That night Jacob seemed careless in the living room of Alice's house, how not, since they came home from her brother's wedding Alice was still angry because she heard the bet she made with her brother.

Alice wouldn't even talk to him and hide in Marry's room, if there wasn't Marry she might have barged into the room and pounced on Alice.

Jacob seemed frustrated, all this because of his brother and he was wrong, but how did he know Alice heard their conversation?

Jacob rubbed his hair and let out a long sigh, maybe later that night he should kidnap Alice and take her from Marry's room.

Just then his phone rang, feeling lazy, Jacob answered the incoming call from his phone.

"Yes?"

"Jacob's."

"Uncle Billy, what's wrong?"

"I found it."

Upon hearing that Jacob immediately got up to his feet.

"Who?" ask him impatiently.

"Listen to me, I've found Adam Walker's partner." Billy replied from there.

"Ck, I guess uncle has found out who did it!"

"Jacob, he was Adam Walker's partner on duty before Adam Walker was slaughtered. Maybe he's got a lead and knows who Adam Walker was fighting before they slaughtered the family."

Jacob sat back on the sofa, saying uncle Billy entered the deacon. But if Adam Walker's partner found out then why didn't he reveal his partner's death?

"Uncle, who is this guy and tell me where he is?"

"His name is Marcos, since the death of Adam Walker, he quit the FBI and hid himself in a remote place, a distance from here to where it took a few hours to travel." explains Billy again.

"No problem, uncle's coming with me tomorrow to see this man."

"Of course, I hope we can find something from this guy."

"I hope so too."

After turning off his phone, Jacob kept it on the table. He began to think, why did Marcos hide himself?

Jacob looked at Marry's closed room and took a heavy breath, and in the middle of the night he would actually go into the room to kidnap Alice and force her to talk to him.

By the time Marry's door opened, Marry exited the room and closed the door again.

Marry seemed confused not to understand Jacob's intentions while Jacob just laughed softly at Marry's face.

"Remember, don't lock that door, okay?"

"All right." Marry nodded.

After that he passed away to take a drink while Jacob sat back on the sofa, not long after Marry went back inside while carrying a glass of water requested by Alice.

Marry sat on the bed and sat next to Alice, who appeared to be playing with her phone.

"Mom."

"Hmm?"

Upon hearing Marry's question, Alice put down her phone and gently rubbed Marry's head.

"No dear, why?"

"It's okay."

Alice smiled, maybe it's time she told Marry that she was going to marry Jacob. He wants to know if Marry would agree?

"Mary."

"Yes mom."

Alice took her breath for a moment, she had to prepare to hear Mary's answer later. If Marry disagrees then he won't force the girl.

"What do you think if mommy married Uncle Jacob" he asked.

"Mommy wants to marry uncle?" Marry took it seriously.

"Yes, would you allow mommy to marry him?"

Marry shook her head in his arms, worried that Alice would not love him anymore if she were married.

"Are you still going to love Marry?"

"Hey why are you asking that?"

Alice let go of her embrace, looked at Marry's face and wiped her still gently flowing tears.

Marry asked while looking at Alice with teary eyes.

"How about Uncle Jacob?"

"She said she'd love you, now I'm asking you what you've been feeling all this time?"

Marry kept quiet, as long as she stayed with Jacob's father and mother she was spoiled and dear.

Marry let go of her hug and looked at Alice fixedly, she also rubbed her mother's face with her small hands.

"So when will mommy get married to uncle?"

"So you don't mind?"

"No, I know mommy and uncle will always love me so I don't mind." replied Marry confidently.

"Thank you baby, mommy will talk about this matter with uncle later, So?" Alice kissed Marry's face gently.

"We should go to bed soon because tomorrow you should go to school."

Merry nodded and laid herself on the bed while Alice pulled the blanket over Marry.

Before going to bed Alice walked to the door and locked it, after which she returned and laid down beside Marry.

"Mom, uncle outside?"

"Leave it." interrupted Alice quickly. It was a reply because Jacob had made marriage a betting tool.

Marry closed his eyes to sleep, forgetting that if he had to open the door for Jacob and fall asleep as well as Alice, he also fell asleep beside Marry.

But not with Jacob out there, his intention to kidnap Alice in the middle of the night failed miserably because Marry did not open the door for him and unfortunately the door to the room was locked tightly.

Jacob exasperated, tomorrow he will not let Alice escape because he hates such a situation.
