إِذَ هَمَّ أَحَدُ كُمْ بِاْلأَمْرِ، فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِنْ غَيْرِ الْفَرِيْضَةِ، ثُمَّ لْيَقُلْ : اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيْرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلاَ أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلاَ أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوْبِ. اَللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا اْلأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِيْ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ وَمَعَاشِيْ وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِيْ (ا َوْ قَالَ: عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ) فَاقْدُرْهُ لِيْ وَيَسِّرْهُ لِيْ ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِيْ فِيْهِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا اْلأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِيْ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ وَمَعَاشِيْ وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِيْ (أَوْ قَالَ: فِيْ عَاجِلِ أَمْرِي وَآجِلِهِ) فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِيْ عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِيْ بِهِ قَالَ : وَيُسَمِّي حَاجَتَهُ

“If one of you wishes to do something, he should pray two rakaats outside the obligatory prayer, and he should say (‘Yes Allah, (, verily I ask Thee for guidance with Thy knowledge, and I ask for Thy great gift, for Thou art in power, and I have no power at all, You know that I do not, and You are All-Knowing of the unseen. Istikharah prayer is a sunah prayer that is done when a person is faced with two heavy and urgent choices. With Istikharah prayer, we will be able to make the right and best choices according to God's guidance.

Indeed, goodness cannot be measured using only limited human reason.It does not have to be seen and can be felt immediately.

This increase is something that is concerned with the distant future, not just for today or the present. Goodness is something of God.
