Karina was preparing breakfast that morning. Although there was a maid who had been hired by her husband, but Karina wanted to prepare breakfast for her husband. Karina herself is ready with a shirt and skirt under her trademark knee as a secretary. Only the blazer is not used. Rey was preparing in the room after waking up from her sleep.

Karina's phone that was placed on the nightstand next to the bed rang making Rey who was tidying her hair on the mirror of the dresser glance at her. At first Rey was indifferent to giving his wife confidence that whoever contacted must be a matter of work. And Rey didn't suspect a thing. Until the phone dies and doesn't ring anymore, Rey stays indifferent.

But again the phone rings again and it makes Rey a little curious. Who calls his wife in the morning like this. Moreover, his wife had five days off and forced to work because it was almost finished his period made Rey relented and allowed the origin not too much work.

When he saw the new phone number on his phone screen made Rey frown in wonder and look and think a little if he had the same phone number.

"Darling!" Rey exclaimed to call his wife gently as he moved down the stairs to the kitchen where his wife used to spend at home.

"Yes mas?" Kernyit Karina saw her husband carrying his phone ringing, but not yet raised dead again making the two look at each other and twitch Karina's shoulder expressed an indifferent sign with who contacted her early in the morning.

"Who?" Rey asked after he thrust out his wife's phone and received it. Karina puts her shoulder to shoulder not knowing, she doesn't feel like she's waiting for someone to call.

"New number?" Karina said like a question of who.

"New fans?" Sindir Rey does not like, he often finds new mobile numbers into Karina's phone when it's a mobile phone office facilities not Karina's personal mobile phone.

"Either... Maybe..." Karina said her phone was ringing again and she turned to look at her husband as if asking for approval. Rey immediately glared at sitting on the dining table chair.

"Hello!" Karina greets kindly in her call making Rey scowl dislike, especially Karina's tone sounds friendly and polite even her smile looks sincere with enthusiasm makes Rey curious who is spoken to.

"Oh sure, sir."

"Oh yes... How about lunch later?"

"Oh of course, I'll tell him."

"Yes? By himself? Ah... L am... Got to ask my boss's permission first, is there another job." Karina glanced at her husband who was looking at her sharply because his wife seemed to be agreeing to a lunch appointment with someone. And Karina really couldn't resist either, moreover no one knew her superior was her husband.

"See you." Karina hung up her phone and sat down on the dining table chair to get food for her husband even though her husband's face was pouting dislike.

"Who?" Karina just stared and continued her breakfast. She did not want to make her husband's mood bad until it ended up undoing her intentions for breakfast that had become their morning routine.

"Can we talk after we eat?" Pinta Karina looked at her husband's face with a look of innocent eyes expectantly making Rey just speechless feel anxious with his wife, let alone for almost a week he had not touched his wife who was like an opium.

"Hm." Although upset, Rey is unable to refuse the request of his wife who increasingly looks beautiful and adorable.

"Thank you dear." Karina replied cheerfully as she continued eating but Rey immediately turned her gaze to any direction feeling her face heat up and her ears reddened. Fortunately his wife did not notice him if she saw him Rey would be more embarrassed.

"Is your boss always late?" Asked the man while glancing at his watch feeling annoyed.

"What's this?" Rey asked seeing the commotion in front of her room, Rey looked coldly at Aldi with curious eyes. Aldi immediately nodded in salute to his superior. Karina stiffened her body recognizing the voice that was on her back.

"Oh finally brother came too." Bryan said full of his sweet smile because Bryan was famous for his friendly youth since childhood. Bryan looked at Rey and glanced at someone by her brother's side although his gaze was more on his second arm which looked friendly to anyone who saw him.

Bryan looked at the arm and turned to look at Karina nanar who chose to lower her head avoiding Bryan's direct eye gaze.

In the past, my arm was held in such a friendly manner. But now, I'm the one who sees without being entangled again.

Bryan's mind raged inside his chest that felt tight. The love and longing that filled the space of his heart made Bryan again relieve him by turning to look at Rey who looked at him sharply and did not like it. Rey immediately turned to his wife because the sister continued to look at him with a look of adoration but the look of longing was clear but Rey only dismissed her bad thoughts.

"Darling, come in first, I want to talk to my sister alone." Say Rey in a soft tone even though at the end of the sentence is full of emphasis. Bryan was surprised to see the affectionate and attentive attitude of his brother to his former lover made Bryan feel a throbbing in his chest.

His brother who always showed a flat and cold face and sometimes even full of hostility to him and others now show it to the woman, his wife who is also his former lover makes Bryan astonished also furious, but he can't do anything. Their relationship must be forced to run aground because of the blessing of his parents when little else he can have the power to fight for their love.

"Oh yes." Karina replied slightly stammered and released her wiggle on her husband's arm. He still did not stare at Bryan's face only nodding his head in a sign of respect. Bryan stared at Karina completely unwilling to look at her face again.

Shouldn't I be angry?

Why did he seem to be angry at me and avoid looking me in the eye?

Bryan's inner self follows the direction Karina went to enter into the same workspace as Rey's workspace.

"What's wrong?" Rey sarcas asked no friendliness towards his sister even though it was a half-sister.

"Can we talk casually?"

"This office is not a place to relax." Sindir Rey made Bryan speechless to hear his brother's sarcasm. Since first meeting, Rey no sweetness when faced with him instead looks like an enemy only.

"Aren't you going to politely welcome your guests?" Challenging Bryan finally chose to be formal because Rey also behaved the same. Rey frowned in wonder to see her stepbrother changed instantly in front of her, whereas her stepbrother always smiled even though he was flat and cold to her. But Rey only fell silent choosing to follow Bryan's game.
