Alice and Jacob exit the company of Alice's late sister together while carrying some documents that Alice must examine. They walked toward Jacob's car parked in front of the building.

Alice deliberately brought her work home because the girl wanted to do her work at home.

Maybe he can concentrate more if working at home than in the office and after all he is lazy to come to the office every day, so he deliberately brought his work home.

Alice nodded and smiled at Jacob, on a date? They haven't done it yet.

Before turning on his car engine Jacob kissed Alice's cheek for a moment, after which he took his car to dart quickly to arrive somewhere.

Jacob takes Alice to the Venice Canals Walkway, knowing Alice loves tranquility so he wants to take her to enjoy the quiet Canals.

The Venice Canals Walkway

Not infrequently when people hear the word Venice, the first thing that comes to mind is certainly a Venice beach and Boardwalk. But it turns out that Venice is referred to here is the canal. The canal is like a jewel tucked a few blocks from the beach.

In this place there are several bridges that exist along the canal which is used to cross from one side to the other. To support the beauty of the canal, there is a long stretch of pavement on each side of the canal for walking, jogging, and cycling.

The Venice Canals Walkway is just south of downtown LA. These canals were originally built in 1905. Venice Canals Walkway is a tourist attraction that is always visited by tourists when visiting Los Angeles.

When walking on this canal, it will feel like walking into a fantasy film. There are canoes located on each edge of the canal, there are even some canoes have a charming design.

Not only that, every house in this place has its own uniqueness. Everything in this area contains beauty, peace, and tranquility.

That's why Jacob wanted to take Alice there, to relieve the stress of his work that piled up because he could see, Alice's work that was so much and not yet finished.

Surely after this he will help his lover to check every document that exists because he does not want Alice to stress later. Shouldn't he be refreshing, too? So she wanted to invite Alice to enjoy the beautiful canals together.

Standing on a bridge to enjoy the frozen lake view, Alice admires the place while Jacob hugs Alice from behind.

Alice's smile expands on her face, from now on she will love winter again because there is Jacob with her.

She hopes their relationship will continue like that without anyone interfering and she also hopes her grudges are quickly avenged so she can start a new life without being overshadowed by her grudges again.

"Thank you Jacob, thanks to you my day has become colorful again and I don't hate winter so much anymore."

Jacob twisted Alice's body to make the girl face him, Alice smiled sweetly and rubbed her lover's face again.

"Alice dear, I will always be there for you and will always be with you. Whatever happens, promise me that you won't get away from me."

"I promised Jacob, but I hope you don't hurt yourself to protect me."

"Sure, I'll always take good care of you and Marry."

Smile growing on Alice's face, the girl immediately tiptoed to kiss her lover's lips.

"Please promise, if something happens to you just because of me then I'd rather die because I won't be able to see my loved ones die in front of me again."

Jacob looked up when he heard Alice's words, what did Alice mean? Is that the girl's love statement?

"Alice dear, what was your love statement just now?"

Alice blushed in embarrassment, the girl hugged Jacob and hid her face in her lover's field.

"I love you Jacob" he said quietly because he was ashamed to be heard even though there was no one around.

"Oh my." Jacob hugged Alice tightly, he was very happy to listen and this was the first time Alice had said her feelings. It didn't seem like it was in vain that he brought Alice to that place.

"Alice."

"Hmm?" Alice raised her head.

"I love you too."

Jacob lowered his head and kissed Alice's lips gently.

"I know."

Alice closed her eyes as Jacob lowered his head to kiss her lips, kissing affectionately on the bridge over the frozen canals.
