"Good morning, are you one of Amanda's family?"

Rayhan then exhaled his long breath.

'I'm fine.' Rayhan murmured then turned his body around.

"Good morning Vallen, I'm Amanda's lawyer" Rayhan replied with a smile.

"Ka.. You you? Aren't you in London?" vallen said with surprise.

'Oh no.' murmured Vallen in heart. It felt like he stepped out of the room but circumstances required him to stay in the room to check on Amanda.

Rayhan smiled as he nodded his head.

"Yes, I was ordered by the late Om Raka to be Amanda's lawyer. The late Om Raka was papa's good friend, I would be very sorry if I couldn't help him, so I decided to return to Indonesia."

"Oh. How are Inara and the baby in her womb?"

"Well, they're all healthy."

'Gosh, why do I have to meet with him again, so after this it is likely that I will often meet him.' Vallen murmured inwardly.

"I met with Firman yesterday at Om Raka's funeral. Didn't he tell you anything?"

Vallen nodded.

"Please."

Vallen moved closer to Amanda. When going to do an examination, how surprised Vallen was to see Amanda who was still holding Rayhan's hand.

"Rayhan, can he hold your hand?"

"Yes, since yesterday he has been able to do that. He can also blink his eyes."

"Yes, since yesterday afternoon, I've also been talking to Brother David when we met yesterday."

"So David's brother has also met you?"

'Why does the Word never say that?' vallen murmured inwardly while holding back the resentment in his chest. Seeing the look on Vallen's face, Rayhan smiled.

"Are you jealous because I said that?"

"No." replied Vallen while holding back the resentful feeling in his heart.

"Vallen, there's actually something I want to ask you. It's about Amanda."

"Yes why?"

"Yesterday, Brother David had told how Amanda was really, about the heart-weakening drug, also about the previous obstetrician who had conspired with Abimana."

"Then?"

"As Amanda's lawyer of course I want to drag them into the legal path for harming and even endangering someone's life."

"So you asked me to help you find evidence from those doctors?"

"Yes, please help me to get additional evidence if they cooperate with Abiman's conspiracy behind Amanda."

"Sister David told me to do that too but lately I've been a little busy, then yesterday I was sick so I haven't had time to re-investigate. But I promise that from today I will investigate again. I also want both doctors to be punished for violating the professional code."

"Yes, she really is a poor woman" Rayhan said as he looked at Amanda with a sad look.

Rayhan then looked at him with a smile.

"You never change, you're still as weird as you used to be."

"Hahahaha, excuse me Rayhan. I've had appointments with some patients, they must have been waiting for me. Later if I get additional evidence, I'll call you soon."

"Yes Vallen, thank you very much."

"Yes" replied Vallen then walked out of Amanda's treatment room.

Rayhan stared at Vallen's departure with a feeling that was so raging, his chest felt so tight and his heart seemed to be sliced.

"He can treat you better, Vallen?" rayhan said as he shed his tears. Without Rayhan realizing, Amanda released her hand and a drop of tears flowed down her face.
