Ansel who got a cold response from Clara felt disappointed. He did not expect that Clara would still be cold to him even though they had not met for years. ‘Did you not miss me, Clara?’ ask Ansel inwardly.
Although disappointed, Ansel remained calm. The man then took the girl he was carrying into the car. In the car, don't forget he introduced Clara to the girl.
“Clara, introduce. This is Delia, my lover,” he said.
Clara looked at him with a big smile. “Ah, nice to meet you, Delia. I hope your relationship lasts and you get married soon. I'm happy because finally there is a woman who can make my uncle fall in love,” Clara said kindly.
Hearing Clara's words, somehow Ansel's heart felt very painful. The man seemed to want to scream if this was not what he wanted. Somehow she doesn't like Clara agreeing to her relationship with Delia.
“Clara, it's okay, right, if I take Delia home first we just go home?” asked Ansel while glancing at Clara from the rearview mirror of his car.
“Hm, it's okay,” replied Clara briefly then looked back out the car window.
Earlier, Clara refused to look ahead because the scene in front of her was really unpleasant, namely her uncle who let Delia continue to wrestle spoiled in his arms. Ansel didn't even seem to mind if he had a little trouble driving because Delia kept sticking to his arm. This of course made Clara feel upset but she chose to remain silent. After all, Clara had no right to be angry, right?
“Clara, nice to meet you. I hope we can meet again next time,” Delia said, then get off the car.
After Delia entered her house, Ansel glanced at Clara. “You don't want to move sit in front?” tawar Ansel's.
Clara shook her head, then turned her gaze the other way.
Seeing this Ansel could only sigh and then return his car to their residence which was not too far from Delia's house. It only took thirty minutes for them to finally get home.
Before getting out of the car, Clara looked out. The girl glazed over because she felt that she had not set foot in this house for a long time but nothing had changed except the color of the house paint. The atmosphere around the house is still as beautiful as ever. The flowers and plants that he used to plant with Ansel also thrived there.
“Clara, let's go down,” said Ansel while tapping the car window. The man deliberately went down first to retrieve Clara's suitcase from the trunk.
Clara wiped her tears, then got out of the car.
Clara smiled softly and thanked the welcome given by the servants and also their house security The girl then went inside the house after one of the servants helped her to bring her suitcase in.
“Clara, you rest first. Later if dinner is ready one of the waiters will call you,” said Ansel. He knew Clara must be exhausted after a dozen hours of air travel.
Clara nodded, then went to her room.
Time rolled until dinner time arrived. Clara, who has been resting and cleaning herself, is now enjoying dinner with Ansel. The atmosphere felt so awkward because between the two of them there was not really a conversation. Even if Ansel invites Clara to speak, the girl answers him only with a short answer.
“I want to stay alone in my parents' house after this,” Clara said suddenly, making Ansel stop his chewing activity.
The man forcibly swallowed his food while putting his cutlery on the table. “What do you mean, Clara? Didn't you stay with me in this house all this time?”
Clara nodded. “It is precisely because of that. I am now independent and mature. I can do everything myself without having to rely on anyone including you, Om.”
“Clara, Om disagree.”
“I didn't ask for approval from Om. I just want to express my wish. After all, it's not good if we stay together. I'm not a kid anymore. People will definitely talk about the no-no if I stay in this house together with Om,” explains Clara.
“Om won't let you stay alone. Don't worry Om, Clara. If anything happens to you how?” ask Ansel.
Clara grunts. “I'm an adult. Om can't ban me anymore,” said Clara firmly and then put the tableware.
“You think—”
“I'm full. I am tired and want to rest,” said Clara then got up and left the dining room without listening to the continuation of Ansel.
