Last Page Story of Shabira
16. Engagement Event
One week has passed, today is the day Shabira and Austin will be engaged. All the invited guests had gathered in the event room, the MC on duty had also occupied his position since a few minutes ago. Apparently, Antonio Lawrence is giving a greeting to the invited guests. Now only Austin and Shabira have not appeared in the middle of the small stage.
Backstage, it appears Shabira is already preparing to board. Knowing her daughter was feeling nervous, Mama Shinta calmly clasped her hands. Channeling a similar calm, so that Shabira can get through the engagement tonight. "Are you ready, baby?" tanyakanya.

Now Shabira is walking with Mama Shinta next to her. The beautiful girl was already wearing a luxurious white dress, just like her Mama. Against the direction, it appears Austin is walking with the Papa. The two men were wearing tuxedo suits that were so neat, clinging perfectly to his towering body.
A series of activities will be carried out, now Shabira is standing right in front of Austin. The handsome guy looks more handsome when viewed from a close distance. "Never expect anything more from this engagement, because it's not what you think it is" Austin wrote. His gaze was still looking forward, seeing all the invited guests who were none other than relatives and employees in his Papa company.
"What did I think? If you do not want this engagement to happen, continue to do you agree with the wishes of Papa lo!" shabira's reply was equally shrewd. Until now, Shabira did not know what the real reason Austin accepted this matchmaking. All he knew was that Austin was only forced to accept the engagement.
"Honey, congratulations on your engagement. Hope you guys can stay married later." Mama Shinta smiled happily, hugged Shabira then switched to hug Austin.
"Thank you Mah" Shabira replied with a sweet smile. "Where is Justin's sister Renita, Ma?"
Shabira circulated her gaze, since entering earlier, she did not see the presence of Justin and Renita there. Yesterday, he had heard the conversation in his room. Renita says she doesn't want to come to this engagement. Shabira understood, after all, Austin was the guy that the girl liked.
"Renita was in a hotel room, she said she was not feeling well. Justin said he wanted to meet Renita first, afraid she was why-why. You don't know if they're not here?" ask Mama Shinta.
Shabira forced her smile, even though she wanted to show off the ring on her ring finger to Renita at this time. Unfortunately, the girl had already launched the action, pretending to be sick so as not to see this engagement event directly. Okay, this time Shabira's trying to understand. Though the truth is, he was eager to avenge what Renita did to him one week ago.
Because of Renita's actions yesterday, Shabira and Papa Antonio's relationship is a little stretched. Renita did deliberately report what Shabira did when she was with Dion at school. The perfect score that Renita got contributed to make Antonio angry. As of now, Shabira doesn't even know, the real reason Papa Antonio is so obsessed with Shabira's school grades.
"Honey, if you're tired, just sit down first. Let Mama and Papa welcome the guests!" Mama Shinta turned to look at her daughter-in-law. "Austin, please help Anterin Shabira sit down!" her door.
Austin just nodded, then grabbed Shabira's hand and took her off the stage. The guy deliberately stepped his legs slowly, to make it easier for Shabira to walk in her big dress.
"Ish is so cold!" shabira said, annoyed at Austin's attitude that has not changed at all.
"Who told me to put on that shirt" said Austin, releasing his handrails.
Shabira was only able to shout inwardly, despite actually wanting to vent her frustration. However, all he did now was stare at Austin with a look of dislike. "Keep lo, what am I wearing? T-shirt?"
"Who said?" he asked Austin, looking back at Shabira. "Rather than a T-shirt, mending you wear a crocodile costume. That's a lot better for you!"
"The ant!" pissed Shabira.
"Where are you going?" Shabira prevents, seeing Austin suddenly leave her.
"It's none of your business!"
"Help me!" shabira Pinta.
"Relieve it!"
Shabira gave a loud snort, Austin's answer was still the same as usual. "Ish very nice, no care very much with me! Was I really left behind? Goddamnit! Good thing handsome, uh!"
Without both of them knowing, actually Renita had already noticed the behavior of the two. The girl's hand was still clenched, her gaze shooting sharply at Shabira who was now trudging along where Austin's steps went. Actually he was lazy to attend this engagement event. If it wasn't for Justin forcing her earlier, Renita would have fallen asleep by now.
"Until when will I continue to be? No, I can't give up, no matter how Austin should be mine. I'm even more entitled to a matchmaker with Austin than Shabira! Everyone knows that I'm Papa's son and Mama's son!"
Renita sharpened her hearing. He will still try to take Austin from Shabira. At first, he almost chose to step down, knowing Shabira and Austin would be engaged. However, he again abandoned his intentions, after a few days ago, he accidentally heard the talk of Papa and Mama in the workspace.
