Varya was pensive in her bathtub. He was digesting the incident they had experienced last afternoon. Attacks on the border of the Astra area are unexpected, because in the past life there was no such thing. He had also been to Ferlya with Dirto at the time but no attack had happened to them.

Finix says it was the robbers, but Varya suspects that they are a man. Who would dare to do that to him? If it was Dirto, he couldn't have let Varya in now when Varya wasn't going to see him.

Remembering Finix, Varya's face blushed. He remembered how he hugged the man tightly. Ah, Varya is so embarrassed now. Where she put her dignity as a princess, was truly shameful.

Varya immediately came out and called the servant she had brought from the palace. They help Varya dress up and dress up. Varya then goes downstairs to dinner.

They arrived in the afternoon at a small inn. Varya decides to rest here and continue the journey when the sun rises. And here Varya is now at the dining table filled with food. It didn't make him happy because Finix was just standing behind him.

About 30 minutes Varya finished with her dinner. He returned to his room after parting ways with Finix. Varya then calls the waiter to replace her dress with a nightgown.

That didn't take long. Varya immediately threw her body onto the bed. Although this is a small inn but the quality of the room and service is not in doubt.

Varya was sleepy now her eyes closed slowly. As he wanted to enter his dreamland, Varya opened her eyes again upon hearing the sound of screaming.

He quickly woke up and looked for the origin of the sound. Varya went to the balcony and opened the door. He looked down there invisible to no one. Is this just an illusion? Why didn't anyone come out when they heard that scream?

Or maybe it's a ghost? Now the book I'm sitting on Varya stands. Are ghosts really in this world? Varya wants to go inside and go back to sleep. Before he turned around he suddenly saw a green-colored radiance from the forest behind the inn. The light is small not too visible if we do not see it carefully.

Out of curiosity Varya immediately took the cloth and closed the top. He immediately came out of his room where no one was there.

"Your Majesty!"the voice of someone who made Varya stop her steps.

"I want to see something."

"Something? At this hour? Very happy for a girl to come out now"

"Calm down. I brought my dagger" Varya lowered the dagger she was holding.

Finix took a long breath. What he wondered about the stubborn girl in front of him.

"alright. Let me accompany you"Varya nodded and gave her consent to Finix.

They then went out into the forest that Varya had designated. Finix is on standby with his sword even though he now only uses a white shirt. They also did not forget to bring lanterns. The forest was very dark, Finix advised Varya to hold his arm, so that Varya would not be separated from him.

They continued walking until they found the green glint. Varya and Finix immediately approached there, and they were surprised by what they found.

It turned out that the light came from the pendant of an unconscious girl from there. The girl seemed to have fainted with injuries on her body. Varya immediately told Finix to take the girl to the inn.

When he returned to the inn, Varya called the waiter to contact the nearest doctor. Then Varya also told the waiter to clean the body of the girl who had red hair.

"It looks like he was a slave who managed to escape His Majesty. I heard information from my subordinates that there was a carriage carrying many humans stopping not far from this inn." Obviously Finix after finding out the information.

"Is that train still there?"

"I've already told someone to check on His Majesty" Varya seemed to be thinking hard now.

This girl looked familiar, she seemed to have seen her somewhere. Red hair is a rare color. Varya has to figure this out, she might be able to take advantage of the opportunity that comes her way like this.

The doctor then came to check on the girl who had not opened her eyes. Varya waited carefully for the results of the examination.

"Your Majesty, this girl was only shocked by the incident she had experienced. The wounds on his body can heal I will make the best medicine for his Majesty" the Doctor said. Varya understood it seemed like the girl was very depressed by what she had experienced.

Varya orders Finix to deliver the doctor back. The doctor's house is also far from here. Varya doesn't want anything to happen to her.

Varya looked at the girl's face, she had a pretty face. If he was sold as a slave, then many would buy him. However, this girl was so lucky to escape that she reached the dark forest.

"Come conscious soon. And tell me who you are. Does fate bring us together in this life as enemies or allies?"
