Alice immediately got up to her feet as she felt sore from sitting for too long, she walked towards the window and looked out there.

At that time Jane entered the room with other documents, when she saw that Alice immediately looked stressed.

"Ms Alice, it's late afternoon, don't you want to go back yet?" ask Jane.

"Jane, I'd like to finish that one right away." pointing to a document on the table.

"Ms Alice when it's over you should go home soon and I should go home because Andrew asked me to go to the hospital."

"Thank you Ms. Alice." Jane immediately got out of there while Alice sat back in her seat.

Alice immediately picked up her phone which went back to sound, Alice quickly answered the incoming call.

While answering her phone call Alice walked out of her room and walked towards the elevator.

"Sorry, I'll be home soon."

Jacob breathed heavily, did Alice not know what time it was?

"Alice baby, you saw your watch. Do you think it's still noon?"

Alice glanced at the clock on her wrist, her eyes widened in shock as she looked at the clockwork that had already shown at half-seven p.m.

"Oh my God, I'm too serious about working until I forget time."

"Now I'm going to go get you" Jacob said from there.

"No need for Jacob, I can go home by myself so you better take care of Marry."

Alice was astonished, why didn't Olivia tell her this? If she finds out Olivia brought Marry home to her parents, she might go straight home because she didn't want to trouble their mother.

"I'm still in Jacob's office."

"You're crazy!!" jacob shouted annoyed. It's fitting that Alice did not come home from earlier and did not even answer the phone.

"Sorry, I'm doing a lot of work."

"Jacob is not necessary." Alice wants to prevent her lover but the phone connection has been turned off by Jacob.

Alice put her phone in her bag, as the elevator door opened quickly and Alice walked into the lobby.

But what pissed him off was why Lucas was there?

Lucas smiled at Alice, waiting for Alice. He waited at the cafe near the building, when he saw Alice, he immediately came out to approach Alice.

Actually she wanted to see Alice inside there but she knew, Alice would definitely not want to see her so she waited out there until Alice got out of that place.

"Stalker!!" alice said irritatedly as she flicked her hand held by Lucas.

Lucas chuckled and stood next to Alice, but Alice immediately walked away, lest the man kiss her again.

"Hey what if we go eat?" ask Lucas.

"No need to thank you."

"Come on, I'll buy it." take Lucas again.

Alice was silent not to answer Lucas, she hoped Jacob would come quickly. Did he just go home in a taxi?

Alice was about to walk away but Lucas held her hand again.

"Come with me!"

"Hey release!!" Alice held both of her legs and tried to pull her hand with all her might.

"Come on, don't hurt yourself." Lucas still tried to pull Alice's hand.

"Hey I'm waiting for my boyfriend so can you not bother me?" Alice was getting upset, did she just hit?

"Who's your boyfriend? I want to see how good your girlfriend is?"

"You won't be able to defeat him because my girlfriend is a grim reaper!"

When he heard that Lucas laughed out loud, Alice Walker was a very funny girl and to be honest he was impatient to play with the girl.

"If he's an angel of death then I'm the king of hell" Lucas said.

Alice was very upset, she immediately stood up straight and tried to smile sweetly at Lucas.

"Don't bother me anymore!!" Alice immediately ran away from Lucas but Lucas did not give up, she immediately followed Alice from behind.

Alice is really upset, she's going crazy getting involved with Lucas. Without a second thought Alice sped up but unfortunately for him, Lucas' feet were faster.

"Well, I didn't expect you to take me for a jog on this cold night." teased Lucas.

"Damn you!!" Alice stopped her running and tried to catch her breath. If he still has a gun, he's shot Lucas right now

Just try he's still a cop, he's arrested Lucas and put him in jail.

"Will you run away again?" goda Lucas again.
