The knife hit the stomach and there was blood seeping out visible from the pink t-shirt. Elkan shouted. Even with Rosaline's echoing laughter. The girl showed no remorse, instead laughing could hurt others there. While the blonde-haired young man swiftly caught Rosaline and asked for help.

Scattering some students approaching, and securing Rosaline. With a knife still full of blood on his hand. Not long ago there was also security from the university who came and arrested Rosaline.

On one side, Elkan was in a panic. He was very confused when the knife also injured Mira. Yeah, not Elkan, but the knife just hit Mira.

Then came the ambulance, and Mira was taken to the nearest Hospital. In the ambulance, the medics had put an infusion first and the antibiotics were injected. However, the Doctor now performs the anesthetic and begins to stitch the wound in Mira's abdomen. It is slightly slanted, almost to the waist.

While Elkan waited outside the action room. He waited anxiously. Elkan was angry now, it felt like he wanted to avenge Rosaline now. However, he had to focus on Mira first.

Until, there was an officer from the police who came and questioned Elkan. Ask how it happened. Will be used for news events and also give punishment to Rosaline.

"How did it happen?" ask the cop.

"At first on campus, he chased me and cried. Then, he took out a knife from his bag. Run and finish it off to my wife," replied Elkan.

"Is there someone else there?" ask the cop.

"Yes, besides the three of us there is a young man with blonde hair," replied Elkan.

"Who is the name of what faculty?"

"I am so sorry, unfortunately I don't know him," replied Elkan.

The policeman said something to Elkan. "He's Marc Cahill, he's at the police station right now and giving his testimony. We have recorded his testimony. Alright, we'll continue the investigation process and please cooperate."

"How's my wife doing, Doc?"

"Luckily, the wound wasn't so deep. We just give you a few stitches. However, patients are still not aware of the effects of drugs. Maybe another hour or two will be conscious" explained the doctor.

From the action room, Mira is transferred to the treatment room. The doctor said, Mira will be allowed to go home tomorrow. It's just, all night must rest in the Hospital. Therefore, Elkan also pushed the gurney and headed to the treatment room.

After ordering many things, now there are only Elkan and Mira in the treatment room. Elkan sat down on the chair in front of the gurney and then began to stare at Mira's still unconscious face.

"Honey, once again I'm sorry. I failed to protect you. I should have been here to protect and look after you. However, now it is precisely you who are injured because of me."

Elkan was really sorry. He is trusted by Papa Abraham, but now Elkan feels he failed to protect Mira. Supposedly, he was more observant and looked at the conditions around him. However, now what happens is that Mira must receive a stitch wound. There was regret in his heart that Elkan could not describe right now.

"Be sober, Honey. I was so panicked. I can't calm down if you're not conscious yet" Elkan said softly.

Even now Elkan was feeling upset, should inform Mira's condition to both of their parents. There was fear because he couldn't protect Mira. However, there is also a sense of guilt for yourself. Elkan finally decided to wait until Mira came to her senses. Later if Mira is conscious, she will ask Mira's consideration to tell her parents whether not.

A few moments passed .. and Elkan was still awake. He had promised himself he would wait until Mira came to a realization. An hour or two was nothing to Elkan. To be sure, he will make sure that Mira will come to her senses soon. Without Mira being conscious, Elkan would always panic.

For nearly two hours, he saw and felt Mira's fingers he now held moving. Mira's eyelids are also moving. Until finally, slowly the eyelids opened. Mira's vision, which was initially blurred, also began to focus. The first object he saw was the ceiling of the hospital which was white and also as if the smell of alcohol and drugs greeted his sense of smell. Instantly, Mira hissed, the memory in her brain reminding her of the sudden pain that came at that time, being unsheathed with that sharp knife.

"Ssshhhs," he hissed with a flushed face and teary eyes.

Elkan knew that Mira's reaction must have been remembered with pain when she had an attack from Rosaline a few hours ago. Then Elkan approached, he rubbed the top of the head to the forehead of his wife.

"Honey, I'm here" Elkan said.

"Sister," the voice of Mira said. He's very scared. It was as if the pain he could still feel to this day.

"I'm here, Honey," replied Elkan again.

"Sick," complained Mira now.

Elkan knew, how being hit by a sharp object must have hurt. However, now she will calm Mira down and hope that Mira can recover soon.

"Hold yeah. He was given medicine by a doctor. It'll heal soon," replied Elkan.

Mira finally nodded her head faintly. The woman closed her eyes for a moment. Trying to remember everything that happened a few hours ago. However, Mira could feel the sharp edge of the blade hitting her.

"I'm sorry, Honey. I should have been able to protect you. But you were the one who got hit by the knife. Sorry, Honey."

Elkan apologized to Mira. He was truly sorry for not being able to protect his wife. He felt disappointed, making Mira now lie in the Hospital.

But Mira shook her head. "It's okay. You are not wrong, brother. I proved to you, I will not leave you. I'll stand beside you. I didn't leave again, when she came," Mira replied softly.

Elkan knew now why Mira was still there. Even though Rosaline had a sharp knife. Apparently, Mira was fulfilling her promise to Elkan. Promise to stand next to him and not run away.

"Thank you so much, Honey. I should have been the one who was hurt, not you" Elkan replied.

The panic point has disappeared. Now, Elkan will focus on caring for the conscious Mira. Besides, Elkan would not apologize to Rosaline. Elkan would report the incident to the campus as well. According to him, what Rosaline did was a criminal act and must be punished.
