After seeing Charlotte calm down, Leo began his conversation. He explains to Charlotte that the traitor and mastermind behind all of this are three people, Clara, Lyon, including himself.

“You, Clara and Lyon?” Charlotte still finds it hard to believe this.

“This is the reality Charlotte. For me Jadon is a very careful person. I don't hate him at all, but he died in someone's hands,” Leo said.

“Leo, tell me did you kill Jadon?” Charlotte asked to be sure.

“I have no reason to kill him. From the beginning I thought you guys were just a bunch of people who had absolutely no intention of becoming murderers. Unlike me, I will finish off everyone who stands in my way. That's why I'm reluctant to take off your mask because I don't trust you at all.” Leo explained.

“More precisely I don't trust anyone,” Leo continued.

Charlotte herself isn't sure if Leo is the mastermind behind all this. But as Leo said before, he does not yet have the determination to be a killer.

“Leo, you're younger than me but somehow you're like the father figure I've been craving all along. You are firm and have a clear purpose. You're like a more mature person than you are. Who are you, exactly?” Charlotte looked at Leo with questions.

“I have no right to tell you Charlotte. You don't deserve to know anything about me.” Coldly Leo replied.

Charlotte shed her tears and lowered her head. In his heart he felt Leo was the first person to behave naturally to him. Her heart felt a pounding sensation for the first time as a woman and it made Charlotte determined to be next to Leo.

“Leo, I deserve to know all about you. I want to help you..” Charlotte looked at Leo's cold face changing after hearing his words.

Leo's eyes widened and his face looked shocked. Charlotte who saw this was surprised, but after a few seconds Leo looked at her even colder than before.

“I don't want in my life this time there's betrayal. I've felt this pain before and it makes me want to get out of life. I just want to be saved and you must be just like all of them Charlotte, you will betray me.” Leo choked the neck and lifted the body of the girl.

“I'll kill you.” Then Leo released an aura of magic that was so dense.

“Le... Leo... I just want to save you..” Charlotte smiled warmly and made Leo let go of the clutches of her hands.

Leo felt the emptiness and darkness that existed in him filled with warm feelings. Maybe since his first life, Leo wants someone to listen to all forms of depression and suffering. He needs someone who is there for him.

But Leo never thought there would be such a scenario in his life. Leo could tell Charlotte said honestly and sincerely, all that made Leo fade the urge to kill Charlotte.

“Let me go Charlotte. Don't you realize your chest is touching my face?” Hearing Leo's words immediately Charlotte's face turned red.

“Leo!” Charlotte pushes Leo's body as hard as she can but it has absolutely no effect on Leo.

‘He can I use. If betrayed, I can kill him easily.’ Leo said in his heart and then he explained to Charlotte that he was going to meet Nereid.

“I'll come with you Leo,” Charlotte said.

“No, you'll just burden me.” Leo answered coldly.

“What I will do after this is a steep road full of blood. You don't have to dirty your hands like I would.” Leo reminded Charlotte.

“I've decided Leo. I will continue my fight even if all of them in Neptune are no longer in line with me.” Charlotte said with determination.

“Charlotte, I don't hate you at all. But you're weak. Even you can't beat me, the one who is two years younger than you,” Leo said testing Charlotte's resolve.

Charlotte smiled faintly. At Carta Academy he was always flattered for his strength and cleverness, but in front of Leo all that was completely meaningless. This Charlotte who occupied the second seat of the Nine Elite Carta was not an arbitrary magician and was a talented genius and Leo was completely unaware of it.

“I know what I have to do Leo. So can you allow me to fight with you?” Charlotte hopes Leo will accept it.

“You know the answer, right? No.” After saying so Leo disappeared from Charlotte's sight.

Charlotte feels resentful because it's as if Leo is rejecting her. While Leo hurried to meet Nereid, Charlotte chose to return to meet Clara and Lyon.
