"Ehm.." Rey cleared her throat when she got into the supermarket. He could not bear to see Karina's smile that continued to be spread on supermarket visitors. He knew very well the visitor was just teasing Karina and he also knew Karina was not comfortable with the visitor who did not leave immediately plus there was no more queue behind her at the cashier table.

Rey's heart was hot as soon as possible to get rid of the man. He got out of his car and went straight into the supermarket.

"Good night, happy shopping!" Sapa Karina is friendly as if getting a fresh breeze there are visitors coming in when the curfew will end. His male colleague was in the toilet feeling his stomach heartburn, so he had to himself guard the cashier table.

"That's..." Rey pointed at the origin without looking at him for staring at the man who was teasing Karina, and showing the origin made both of them glare in disbelief at what Rey pointed to.

"Isn't... " Karina also did not continue her words when she found out what Rey had pointed to.

"I want that." Rey's words again made inexplicably Karina's gaze sharpen on her and belittle her.

"Are you sure?" Karina asked in a made-up friendly tone.

"Of course, give me two. not four uh.. Ah...arrgh..." Karina who heard the words of Rey who was plin plan was stunned. Rey who suddenly shouted made both of them surprised, the man earlier and Karina.

"W-What's the matter, sir?" Karina asked in surprise.

"Are you still not gone?" Rey asked sharply looking at the man just now coldly.

"Oh... Ah... Uh.. Sa-I've already." The man immediately went to leave the supermarket making Karina also exhale a sigh of relief.

"We're closing now, ma'am?" The voice of the man interrupting from inside the employee room made Karina and Rey suddenly turned to look at the young coworker Karina.

"Sorry, I guess there are no customers." The young man seemed to feel guilty because Rey's position was covered in a display rack of goods.

"You're going home now?" Rey is no longer formal.

"You mean sir?" Karina asked not understand why the man who was a former business partner of the company where she worked first asked her informally. They're not that close.

"I'll wait outside." Rey is full of intimidation and does not want to be denied.

"Flame..." Karina wasn't done talking but Rey just left.

"What business are you looking for me for?" Karina asked pleasantly because Rey had been silent about nothing just staring at the coffee order and sipping little by little as if enjoying her coffee time.

"Why didn't you come?" Rey asked looked up at Karina with her flat face. Rey put down the coffee.

Now they both sit in a cafe not far from Karina's apartment.

"Company XXX. Didn't you get an interview call there?" Obviously Rey without further ado.

"Oh... Ba-how... Ah... Aren't you the CEO of company XXX? Ah, I guess we've got no business anymore because I'm not working at the old company." Karina said, Remember Rey.

"You really didn't come?" Instead of answering Karina's statement, Rey asked the same thing as at the beginning.

"Sorry before... I have never submitted a job application letter to the company. And I think that phone call was someone who was trying to cheat on me." Karina replied firmly. He did not know what Reynaldi's motive was to meet him, even though he was no longer working at the ABC company, a company that had worked together by involving him there.

"So you think I'm a fraud?" Rey asked, looking hard at Karina, not liking Karina's words.

"Eh.. Mean an.... Ah, so you called me?" Karina asked as if she was starting to understand Rey's question from now on.

"Yes." Yeah."

"But isn't your company in need of new employees?"

"Who said that? I'm gonna keep you, I know exactly what you need and don't." Answer Rey firmly.

"Meet me there tomorrow! Tell Reynaldi to ask you to go there." Rey's words firmly stared at Karina sharply even though that wasn't Rey's main reason. She was too nervous to face Karina and therefore she acted like she was working, flat and cold.

"Flame..."

"There is no objection. How foolish is the man who fired an almost perfect employee like you." Rey said again making Karina's face reddened in shame because of the praise of the man before her.

"Eh..." Rey pretended to sip again the coffee that began to cool down.

"Let's go home!" Take Rey suddenly stood up from her seat makes Karina flutter because of Rey's invitation to go home.

"Sa-I can go home...." Uncompleted Karina spoke, Rey's sharp gaze made Karina's guts shriek.

"Bright sir." Reply Karina finally stood up following Rey's step out of the cafe.

How can I easily say, am I not yet an employee? But he said it like I was his employee. Inner Karina was raging feeling confused herself.

Rey secretly smiled faintly feeling her plan had managed to get close to Karina.
