A few days after Leo lived his life as a student of the Carta Magic Academy, Leo was able to blend in with others even though it was difficult to get along with everything.
Even when discussing the class representatives who were about to take the Spring Exam, all of them were arguing and no one was willing to budge in support. Everyone wants to take part as a representative except Leo and a teenager named Galadriel Tripier.
”I, Leo and Galadriel! These three representatives are enough in my opinion!” jennie.
”Hah? It's just from your point of view! I am the one who deserves the ticket for this exam!” sahut Karen's.
”You two think only you are interested?!” Maya is arguing.
Catherine who saw this sighed before clapping her hands once to keep everything quiet.
”Good. Why do you like noise. Some of you should have given up. Have you never heard the saying that a sane man relents?” catherine.
”Teacher, I never said that before,” says Maya.
Catherine only smiled wryly as her words just now also she had just said. Then Catherine stood up and asked all of them to take the Spring Examination.
”This year is special and three qualified class representatives will attend the Winter Tournament.” Catherine explained.
”This exam will be attended by all academy students including the Ten Elite Carta. You have the opportunity to take a seat from the best students in this academy.” Catherine added and got everyone excited except Leo.
”Leo, as Class Leader, Teacher is very hopeful of you. Minimum of you in the top three and maximum champion.” Catherine gave a heavy burden to Leo.
”The Spirit of the Class Chair,” said Eva while laughing softly because Leo looks upset.
”Leo, it seems like Guru is hoping for you,” Lopez said.
”She just intentionally toyed with me.” Leo sighed before preparing to take the Spring Examination as a first-rate representative of the academy.
In contrast to the previous year, this year's new students were looked at one another by second and third grade students. For Leo it was not a problem, he was in this academy because he wanted to meet his sister Lea. No less or no more.
But Catherine's interest in Leo made the teenager have to live his life in the Magic Academy Carta became heavier because of his burden as Class Chair.
The Spring Trials which will be held in a week are the test for the best class ranking. By hunting Magic Beast or exterminating the Devil, the disciples would compete for many points.
And this is what makes some students ambitious to reach the top and cheat. Three days before the Spring Trials, Kudela and Lopez were seriously injured in a fight with a second-grader that left both of them receiving treatment.
Knowing that Galadriel was at the scene made Leo ask his classmate.
”Leo, I suggest you not interfere with this matter.” Galadriel reminds Leo.
Galadriel smiled cynically and held Leo's shoulder tightly.
”You average value want to stop me? I never protest because you're a calm and quiet person, yet you seem to care about the weak people around you.” Galadriel violently pushed Leo's body to its knees.
Leo let Galadriel go and sighed because lately he could hold back his anger.
’Class rating is very influential with personal value. I myself want to not care, but seeing them fight this hard, really pisses me off.’ Leo sat up while standing up.
”Why are you holding back? Of all the students I saw you had an aura almost identical to that of the Headmaster and Saturn-Sensei. With this power of yours you can even fight with Catherine-Sensei.”
Leo was surprised as the beautiful girl with a cold gaze looked at him. The pointed ears and long silver hair made the girl's charm very difficult to approach even the first time the girl spoke to Leo.
”You... Jinan Leafa?”
”What you say-”
”You can't lie to my eyes, Leo. You may be able to lie to others but not to me.”
Knowing that Jinan was no ordinary girl like the others, Leo looked at her coldly and threateningly.
”So what will you do after knowing all that? Are you going to tell them?” said Leo.
”It all depends on you. After you get home meet me in the Advisory Room. There's someone waiting for you there.” Jinan left Leo after saying so.
’That girl is dangerous. I can't underestimate his ability.’ Leo finds out that Jinan has a special eye but does not expect Jinan to hide it.
After returning home Leo went straight to the Advisory Room and there was already Jinan waiting for himself with a girl who was taller than Jinan and had a strong aura.
”Jinan, is he the one?” said the girl.
”True, Sister Lechia. My eyes cannot be lied to. I can see a terrible aura from him.” Jinan replied.
”Enter. Queen is waiting for you inside.” The girl allowed Leo to enter the Advisory Room.
Leo immediately went in and found an adult woman sitting at the table enjoying a drink and staring out the window.
After Jinan and the Elf girl closed the door, the adult woman who was an Elf snapped her finger. At once Leo was in a room that was all white and could not use his magic aura.
”I can't let an intruder live. The situation in the Carta Continent is being so chaotic. Sooner or later the people of Bahamut will come. Are you their spy?” The mature woman stared coldly at Leo and made Leo's body sit down without a fight.
”First, introduce yourself and speak honestly if you want to live.”
