Hijrah Love Arunika

Hijrah Love Arunika
Chapter 41. Four Weeks

A month has passed. Aru just came out of the bathroom after cleaning herself. When the door opened, the figure of her husband was standing in front of the closet. The husband was wearing a batik shirt that was sewn specifically for his graduation.

Aru gave a smile while holding a small object in her hand. Her feet crept closer to the nightstand where her husband's cell phone was placed.

Aru put the little thing on top of her husband's phone. After that, Aru smiled faintly and walked towards the wardrobe to pick up the clothes that had been prepared for the sake of welcoming today's event.

The moka-colored abaya that is so elegant has wrapped Aru's body. Dirga who was in focus concluded the tie, staring unblinkingly. Aru looks very charming using Abaya who has a batik accent like Dirga wears.

"There's no other game, honey? Do you wear this dress is not too pretty?" dirga asked which made Aru chuckle slowly.

"There's plenty. Only, the almost matching with Mas batik shirt is just this, "Aru replied casually.

"Oh yes, Mas. I have a gift for you, on the nightstand," said Aru still focus on tidying up the abaya worn.

"What gift?" dirga asked with a frowning forehead confused.

"Look at me, Mom." After that, Aru walked to the dressing table to beautify herself. Not long after, Dirga's voice sounded again to make Aru's smile wider.

"What is this, honey? Is this not wrong?!" pekik Dirga sounded less trusting.

"That's not wrong, Mom. Hows it? Do you know the meaning of that device?" tanya Aru walked over to the Husband.

It looks clear in Dirga's eyes if the man is very happy staring at a small tool that is often called a pregnancy test. The device shows two red lines that mean positive.

"I didn't misinterpret it, did I? This is a sign that you are pregnant, right?" ask Dirga with teary eyes. Aru nodded in response. After answering so, her body was held tightly by the Husband.

After that, Aru felt a burst of kisses on the temple and the top of his head. As if, her husband was being so happy because of the good news this morning. "Thank you, honey. This is the most beautiful gift from God on my graduation day. This is beyond my estimation" racau Dirga so happy.

Aru also returned the embrace of the husband was not less tight. "Thank you back, Mom. You also struggle in this. We both fought to get his line. Thank goodness, Mas. I'm so happy that our efforts are paying off!" Aru screeched in excitement to express her feelings.

The news about Aru's pregnancy has not been heard until the ears of the parents. Aru asks Dirga to keep it a secret until graduation is over. Intentionally so that parents do not panic and finish the event until it is over.

Mama Kalea and Papa Javas also attended the Dirga graduation ceremony. Until a few hours later, Aru had been sitting in line with both his mother and papa.

Aru is very proud of her husband for getting the title cumlaude. The good news is that her husband got a high and satisfying GPA. Complete is the happiness of Aru at this time.

When he saw Dirga standing on the stage, Aru stroked her stomach gently. "Son, look, Papi you. Mami was sure you would be proud to have a father like your papi," muttered Aru smiling happily.

"What's? What did you say? Mama didn't hear it too much" asked Mama Dita who happened to be sitting next to her.

Aru chuckled to himself then shook his head. "No, Ma. I didn't say anything" Aru replied lying. He couldn't possibly be honest now because of the impossible conditions.

After the graduation ceremony is finished and Aru has checked with the doctor, then Aru will report the happy news. Huh. Aru can't wait for the passing moments.

...----------------...

"Congratulations, your wife is pregnant and has entered her fourth week. The baby is healthy, the condition of the mother is also healthy," explained the obstetrician where Dirga and Aru checked the pregnancy.

Dirga's eyes glazed over at the monitor screen displaying the contents of Aru's womb. The child inside Aru's stomach was still very small. However, Dirga knew that it would be from his son.

Aru shed tears as she felt a gentle grasp on her fingers. His hands felt cold and sweaty. Maybe too happy.

"That's our son, Mas. We will meet in eight months, God willing," said Aru who immediately got a kiss on the forehead.

"I'll give you vitamins and blood-boosting tablets. Please drink regularly yes, ma'am," asked the doctor while writing on the prescription paper.

"Good, Doc. Thank ye. Then, we say goodbye first," Dirga replied as the written recipe had passed into her hands.

"Come, Doc," said Aru as he moved from his chair.

After redeeming the medicine, the two intend to visit the house of papa Javas and Mama Kalea. They can't wait to report immediately.

"Assalamu'alaikum." Dirga and Aru spoke almost simultaneously when they had just entered the residence of Aru's parents.

"Vaalaikumsalam. How was she coming home this afternoon? Where are you guys from?" asked Mama Kalea who welcomed Aru and Dirga.

Aru and Dirga smiled sweetly. After touching the hand of the mother, Aru asked about the whereabouts of her father. "Where is it, Ma? Haven't come home?" asked Aru who ignored her mother's question just now.

"Have come home. Papa you're bathing upstairs. Dita and Sena are also coming soon," explained Mama Kalea who immediately got a nod of understanding from Dirga and Aru.

That afternoon, the three families wanted to give thanks for Dirga's graduation. Nope. More precisely Mama Kalea and Papa Javas who held the event for the Son-in-law.

Papa Sena and Mama Dita are unable to speak because her son is well taken care of by Aru's parents. The next day, he considered Dirga like his own son.

"Have you come, brother?" asked Abi from the stairs. His sister looked fit. Maybe after the shower.

"It has. How's school?" aru asked as Abidzar took a sitting position between himself and Dirga.

"There's no problem. Everything went well. Oh yea. He said, Brother Dirga just graduated. Congratulations, Brother. Hopefully in the future more successful and successful." Abidzar sincerely prayed for Dirga.

Dirga looked at Abi with a sweet smile. "Thank you, Bi. You also have to be successful and be a useful person." He prayed back to Abi.

"Assalamu'alaikum. We're coming!" a voice from the door. Mama Dita and Papa Sena appeared from there.

"Waalaikumsalam," answered all at once. Happiness in the house was increasing when the family came Aunt Kesha. He will also celebrate the graduation that has been passed.

Lots of congratulations and good prayers for Dirga. The man also received many gifts on his graduation day. After dinner was over, everyone gathered in the living room for the warm chatter to last.

"I want to tell you all something!" pekik Aru who managed to make a boisterous state of silence. All eyes were now on him as if full of confusion.

"What do you want to tell me anyway, Ru?" aunty Kesha asked with her forehead and furrowed brows.

Aru looked at Dirga for approval. After her husband nodded, Aru pulled and exhaled before making a sound.

"Aru wants to let you know that right now, I'm pregnant" Aru said loudly. The situation of the room became quieter after Aru spoke again.

"Why are you quiet? I'm not lying" Aru said again.

"Yes. We just checked with the doctor and Aru's gestational age has reached the fourth week." Dirga also explained.

Only after, everyone's smile seemed to be blotted out. "I'll finally have a grandchild!" pekik Papa Javas happy.

Happy cheers were heard, filling the originally quiet room into a rumpus.
