Chapter 83 - The Trial for His People -

All night long Albiru finished by praying to God. The man remained in the Mushola hospital alone, while the parents of Binar waited for his daughter to be kissed.

Albiru was tired of crying, lamenting the bad luck that continued to befall Binar. The man no longer cared about the eyes of the people. All he could do was continue to pray for Binar's recovery.

What Albiru did not realize was that ever since Albiru came to Mushola there was someone who kept paying attention to him. A middle-aged man was now sitting beside Albiru

“Bapak has been watching you since, son.” Hearing the foreign voice made Albiru turn her head and find a shady face that she had never seen before.

"Sorry sir, if I interrupt." Albiru said regretfully.

"No son, it's okay. You've been crying since last night, it's late and you're still here."

Albiru was silent, not knowing what to say. Should he tell her his anxiety.

"I was just in a state of turmoil, so many calamities that came and went." Albiru started the story.

"Didn't every human being have to be tested?" The middle-aged man said calmly.

"Really, Sir. But, I was at a loss to blame who for the cruel fate that befell my wife."

"Son, in every ordeal there is no one to blame. Our duty as His people must certainly surrender and continue to pray to be given fortitude and strength in the face of every trial."

"My wife had to lose her womb because of someone else's negligence. What should I do, sir? I can't afford to see my wife's education."

Albiru again cried, remembering how much suffering Binar received.

"Istighfar, Son. You know how hard the problem you are facing. But don't blame God. Remember that God will not give trials if His servant is not able to pass through."

The middle-aged man patted Albiru's shoulder as if giving strength.

"Son, keep praying to God for the best. Maybe the ordeal you and your wife are going through is the best thing. If you can pass through it, then remember that perhaps your degree is also lifted up by God."

Albiru cried in the man's arms, taking out all the pain in her chest. Albiru forgot the promise that God gave to every one of His people who were being tested.

That night accompanied by an unnamed man, Albiru continued to pray to God for strength in the face of this ordeal.

...****************...

In the waiting room, Ibra's father was sitting alone. Mother Ina was asked to go home and treat sikembar along with Lady Siti.

Ibra's father sat pensively, reminiscing about the cheerful childhood of Binar. Ibra's father felt that time passed so quickly that he wanted to turn back time.

"I'm sorry Dad, Son can't be a good father yet and can't protect you." Ibra's father whispered as if talking to Binar who was still lying weak.

"Dad," the call made Ibra's father turn his head.

There was Albiru who had just returned from Mushola. Albiru decided to return because he felt sorry for Ibra's father to keep Binar alone.

"I'm sorry, Blue left you alone." Albiru said regretfully.

"It's okay, son. I know you need some time to calm down." Ibra's father tried to smile even though his face looked exhausted.

"Sorry Blue, Dad. Sorry because again and again Blue can't keep Binar well." Albiru sat down to apologize to Ibra's father.

Ibra's father immediately pulled Albiru back to sit next to him.

"Don't be like that, Blue. You are not wrong, however, this is an unavoidable disaster. For Dad you're a good husband to Binar."

"What should Blue do, Dad? Blue should how to deal with the Binar later?"

"Blue really felt like he was failing to be the husband that should protect his wife."

"You need to stop blaming yourself. Try to accept all of this with a roomy chest, be a solid backrest for Binar." Ibra's father's advice made Albiru look down in shame.

Right, he should have been the backup of Binar so that his wife was strong and steadfast in the face of this calamity.

"As you did with Mother?" Albiru's question made Ibra's father stunned.

Ibra's father didn't know if Albiru saw everything he did. Trying hard to be a backup for his wife.

"Yes, like Dad did. Maybe other people saw Dad who looked fine, but, they didn't know how broken Dad was." Ibra's father let out a heavy sigh.

"Blue saw it, Dad. Blue saw how broken Dad's heart was. But, I managed to hide it from everyone." Sela Albiru revealed Ibra's father's mysterious smile.

"Which father's heart was not broken saw the trials his own daughter faced. But, Dad tried to toughen up so that Mother did not get worse."

"Dad ... cry. Cry beside Blue, make Blue as Dad's support even if only for a moment."

Hearing Albiru's words made Ibra's father cry. The middle-aged man was sobbing on the shoulder of the son-in-law. Spilling all the tightness in her chest, for this time she gave up and chose to lean back for a moment.

This time Albiru tried to be tough. Let her father-in-law cry as he should.

Albiru knew how her pain was withstanding her chest tightness. For this reason, he chose to be the backup of Ibra's father, enjoying his role as a place of support as it should be.
