An awkward atmosphere was created at the dining table. Bryan sat down by his mother's side opposite Karina. Rey sits to the right of the Arowana sitting in the chair of the family head. Ambar sits to the left of Arowana facing Ambar directly. Bryan's eyes did not come off Karina who made Karina feel guilty and hot with Bryan's sharp gaze.

"Eat!" Said Rey while giving a favorite side dish of Karina, fried flour shrimp that made Bryan's fingers clenched to see Rey's attention to Karina as if mocking her if she knew anything about Karina besides herself.

"Eh.. Thank you." Thank you." Karina replied that she also felt awkward to be noticed by Rey.

"It's all auntie's cooking, you know auntie's cooking has always been delicious." Praise Rey looked at Karina full of longing no matter the reaction of the people at the dinner table, especially Bryan felt hot and jealous to see the affection of the couple in front of him.

"really?" Karina replied with a smile despite being forced. He avoided Bryan Yangl's gaze as if piercing his body. Karina herself was also surprised to see Rey's attitude that was so romantic even resembles a bulol.

"Please continue! I'll go to the room first!" Pamit Bryan could not bear to see the drama of the newlywed couple's romance.

"Where'd my sister go? You didn't intentionally avoid me, did you?" Rey's words that struck Bryan's heart stopped his steps.

"Sorry, I just got home from work. I want to cleanse my body first. Don't worry, I'll be back when you're done with dinner." Bryan replied with a forced smile. Rey as long as she knows Bryan never a little talk or greet Bryan who always approached her first trying to familiarize himself with Rey, but it seems only responded coldly by Rey.

"Good! I still want to familiarize myself with you sister." Rey's words sounded full of insinuation. Bryan did not answer to go straight from the dining table to his room to make Karina a little relieved by it.

Karina didn't have the slightest taste for food after all that. Even he was just stirring up his food only the food Rey had given him that he had eaten.

"You want me to bribe you, baby?"

"Ohuk.uhuk.." Karina immediately choked on hearing Rey's lembult speech.

"Be careful, baby." Said Rey while patting Karina's back slowly. Karina's cough subsided a bit due to choking. Not only Rey's gentle demeanor but also Rey's affectionate call made Karina startled and choked.

It reminded Karina of the affectionate call that Bryan said when they were still lovers.

"It's like you don't have a taste for food, you just eat the food I give you, I think you want me to feed you." Rey's statement not only made Karina surprised to choke but also the two parents so they felt also no appetite, especially when Bryan was also at the dining table earlier.

They realize that Bryan still has feelings for Karina. Ambar just fell silent not like to see the face that made him hurt was there now. If only they knew who Rey was going to marry, she would have stopped him, but it was too late.

Dinner was over, they sat on the sofa in the living room. Rey was speechless sitting on the sofa containing two people with Karina sitting by her side.

"I-I went to the toilet for a minute." Pamit Karina stood up from her seat.

"Want me to take you, baby?" Rey's words made Karina's face flushed with embarrassment.

"I-I can be alone." The two old men just silently stared at them without interrupting. Rey undoes her intention to tell the location of the toilet when it was wrapped around Karina already heading to her place as if she had come to that house.

"Good." Rey replied with her flat and cold face back making the two old men stare at each other looking at Rey's changed expression.

"Thank God, forgive me for not being able to come to your wedding." Mouthful Arowana, said,

"I don't intend to invite you either."

"Rey!" Ambar interrupts Rey's harsh words towards Arowana. Rey only glanced sharply at Ambar who was yelling at him. Arowana immediately clasped his wife's hand to not fuss about it. And it did not escape the gaze of Rey who just smiled grinning.

"I'm sorry papa." Said Arowana did not want to make the relationship of the two worse.

"You're supposed to ask your father for approval who you married Rey to?" Ambar chose to give in by lowering his tone.

"Should it?" Said Rey in a sinsi tone.

"You must not choose your wife, either" Ambar said,

"Ah, since when should I ask permission, aren't you usually indifferent to my affairs?" Rey replied with a tone of ridicule.

"Rey, Karina's not a good woman." Ambar said, not giving up.

"Why do you think that?" Rey stared intently and coldly at Ambar who dared to comment on his wife.

"The woman is not clear of her origin, who can guarantee her a good woman."

"Haha.... " Rey's laughter sounded jarring in the living room.

"It's none of your business even if he's your ex-employee, you don't know who my wife is. So, don't have the right to forbid me to anyone I marry." Rey said in a cold tone.

"Sorry.. A long time.." Karina arrived after Rey finished her speech and stood up from her seat now.

"We go home first!" Pamit Rey holding Karina's handcuffs before Karina can sit back.
