Bryan opened the door to the rude CEO's room without excuse. After leaving the HRD room Bryan immediately ran to the office cafeteria to look for Arowana but he did not find it in the canteen. From what he knew when he asked one of the employees who happened to cross Arowana had already returned to his room on the tenth floor.

Without any more ba bi bu Bryan immediately ran to the elevator to get to the tenth floor where the CEO workspace was located.

And this is where Bryan now goes into the CEO room that already has Arwana there looking up at Bryan who came with gasping breath.

"Did papi know?" Bryan asked with a breath that was still a little dull looking at Arowana with a sad look of hope.

Arowana stood up and sat down on the sofa near her desk.

"Sit down!" Pinta Arowana after a long sigh. He had already guessed what he wanted from Bryan's current question. He himself could also tell that this matter would definitely be known to Bryan sooner or later.

Bryan was still silent, calming his breath. Staring at the deep Arowana who looked calm as if he already knew that this would happen. Bryan chose to obey and sat quietly on the sofa closest to him standing at this moment, facing Arowana who was sitting on a single sofa.

"Which one do you want to know?" Arowana asked after the two had long been silent staring at each other until Arowana again sighed violently.

"Everything." Firmly Bryan because he knew Arowana would not talk if no one asked him directly whatever it was. Although Arowana knows what anyone behind her is doing, Arowana will wait in silence and start performing if she is needed.

"Your mom loves you very much. You can't blame your mom entirely. Papi also contributed to make a mistake for not preventing it." Clearly Arowana paused her words while sighing deeply.

Bryan was silent still digesting and chose to wait for the continuation of the Arowana story.

"It's not just Karina's social status that makes your mom not approve of your relationship but more of a more personal one." Arowana looked at Bryan seeing his son's reaction.

"Is it because of Karina's face that resembles that of papa's deceased ex-wife?" Bryan's question made Arowana startled and looked at Bryan in shock.

"You know what?"

Bryan nodded his head confidently rubbing his face rough. Guilt enslaved him, everything that happened to Karina was all because of her fault. It was wrong of him because he loved the girl too much. He was now more and more convinced, ending his relationship with the girl was his right choice. Otherwise, he didn't know anything reckless about what he was going to do to Karina.

Even her mom was able to do anything to the lowest point of people ever making a mistake. And now her mom is targeting Karina just because of their linked feelings.

"Is papi that weak to protect Karina?" Bryan asked, looking at Arowana coldly made Arowana show her guilty look.

"Maybe papi is too stupid to love your mom so he can't do it for the woman he loves." Arowana's answer struck Bryan's deepest heart. Even he felt stupid and guilty for being late to protect the girl he loved. But now he will try to forget it for the sake of him being happy out there.

Bryan stood up to make Arowana confused because it was just silent and stepped towards the seat where Arowana was sitting earlier.

"I borrowed the papi chair." Pinta Bryan who doesn't need answers doesn't.

"You okay?" Arowana asked still staring at Bryan.

Bryan focused on looking at the laptop to quickly learn about the project that was a challenge for him in order to prove that he deserved and was able to serve as the CEO who replaced his papi.

"Yes, I'm fine." Bryan replied in a flat and cold tone no matter who he was talking to at the moment, her heart is in a state of turmoil and she chooses to flee by studying the project because in her mind is determined to seek power above all else to protect her girl so that she can later get it without any hindrance though from her mom.

Karina herself is getting used to and able to become a professional secretary like most secretaries. But he's upset sometimes Rey gives orders beyond reason and as good as he wants.

As now, Karina is busy making breakfast or rather supplies to be taken to the office for breakfast Rey who told her to prepare breakfast every day Karina's own cuisine. "Mr Rey!" Karina said she could not believe the person who had appeared from the window of the luxury car. Not only surprised by the luxury car but more to the surprise of seeing Rey driving her own car without a driver.

"Ck ck ck call my name if you two!" Rey protested in annoyance.

"Sorry sir, that's impossible." Answer Karina politely. He is still aware of who he is dealing with. Bops in the office. He's a little traumatized with people with high power and the rich.

"Want me to cut your pay?"

"Sir, you can't do this to your subordinates." Karina said in protest.

"It's an order!!" Rey firmly makes Karina silent not wrinkled.

"What are you doing here?" Karina asked to switch the conversation. Rey looked upset again.

Is he really not that smart? Inner Rey was still staring at Karina who was just showing her innocent smile waiting for Rey's reply.

"I have business around here. Quickly enter!" Rey's word does not want to be denied that Karina wants to refute but Rey's sharp gaze makes Karina's guts again shrivel because all Rey's orders are absolutely indisputable. Karina got into the car sitting next to Rey who was driving her car.
