L A 17 - Mercurius and Venus

Charlotte and Nereid are looking for Leo. The two did not expect Leo to leave them both without saying a word.

“Leo...” murmured Charlotte.

“Are we just going to be his burden? Why can't he trust me?” charlotte said.

Nereid learns of Leo's intention to leave because Leo tells him. Seeing Charlotte, Nereid diverts the conversation and asks Charlotte to act according to her own plan.

‘Leo asked me to do this and I want to make sure if you can answer all my expectations, damn it!’ Nereid sat down and remembered Leo's orders to him.

Charlotte understands Nereid's words and begins to focus on continuing the plot to coup King Marcus Floral.

“I will do things as you wish without bothering you Leo.” Charlotte said before leaving the hideout.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Floral Capital, Leo was observing magic troops gathered in one place. Leo came here because he got some information from some people on the way to Neptune's hideout.

‘The location I found. I think they hid an explosive magic scroll in the warehouse over there.’ Leo deepens and sharpens his sense of sight.

Just as Leo was about to enter the crowd of magic troops he was startled by the extremely dense magic aura from the sky. Leo felt two huge amounts of magic aura plunging down at high speed.

What Leo saw was a woman riding on a fiery eagle. It was likely that the fire eagle was formed from a magic aura. Not far from the woman saw a man who was plunging down towards the crowd of magic troops.

Leo, who was intending to approach the crowd, abandoned his intentions and chose to observe. He saw some magic troops aware of the whereabouts of the two people and directly pointed their weapons, namely the bow up.

“Infuser! Intruder!” shouted one of the soldiers.

“Thank you weapons! Looks like they're both Neptune members!” yell at the others.

About two dozen people took up their weapons and attacked the man who plunged down. As their fire arrows flew upwards, the man shouted and instantly the sound waves that made the eardrum seem to be breaking echoed.

Arrows fell and the man descended to smash the building below. A wide grin was seen on the man's face when he realized he was under siege.

“About capturing the mastermind who controls Neptune by killing villagers. You think we'll let him?! A ruler should protect his people not get rid of him!” The man gave off a huge amount of magic aura after saying so.

Then the man hits the ground and what happens takes Leo by surprise. The building that houses the explosive magic scroll was destroyed as well as the location around the man.

BOOM!!!

The explosions echoed loudly and everything around Leo was destroyed. The ability of the man is not playful and does not joke in terms of destroying.

“Cih! He's totally crazy!” leo and managed to avoid.

Leo thinks the man is suicidal and at least severely hurt by his own stupidity, but what Leo discovers is unexpected.

The man was still standing upright with a wide grin as if nothing had happened. As Leo watched him, suddenly the man's gaze stared at him.

Leo felt a bad premonition and yet he had time to think about his actions, the man smiled widely and immediately flew towards him at high speed.

Moreover, the man can manipulate and use magic aura so well that he can fly and harden his body.

“There are still people alive!” The man focused the magic aura on his right hand then looked at Leo sharply.

“You..” The man was surprised because it turns out that the person he felt had been a boy, “You are a boy. Then your abilities... You who?”

The man did not continue his actions and looked at Leo alertly. Leo did not answer but was silent because he felt no need to answer the man's question.

“Looks like you're not lucky. Anyone who saw this incident must be killed so as not to cause trouble in the future.” After saying so the man attacked Leo.

Leo who was already in the form of half a Phoenix also used Xeon's body hardening magic technique. But while fending off the man's blow, Leo felt the bones of his right hand crack even the man's movement speed was unable to match Leo.

Leo's eyes widened when he realized this fight was unfavorable for him. Leo realized all this because he could not copy the technique the man used and it had already proved that the man had abilities far above him.

“My name is Mercurius Flamesky, boy! At least you remember the name of the person who will kill you!” The man introduces himself in the middle of the fight while showering Leo's body with a punch.

Leo gave off a magic aura that was much larger than before and it made the man called Mercurius smile.

“Mercury! Stop this crazy act of yours!” The woman riding the fire eagle rebuked Mercurius loudly.

“This boy does not seem to be the one involved with the magic forces of the Floral Kingdom!” The woman argued.

Mercurius stopped attacking and said, “I understand, Albedo. Depending on the answer I didn't kill him.”

The woman approaches Leo and asks him for Leo's identity. This leaves Leo with two choices, to tell his true identity or to show himself as the mastermind controlling Neptune.

“Child, my name is Venus Albedo. I came well to ask. I suggest you answer honestly otherwise I will kill you.” With a soft voice that sounded scary, the woman called Venus said.

Leo took out the demon mask Charlotte gave him and put it on.

“You can call me Ghost or Neptune. I was the man behind the Shardptera crash and I have Leo's real name. Only Leo.”

Mercurius and Venus were silent. The two stared at each other before Mercurius smiled and rubbed Leo's hair.

“Okay, from now on I will call you Neptune,” said Mercurius.

“Mercury... You..” Venus stared at Mercurius sharply. This white-haired woman felt an uneasy premonition.

“So Leo from now on you are a Galaxy member. No, I mean you have two choices. Join Galaxy or die here.” Mercurius's swipe at Leo's head stopped.

“Haaah?!” Venus did not believe Mercurius' words.

“So how's Neptune?” ask Mercurius.

Instantly Leo felt his body extremely heavy as Mercurius's hand stroke stopped.
