Jacob brought his vehicle quickly, he wanted to quickly pick up Alice because he did not want to make Alice wait for him long.

The distance from Alice's house to her office was quite time consuming especially the crowded California streets at night made her riled.

After arriving, Jacob stopped his car and got out of there. He stepped quickly towards Alice's office but there looked deserted. Where is Alice?

Jacob became upset, did Alice not hear his request to wait for him properly there?

Jacob immediately picked up his phone to contact Alice, he wanted to know where the girl was going.

"Jacob." Alice's voice rang out across the street with her breath hunting from the fatigue of running.

"Hey where are you? Didn't I tell you to wait here all right but where are you going?" jacob asked annoyed.

"I'm at the park not far from where I work."

"Alice, why are you there?"

"Jacob I'll tell you later but can you come here?"

"Okay, wait for me there and don't go anywhere."

After turning off his phone, he immediately walked quickly to his car. Near Alice's office there is a small park for children to play and for residents there to exercise, the park was deliberately made as a facility for residents.

When he arrived, Jacob immediately stepped quickly into the park, there looked dimly lit which only illuminated street lights, even so, it still looks like some people are walking in the park to spend time.

Alice seemed to be sitting on a chair in the garden, her eyes looking far away while her mind floated somewhere.

Upon seeing her lover, Jacob immediately approached Alice and sat down beside her.

"Alice, why are you here? Didn't I ask you to wait for me there?"

Alice turned her face, looked at Jacob for a moment but after that she started to look down while her legs started kicking the snow that was down there.

"Sorry Jacob."

"Hey don't just apologize, explain to me why you're at this park?" Jacob was getting upset.

"Jacob, I had to run and hide here."

"Alice baby, what do you mean run and hide here? Can you explain that to me?"

Before Alice answered, Alice looked at the cypress tree that was covered in snow in front of her and took her breath for a moment.

Jacob grabbed Alice's cold hand and rubbed it warm.

"That guy, like a stalker."

Upon hearing Alice's words, Jacob's jaw hardened with anger. What man does Alice mean?

"Alice, now I want you to be honest with me? What do you mean is the man who has dared to kiss you?"

"Do you think there's another man?" Alice turned her face to look at Jacob sharply.

"Then tell me where did you first meet this man?" Jacob held Alice's shoulders.

"I went to find Becca, so I met her."

"Alice!!" Jacob grew angry and tightened his hand grip on Alice's boat.

Why didn't Alice ever tell him she was going to see Becca?

"Jacob's sick!!" Alice attempts to release Jacob's hand on her shoulder, but Jacob does not release it.

"Why didn't you ever tell me this? Why don't you ever trust me that I'm gonna help you find your family's killer?"

"Why did you go looking for Becca without my knowledge?" Jacob looked at Alice with flames of anger in his eyes.

"Do I have to report everything I did to you? What are all the actions I'm doing I have to tell you?"

"You!!!" Jacob could not say anything.

"You don't feel what I feel Jac! You never experienced what I've been through." Alice began to cry.

"You never know how I feel when I have to see the bodies of my entire family die in front of me"

"Since that night, I've been trying to find my family's killer even though I haven't found the slightest evidence until now." Alice began to wipe away her tears that continued to flow.

Jacob just kept quiet to see Alice, he was still upset that Alice did not believe him until now.

"If you're in my shoes, when you're looking for the perpetrator who killed your family for so long but suddenly someone knows who the killer is, tell me Jac, what are you doing?"

"You're gonna shut up, or you're gonna go look for him like I did to find out who killed your family?" Alice wiped her tears again and looked at Jacob sharply.

Jacob let go of Alice's shoulder and exhaled violently, to be honest he was powerless to see Alice crying like that.

"I think our relationship was Jac's fault, so you better not look for me again."

Jacob was very surprised to hear, what did Alice mean?

Jacob immediately stood up and held Alice's hand.

"Alice what do you mean?"

Alice closed her eyes while her tears continued to flow from her two eyes.

"I'm sorry if I never trusted you, I'm sorry if I always made things difficult for you, so?"

Alice turned her face away and looked at Jacob with tears still flowing from her eyes.

"We broke up Jac!" he said with weight.

Jacob was shocked when he heard Alice's request.

"Alice Walker, how dare you say that!!" Jacob immediately pulled Alice and hugged her from behind.

She won't let Alice get away from him after all she did to get the girl!

"Pull your words back because I won't let you go until you're dead" Jacob said resentfully.

"Why Jac?" Alice held Jacob's arm around her neck.

"Why don't you hate me? Didn't I ever trust you? So hate me and stay away from me." ask Alice again.

"You stupid girl! How many times have I told you that I love you, I love you so much Alice Walker."

"Even if I don't trust you?"

"Well, because you didn't believe me all this time."

"Even if I'm not being honest with you?"

"I'm asking you, have you always been honest with me?"

"So you don't hate me and want to get involved with me?"

"I hate you so much because you don't want to be mine!"

"You pervert!!"

Jacob flipped Alice's body and gently wiped her tears.

"So, don't ever say you want to break up with me again otherwise I'll marry you forcibly."

"I don't want to!"

"If you don't want to never say those cursed words again." Jacob immediately hugged Alice tightly.

"Sorry Jac."

"I'm sorry you called my name so friendly."

Alice buried her face in Jacob's chest and returned the embrace of her lover, it seemed like she could not be separated from Jacob Smith.

"So dear Alice, tell me what kind of man has been bothering you?"

"He had a cold look and a tattoo on his hand" Alice explained.

When he heard that, Jacob's mind was immediately fixed on Lucas Marcelo!

It turned out that this man who had dared to disturb hers, just watch out for her!

"My dear, I'll protect you so you don't have to worry. He won't bother you anymore so, will you trust me this time?"

"I'll try."

"What kind of answer is that?"

Jacob immediately kissed Alice's lips gently.

"Alice Walker, you're the dumbest girl I've ever met and I look stupid for loving you so much." Jacob rubbed Alice's face while a smile expanded on her face.

"So we're a stupid couple?"

"You're the stupid one!"

Jacob immediately**mat Alice's lips while in his heart said:
