, that one word was triggered in Renata's brain. Without changing his clothes, he immediately paid for groceries wearing Lee's black card, even easily the man gave the pin.

"Didn't he worry about me swiping more?" muttered Renata while glancing at Lee who was still loyal to sit on the sofa.

"Madamma, this is your husband's card" said the cashier, who made Renata gawk, again assuming that he and Lee were husband and wife. Huh, that sucks.

Without talking Renata immediately took his groceries, then left from there.

By late afternoon Lee and Renata were reviewing the place where the production of the launching product was located. There they meet someone who is in charge of everything, Antoni.

During the tour, Antoni continued to pay attention to Renata. Makes the woman feel uncomfortable, even several times Antoni tucked questions off topic.

After settling down, Lee immediately decided to go home, but Antoni held him back.

"Sir, how about we have dinner first, all drinks for a while, it's been a long time 'we don't meet, it's a pity if you just go back, '" said the man. "Let me invite Mr. Bagas as well."

Lee glanced at Renata, the woman seemed to feel uneasy lingering here. "I'm sorry, I promised to go home tonight. My kids are waiting at home."

"Oh then can I ask for your secretary's number? So if there is anything, I can immediately contact him," said Antoni, who succeeded in making Lee feel embarrassed.

"No need, you just call Zack. If that's all right, we'll excuse you," Lee replied firmly, then immediately grabbed Renata's hand to leave from there.

Cih, shit! Inner Antoni, even though he wants to get acquainted personally with Renata.

While Renata could only widen her eyelids as Lee continued to clasp her hands. Not wanting to get carried away, Renata let go of Lee's hand quite violently. "Sorry, Sir. I can walk by myself."

Lee was confused, why did he hold Renata's hand?
