Aru was grateful that God was still protecting her. After stopping a taxi, Aru rushed to say his home address. He can breathe a sigh of relief when he is in a safe place. He hoped, hopefully Yoda can get a lesson.
Aru searches for the whereabouts of the cell phone and gets it in the bag she was carrying. After opening the lock screen, her husband's name was plastered there. There were dozens of calls from Dirga.
"I'm sorry, Mom. You must be very worried. I'll explain everything after we meet," muttered Aru while trying to contact Dirga back.
However, the call only ended up missed. When looking at the clock on his phone, the time already showed nine o'clock at night. Aru let out a rough breath. He was restless waiting for the taxi he was riding did not arrive.
"Can it be faster, sir? I'm in a hurry, '" Pinta Aru was polite.
"Good, Miss. I'll increase the speed."
Luckily, the streets looked empty. So, it only takes twenty minutes, Aru arrived at the apartment lobby. After paying the bills, she walked hurriedly to her apartment unit.
I hope her husband is home. If not, Aru will seek help from his father. Aru pressed the six-digit code on the apartment door key board. Then, the door was opened and revealed the condition of the room that was so messy.
Aru swallowed the salivary and walked slowly to look around. "Mass? You're home, right?" aru tries to find her husband.
Not seeing Dirga in the living room, he walked towards the room. When the door opens, Aru can see the condition of the room is not much different from the living room. Then in the corner of the room, Aru saw Dirga sitting on the floor while sucking on a nicotine stick.
"Mas! You why?" tanya Aru panicked and grabbed a cigarette tucked between the index and middle fingers of Dirga.
Her husband stared at Aru sharply. After that, it changed with a cold and intimidating look. Aru blinked her nervous eyes. It's like he's back in the past.
"Mass?" call Aru softly because Dirga has been silent since. Aru crouched down and intended to touch her husband's fingers, but Dirga immediately brushed him off.
Of course Aru was surprised. "What the hell are you, Mas? You mad? I can explain everything. It's not what you thought it would be" Aru said, trying to convince her husband.
Ignoring the words of the Wife, Dirga actually reached out her mobile phone that already displayed a video of herself with a man. The video shows Aru's hand held by a man who is none other than Yoda.
Aru shut her mouth in disbelief. Despite deleting her dark childhood video, Yoda still has a way to tear her household apart. Either Aru should be grateful or complain. It's the same as disaster.
"I can explain, Mom. I was forced at that." Aru tried to explain slowly.
Dirga smiled obliquely. "What will you explain? A wife travels with another man who is not a mahram. Especially holding hands. If you're not done with the past, tell me the truth. If you want to go back to him, tell him. Don't make me wait that ends in vain" said Dirga like a dagger that stabbed Aru in the chest.
Deg.
"I can explain, Mom. I was forced by Yoda. I had to do it or—"
"Or what? Or will you lose him forever?" sela Dirga chuckles bitterly.
"I didn't think you'd do this to me. Go out with other men while I'm having trouble picking you up. You don't know my struggle to get to the pesantren this afternoon. Upon arrival there, I knew a painful fact, instead" murmured Dirga again.
"Listen to me first, Mom. Do not conclude before knowing the truth," said Aru so tight in the chest. He wants to explain everything. However, all the words that have been composed, only end in the mind and can never come out to be a perfect embodiment.
Aru's tongue feels faint with a choked throat. She was not trusted by her husband. In fact, Aru also struggled to get back to Dirga.
Aru's shoulders slumped hearing her husband's confession. A sisil? A yoda? Are the two humans working together? Aru stood up and stayed away from Dirga. "Once again, you trust others more. I'm disappointed in you, Mas" said Aru with tears in his eyes.
Dirga stood up and looked at Aru. "I'm more disappointed! Where was the promise you made to live your home life well? Where?! In fact, you're not really done with the past. I've been wrong to love you this big. I shouldn't have given all this flavor to you, '" Dirga regretted.
Aru was eager to hug the burly body that was now staring at her full of wounds. Did she hurt her husband's feelings? Aru shook her head. "I was forced, Mas. I was forced to come with Yoda. I do not know if Mbak Sisil took the opportunity to show you," explained Aru pleading for a little understanding.
The room was filled with the sound of a sobbing from Aru and Dirga. Misunderstandings and over-thinking that make the situation even more complicated.
Long enough both of them were silent until Aru chose to approach first. She intended to touch Dirga's fingers but was immediately pushed aside by her husband. It was painful to get rejected by her own husband.
"Don't touch my hands with your dirty hands. I don't want to." Dirga's words made Aru smile with tears.
The definition of crying while smiling turns out to be so heartbreaking. Things don't really improve with that smile.
Aru looked up, looking at Dirga who actually threw away his face. "We're talking about this all right, Mas. Don't be like this" said Aru trying to resuscitate. Ignoring the harsh words that came out of her husband's lips.
"Then, you want me to accept this betrayal, do you? And accept you again, and then forgive you? You don't know what kind of pain is now attacking my mind" replied Dirga. His cheeks were wet from rain from the eyelid dam.
Aru's heart felt the pain. His cry grew more and more as he lamented the fate that was playing with the ark of his household.
"Listen this all right," said Dirga staring at Aru.
Aru waited for what Dirga would say. He only hoped that Dirga would not be rash in making a decision.
"Today, I'm Dirgantara Mahesa, give you talak."
Like a lightning bolt, Dirga's last words made Aru's life float. Aru closed her ears tightly. Hoping if the word is just a hallucination or just a joke from Dirga.
"I didn't hear anything. And I don't want to hear it. You should know the effect of your words" raved Aru whose body was hollow.
Wanna get angry? But to whom? Disappointed? Sure oes. Dirga decided all unilaterally. Her husband did not want to hear her explanation first.
"I'm fully aware. So, pack your things immediately. I'll give you back to your parents tonight," said Dirga again who made Aru's body balance disturbed. His ears feel ringing. Refusing the reality.
Aru sat on the floor with a roaring heart. "So that's how you say split sentences? Where is your promise that will make me happy. In fact, you promised before Papa and many people, including God. You are the real traitor" said Aru.
"If that's what you want, I'll go, Mas. Hopefully with my departure, your life can be happier. I'm just a burden and a troublesome wife." After saying so, Aru completely packed his clothes.
Stupid Aru who still hopes Dirga will prevent. In fact, Dirga chose to go down first to basemant. As if he could not bear to throw Aru out of his life.
"I hope you change your mind before we get to Papa's house" Aru said staring blankly at the street in front of him. The car drove a few minutes ago.
Dirga is only loyal to his silence. Aru closed her eyes and leaned her head against the glass beside her.
'Oh Allah. Why is everything like this? Why O Allah, ' murmured Aru felt such a deep pain.
