Chapter 53. Unsettled

Unsettled, Zack decides to go see Renata. He remembered that tonight the woman went to college, and he would try to check there.

Zack stepped up in a hurry. However, as he passed through the living room, he saw a shadow of Lee coming out of Aneeq's study.

And that certainly made Zack stop the move. He's become a gamelan, between wanting to go or not. If he continued his intention, it would naturally be a question mark.

Especially now that she knows that Renata is Alicia. But if he stays, he won't be able to sleep all night.

"Why did I go wrong?" muttered Zack with a riled face. Not wanting to create a misunderstanding, the man finally decided to approach his cousin's sister.

"Sister Lee!"

Hearing his name being called, Lee raised his head. While Aneeq pamit first, to approach his wife.

"What's up, Zack?" lee asked, he looked at the cousin's face, it was obvious that the man was hiding something.

"Eum, look, brother. Renata called me earlier, but as soon as I picked him up he kept silent, even as if there were no people. I don't know what that means, but I'm afraid something's going on, let alone that he just got home from college, so I want to invite you to check it out" Zack explained. Rather than him having to go alone and make her more attached to Renata, it was better for her to take Lee along.

Hearing that, again there was jealousy in Lee's heart. Moreover, Zack looks attentive to Renata. However, not wanting to be too obvious, Lee immediately nodded.

"Let me go over there," breaks Lee, who makes Zack link his eyebrows together.

"meaning?"

"You stay here. Let me meet him!"

"But, Kak—"

Not yet had time to continue his sentence, Lee had already stepped away from Zack. The man's steps were really wide, so Lee quickly disappeared from Zack's sight.

"Huh, stop. Leave it alone," murmured Zack, then chose to rejoin his family.

Lee got into the car and got into the gas. So that he could see Renata's state quickly.

"It could have kept Zack's number, but it didn't have my number!" grumbled Lee with a feeling of annoyance. He reached into the cell phone, to check Renata's current location.

The woman's car returned to the apartment.

"What happened to him that called Zack night-night?" Again Lee grumbled, feeling unacceptable if Renata called another man, in the moment of need of something.

During the trip the man continued to be overwhelmed with misgivings. Until he continues to carry his four-wheeled vehicle very fast.

After spending some time on the highway. Lee finally arrives at Renata's apartment. As soon as he got out of the car, he saw Renata who was walking towards the elevator.

"Well, then what really happened?" muttered Lee, he was a little relieved to see the woman still standing firm. However, not wanting his struggle to be in vain, Lee soon caught up with Renata.

The man sneaked in when the elevator door was about to close, leaving Renata feeling extremely shocked.

Renata reflexively retreated, while Lee was glued to the corner of Renata's injured lip. He frowned, looking over questioningly.

With his instincts Lee raised his hand, but when the man was about to touch Renata's lips, the woman immediately dodged.

The man immediately looked clumsy and switched to touching his nape that felt cold. "Eum, I just drove Regina home, and I accidentally saw you." Lee replied, because only that reason flashed through his head.

Renata immediately pursed the base of his nose. "Regina? Then where is he?"

"He's in the back. Your apartment floors are different, aren't they?"

Right too, Lee's reasoning sounds reasonable. However, why did he even feel uneasy about the existence of this man. "Yes, Sir. But why are you following me? It's late, I don't accept guests, because I'll be resting soon."

"I'll be home after you answer my question. What's wrong with your lips?"

Hearing the question, Renata reflexively touched the corner of her bloody lips and she grimaced a little. "Sstt ..."

"I'll treat you!" cetus Lee, who made Renata immediately raised his face.

"No need, Sir. I can do it myself." Renata refused, and made Lee stare dislike.

"You're my employee, so I won't let you get hurt!" lee said he immediately pulled Renata's arm when the elevator door opened, leaving the woman unable to refute what her boss said.

However, Lee was even confused because he did not know which apartment unit belonged to Renata. Seeing that, Renata let out a sigh, he immediately pulled his hand from Lee's grasp, then stepped first.

They ended up sitting on the sofa together. Lee immediately prepared cold water, then slowly cleaned the corner of Renata's lips.

"You still don't want to say it?" ask Lee.

"It's none of your business, sir!" answer Renata. He won't complain, or he'll be increasingly bullied by Sofia.

Lee no longer chimed in on the words of the woman in front of him. Because he knew Renata would not be able to easily believe him just like that. Though he can guess, if all this is Sofia.

And after everything was sorted out, Lee asked Renata to open the phone. "Note my number, because I'll call you more now!"

"Contact what does that mean?"

"About work."

Actually Renata feels reluctant, but he does not forget his position in the company. He also kept Lee's number.

"Thank you for your kindness, sir, but you better leave soon, it's already very night," Renata said, standing up, so that Lee could get out of his place.

Lee watched Renata's eyes, a beauty he often saw in the morning, when he had just woken up. "Well, next time don't be careless, because this week our work piles up."

Renata nodded at a glance. Lee was unwilling to leave the woman. However, like anything, he couldn't.

Lee left immediately without speaking. And when he was already outside, he immediately contacted his men.

"Once again you let Sofia touch Renata, I'll break your heads one by one!"
