I Love You, Uncle

I Love You, Uncle
Chapter 2

“Are you nervous, Clara?” ansel asked as he looked at his niece who could not stop squeezing the end of her school skirt.

The wavy long-haired girl turned her head towards her foster uncle, then nodded. “I'm afraid that I can't do things well,” reply Clara and sigh long.

Today is the first day of Clara's graduation exam. The science that Clara had been looking for for the past three years would see results after she successfully passed the graduation exam. The girl was feeling very nervous not because she was unsure of her abilities, only that she was afraid that she suddenly forgot about the materials she had learned last night.

“No need to worry, Clara. I'm sure that you can do everything well. Have you not always been a champion in the class?” ask Ansel.

“I know, Om. But ...”

“But what?”

“Murid other students must also study harder for this exam,” said Clara. “It feels very scary because I feel that this time my rival is getting heavier.”

Again Ansel chuckled amusedly. “Not to be afraid, Clara. Although your friends are also studying hard, I am sure that you will succeed.” Seeing the nephew who looks still very nervous, Ansel then corrects his words, “Begini, if you are nervous, you do not think who will be champion one. Just think about how you should finish the exam well.”

Clara nodded her head, agreeing with Ansel's words. However, when he tried to do as Ansel instructed, he got even more dizzy.

“I'm getting nervous, Om,” said Clara.

“Hm ...” Ansel rubbed his chin, thinking of ways to keep Clara from getting nervous again. “Om has an idea. How about you close your eyes while taking a deep breath. Just think that the only ones in the exam room are you and the supervisor. You don't have to be afraid of having a rival or not being able to do things. You have to think that you are the only one who is the best.”

Clara closed her eyes, imagining what Ansel was saying. He did not forget to take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Slowly but surely, the nervousness he felt gradually disappeared, replaced by the confidence that filled his mind.

“We have arrived,” said Ansel, disperse the reverie Clara. “Are you still nervous?”

Ansel waved his hand then gestured to Clara to get the girl excited. After that, Ansel drove his car to his office.

The man works at a plantation company. He is currently serving as chief director in Anton's place. When Ansel first took over the company, a lot of people doubted his ability because he had just graduated high school. However, eight years later it was proven that Ansel could lead a company and even make the plantation company grow faster.

If only Ansel's parents were alive to this day, they would be proud because Ansel not only managed to run the family company business wheel, but also the family, but Ansel also managed to raise his adoptive niece until she grew up to be a very clever and independent girl.

It is true that people say that behind a disaster, there will certainly be good things that can be picked. And Ansel realizes that much he has been feeling after the deadly accident that took the lives of Nia and Anton eight years ago. Because if it wasn't for that incident, maybe Ansel wouldn't be as strong a person as he is today.

Upon arrival in his study, Ansel was surprised by the presence of Ridwan who had arrived first. Ansel squinted his eyes, then greeted his best friend.

“Tumben you early in the morning already in my work space,” said Ansel.

Ridwan. “Finally you came too. I've reached the banquet for waiting for you, Ansel!” grouse Ridwan.

Ansel. “How many centuries have you been sitting here? If you can't wait to see me, you should have picked me up at home,” Ansel said. “Thus, right, I don't have to bother driving a car.”

“Damn it!” umpat Ridwan then laughed crisply. “When I don't want to tell you about a news story, I definitely won't come to your study early this morning.”

Ansel frowned, confused by Ridwan's intent.

“What news do you want to tell?” ansel asked and sat down in his big chair. The man started to turn on the computer and check some of the incoming e-mails.

“Yesterday there was a guy who shot Clara at school. Mira said, anyway, in a very romantic way,” said Ridwan. He hears the news from Mira, his sister-in-law who is none other than Clara's best friend at school.
