Chapter 11's

Silent night accompanied by the sound of crickets, Varya looks out her window. The sky was filled with stars. If only the star could be plucked then Varya would.

Varya still can't sleep even though it's late at night. He wants to enjoy his last night at Astra to be lost because tomorrow morning he is ready to leave for Ferlya. Actually the reason he also did not sleep because of his anxiety as well.

He would travel a considerable distance and that was where his enemies were. Lying if Varya is not afraid, she still has her cowardice. But, Varya wants to live. It can't drag on with that fear. If it was a little wrong he stepped up, his life would have been lost.

The sound of knocking on the door made Varya aware from her daydream, it was indeed an impolite thing to knock on someone's door in the middle of the night. Varya ignores that for tonight, because there is indeed someone she is waiting for. It's late anyway no one knows who entered the Princess's room at midnight.

"Please forgive me for interrupting your rest time Your Majesty. I would like to report that our preparations are complete" Finix said.

"What about the bodyguards?"

Varya also handed over this trip to Finix to lead the guard force completely. He believed that the man would definitely do his best for it.

"alright. You can go Finix. You've been working so hard late into the night, get your energy ready for our long journey tomorrow" Varya told the tired-looking Finix.

Varya also seemed unable to force herself, she had to rest as well while being able to sleep on her soft mattress. Varya then went to the table and took a medicine and drank it.

"Your Majesty, do you continue to consume it?"ask Finix worried.

Since meeting with Dirto, Varya has continued to take drugs made by Finix. He drank it when his feelings began to fidget and when he could not sleep. The medicine was now only five grains out of the original number of thirty.

From a distance Finix stared at the warm scene, envying the warmth of the family. He doesn't even know what his name is family. As he was engrossed in his thoughts, a hand touched his shoulder. Finix turned around and saw who it was.

"You?"

"Yes bo-eh commander" the man chuckles when Finix sees her.

"Have you forgotten what I said? Call me commander now, again you're wrong said you return it! You understand Rey!" Rey who was still grimacing just gave her thumb.

Finix then realized that he also had family in his guild. He gathered the people who lost their place and direction of life to his guild. Although their work is dirty, they also know about loyalty in friendship. Finix was grateful that his subordinates were always there for him.

"Commander, thank you for taking us with you. We've never done a task together, so we'll try to feel a bit less of a burden on you" Rey said excitedly.

"of course. If you're a burden, I won't choose you" Finix replied, making Rey laugh. Their conversation did not last long as Varya had already announced her departure.

Varya and Finix then board the same train. Finix is on the train to keep Varya closer in case something happens to her here. Varya is also bored if she continues to be alone on her journey.

As they begin their journey, Varya has a stack of books on the train. He picked up one of the books and read it. Finix who only noticed the girl did nothing. He does not want to disturb Varya who is cool in his world.

Finix looked out the window, they were a lot through the places in Astra. The train was speeding up, shortly after which Finix heard the sound of a closed book.

He saw Varya put the book back in her place, and the girl closed her eyes. The journey had just begun but he felt sleepy. Seeing Varya sleeping while sitting with her head bobbing, Finix decided to move the books. Then sitting next to Varya, he tilted the girl's head with his heart to her shoulder. It seemed that Varya was so asleep that she was unaware of what Finix was doing.

It seems like this is also one of the effects of the drugs consumed by Varya. It is easy to get sleepy on the trip. Finix hoped the girl would not take the medicine again. He looked at the face of the girl beside him. The girl was so beautiful, not wrong with the rumors that circulated many people who wanted to be her lover because of the face that could not be expressed in her beautiful horn words.

Suddenly Finix felt an unusual heartbeat from him. He touched his chest, he didn't know what these symptoms were. Is he maybe sick? Her thought. The thump grew even tighter as he stared again at Varya's face. It's strange, he's never felt this feeling.

Confused, Finix decided to close his eyes for a while so that his heartbeat returned to normal. I hope nothing happens to him.
