Chapter 67. Barbeques

That night they had a barbeque party. Lee prepares a grill in the yard, while Renata picks up food ready to burn.

There were no officers to help them, as Lee deliberately made their time much more valuable. Gio and Shasha seemed to roll out mats together, until they really looked like family.

"Is there anything else we can do?" gio asked as he looked at Lee and Renata in turn.

Renata gave a smile, he was happy because since that night Gio's attitude became warmer. Even the little man did not hesitate to speak directly to her.

"Come here, I need the help of Little Master and Miss Shasha to pierce the flesh," Renata said as she moved her hands, asking her two children to come closer.

"How is it, Beautiful Brother?" ask Shasha.

Renata instantly took out the meat and the puncture simultaneously. "Please pay attention first, and you should also be careful because the edges are sharp."

Gio smiled faintly, as if the job was the easiest thing. "It's not something that's hard."

"Then try," challenged Renata with a faint smile.

"I also want to try it" said Shasha, the little girl also took a prick and some preparations were about to be burned.

While at the end there, Lee kept silent and took notice. It was undeniable that his heart really felt happy to see the closeness between Renata and her two children. Because all this time he rarely spoiled the twins, due to being busy with work.

"I really felt like a failure after your departure, Alice," said Lee, then he stepped closer to the three people. He stood behind Renata, and without asking for permission, the man grabbed Renata's hair to pigtail.

"Master?" call Renata while glancing to the side, wanting to see what the man behind her would do.

"I want to help you hair. Because it looks like your hair is disturbing" Lee said softly.

"If I wanted to, I could do it, sir," replied Renata, who made Lee's hand movements stop.

Lee wanted to answer, but Gio chimed in first. "But Aunty's hands are dirty. Let Daddy help, Daddy is unemployed. Isn't that right, Dad?"

The man who was spoken to nodded his head. Somehow she felt that the twins were a good partner to get Renata's attention.

"But I don't want to, Little Master," Renata denied.

"Aunty's hair is long, if exposed to food how? Wouldn't it be unhygienic?"

Renata finally silenced, if Gio had spoken he seemed to run out of words to answer.

"Again Kis Gorgeous will look more beautiful when pigtailed. Like me," sambar Shasha waving his long hair. Which made Lee chuckle.

Without seeking Renata's approval, Lee immediately resumed his intentions. He styled Renata's hair painstakingly until it looked neat, only then tied her up into one.

Renata kept silent. Why does he always feel that what Lee does has to do with their past. Because this is one of Lee's habits when she was pregnant. Lee is not a man who is good at words, but Lee always shows his affection through actions.

"Here you are, you're more free, right?"

Lee nodded his head, then his gaze turned to Gio and Shasha. "Give it to Daddy. Let Daddy roast it."

The two boys simultaneously gave each of them their own.

"This one is mine" said Shasha marking his ownership.

"Haish, anywhere! After all it feels the same," Gio replied, but Shasha still did not want to hear. He's the one who put the sausage in the prick, so the sausage belongs to him.

"You guys just want to eat one?" sambar Renata already carried some puncture.

"Well right, Beautiful Brother has gotten a lot of meat and sausages. I can't lose, oh yeah, I'll make it for Daddy, too" Shasha said with a look on her face that looked adorable.

"Thank you, baby," Lee said as he smashed the top of his daughter's head.

"Thank you for something else, Dad. I want the latest Barbie bag, so Daddy has to buy it when he gets home" Shasha replied in a coquettish fashion. Reminds him when Alicia wants something.

"Oh my God, my daughter already understands money."

Lee who had felt unable to bear immediately kissed Shasha's face, until the little girl chuckled.

A while passed, Lee had already managed to bake all the food that became their menu tonight. With a smile the man carried the tray towards the three people who were playing music.

"It's time to eat," exclaimed Lee, making the three people immediately turn their eyes away.

"Wow, it looks really good" Shasha said, clapping her hands.

"Remember how much of yours is that?" said Gio.

"What the fuck are you, mine that knows a lot. That's my beautiful sister helping me."

"You should try it yourself!" sneer the little man while picking up one skewer of meat.

"It's the same, my sister and I are beautiful as a team" Shasha said, not to be outdone.

"It's not good to argue in front of food. You better try this mayonnaise." Renata tries to mediate by holding out a bowl of mayonnaise.

Lee took a skewer of sausage and dipped it in a bowl. However, he instead stretched it out before Renata's mouth. "Eat ...."

Renata was immediately stunned. Wanting to refuse but he felt tired if he continued to argue, because he believed denying Lee was not the right decision.

Until he chooses to bite what is in front of him. And that made Lee smile.
