Chapter 08's
"Akh!" Varya grimaced in pain as Finix applied the medicine on his injured palm.
It's been 2 weeks Varya's been practicing swordsmanship, though it's not routine. But Varya was already able to hold the sword properly with the result of a hand full of small wounds.
"I think today we will get here, Your Majesty. We will practice again when your palm has improved. It's not good for this beautiful hand to hurt even deeper" Finix said as he closed the medicine box.
"I actually still want more, it's nothing for me. But I don't want to worry my parents later" Varya looked at her bandaged palms.
He had told Finix to get a cure that was fast. Varya doesn't care how expensive she's going to buy it. But he did not expect even Finix who concocted the drug itself, the man said that he often made the drug when he was injured and the results were really effective. At first, he was just testing himself.
Varya is grateful for that, he did not choose the wrong person. Varya would definitely give the black-haired man a fair wage later.
"His Majesty did the King and Queen not ask about your wounds?"
"No. I haven't seen them yet. We were busy with each other's affairs, there was a time when we had met at the dinner table. Varya had prepared a plan which would make him the real heir to the throne. And that would also be the reason for the breaking of her engagement rope. This plan is very risky because when this plan fails then Varya will also lose all his efforts and work.

"L-MOM!" Shouted Varya when she found the Queen who was in her room.
Didn't he just hope not to meet his parents? Now the goddess of luck was not on his side. Fortunately, Varya wears white gloves, so the bandages are invisible.
"Varya, why are you just coming home now? Are you too busy with Lady Frod?" Ask Queen.
Varya tells the waiter that she went to Bella's residence today. When he came out he sometimes did not say where, today he used that excuse to avoid suspicion. Varya has also asked Bella for help to take care of it.
"Ah, we forgot a little mother's time. I'm sorry for making mom wait." Says Varya with her lies.
The queen then told Varya to sit with her first. The queen then laid her head on her lap, leaving Varya a little surprised.
"My daughter is this big... Are you still lonely now, son?" Queen asked while stroking Varya's long hair.
"How can I be lonely? My mom and dad are with me... I always get your affection which sometimes many people envy see. Mom know? I'm so lucky to be born a Mother and Father's daughter."Varya felt as if her tiredness was gone now.
Mendapatkan hal seperti ini benar-benar membuatnya bersyukur bisa mengulang waktu lagi. Cinta orang tuanya tak bisa menggantikan apapun di dunia ini. Maka dari itu Varya betah untuk selalu berada di istana walaupun tanpa memiliki teman.
"Don't you have your love too, son? Which will not make you lonely, which always makes your day excited" Varya smiled wryly at that.
"That's.... Mom, my feelings changed over time. I realized that there was no affection he could give as much as you gave me. I also realized I couldn't have a relationship with this feeling of motherhood. L'm... Will marry the one who will see myself as his life partner, not as a tool to give birth to his offspring." explained Varya, the Queen momentarily silent and smiling.
"If that's your choice, do it, son. We have no reason to let our adult daughter force her to do what she doesn't want. My crybaby daughter is an adult now, you must be going through everything in life baby" Varya woke up, then looked at her mother with teary eyes.
"However, if you feel tired of all your problems. You can run into mom's arms, just like you were a little girl..." The queen smiled gently, able to make Varya unable to hold back her tears.
