UNEDITED

Two weeks have passed since I fainted in front of Devian and he never showed up again. May this continue so that I am not always haunted by the terrible events of five years ago. My relationship with Mas Abram is also getting closer. Even tonight he invited me a restaurant themed rooftop kitchen on Jalan Setia Budi. The atmosphere here is very warm, accompanied by green plant decorations that make the eyes relax.

“What's up, Mas?” ask me after putting down the glass that has just been drunk. Abram looked very agitated, once he fixed his seat.

“Where? Food good?”

Head nodded. “Enak, according to the price.”

Abram held his seat. “Keiy,” call him.

“Why Mas?”

Abram swallowed his mouth. “Since seeing your photo in Lala's post, Mas has been interested. And Mas wants to invite you to have a serious relationship with you. Are you ready?”

I admit that I feel a little surprised, even though I guessed. Several times Mas Abram has said it, although on the sidelines of jokes. Actually I could have just said it right away, because I like it too. He always made me feel comfortable. But this sense of insecure always bothered me. If Mas Abram knew of my past, would he still want to have that serious relationship? And if he doesn't have a problem, what about his family?

“You don't need to answer it now. You can think about it first,” continued Mas Abram when I did not respond. “Did Lala tell you she'll be engaged in a week?” ask Abram, divert the conversation.

“Already Mas, this afternoon he said it. He feels very enthusiastic.”

“Hopefully this time he can get to the wedding, unlike before,” Mas Abram said before entering the fried rice into his mouth.

“Amin,” my prayers chimed. Then I stood up. “Mas, I went to the bathroom for a while,” said I was immediately replied with a nod from Mas Abram, my bladder felt full. I exhaled a sigh of relief as I exited the door of one of the toilets. I wash my hands in the sink while paying attention to my appearance. My lipstick is still visible though a little faint. These few days, I do get a little dressed up if I want to meet Mas Abram, even if only by polishing thin lipstick.

“You Keiysa, right?” ask someone when the toilet door behind me opens, revealing a beautiful figure with an elegant and stylish impression.

I looked at him from the mirror in front of me. The surprised look I can't hide.

“I'm Clara. We met a few weeks ago.”

“Mbak his friend Mas Yudi, right?”

“Iya,” sahut Clara nodded. “Do not call Mbak, just call Clara or Cla.”

“Who are you with, Cla?” The question was not just a pleasantries, but I really wanted to know the answer. Because if Clara answers if she's with her sister, then I have to get out of this restaurant. I've been feeling very comfortable and peaceful without meeting Devian these past few weeks.

“Sama SMA friends, there is an event—” suddenly the sound of ringtones cut off Clara's speech. He reached into the bag, picked up a cell phone. “I first Keiy. Later we chat again,” he continued before putting his phone to the ear and walking towards the door. “Why Dev? You came, right? Other friends have asked you.”

Listening to their conversation, I hurriedly walked out of the bathroom and hurriedly towards my seat. “We go home now, yuk Mas!” I said as I put my phone on the table in the bag.

“But our food has not run out,” said Mas Abram who seemed reluctant to leave. “What happened something?” now he has a worried face.

“I forgot that I promised Bukde Rini tonight. He got a big order and I promised to help him,” my reason alone.

Abram was disappointed. But he still agreed and intended to take me to Bukde's place. I immediately refused, forcing him to drive home, giving supplies if there are items to be taken first.

I turned my body left to right in front of the mirror, making sure I had a neat appearance in a knee-length plain white dress, and also slightly improved my ponic order. Tonight I will attend the engagement of Lala and Andomeda, accompanied by Mas Abram who specifically invites me to come together.  It is undeniable that I was feeling very nervous, reminding Lala was Mas Abram's cousin and that the engagement must have been attended by their entire family.

“You look so beautiful,” praise Mas Abram.

“Thank you,” sahutku. I'm sure my cheeks show a red tinge.

“We go now?”

I replied with a nod, then immediately locked the door and walked in unison towards Abram's motorcycle. Along the way, we talked to each other, we once joked. I enjoyed a simple moment like this, hoping to continue. I even decided to answer Mas Abram's request a week ago. I'm willing to make a relationship that is more than this friendship.

Thirty minutes passed, finally the motorcycle we were riding stopped at a simple blue-painted house. As he approached the door of the house, a middle-aged woman came over and smiled at Mas Abram.

“Ma, know this Keiysa,” said Mas Abram after they had a short conversation.

I reached out and the woman returned my words. “Keiysa Tan.”

“Ayuk goes inside, soon the event starts,” invite Mama Mas Abram.

“Kak Amila is here, Ma?”

“Maybe in a moment,” replied Mama Mas Abram. The middle-aged woman stopped in front of the middle room, right next to the door of the room. “You guys sit here only. Mama's going to the back for a second.

I obediently sat down, and so did Mas Abram. Guests who come not much, maybe only a close family. Suddenly my phone rang, I hurriedly reached out from my handbag as several people seemed to be looking at me.

“Ya La?” I said when our phone call was connected.

“You so come, Keiy?”

“I've been at your house.”

The door behind me suddenly opened, revealing Lala's already beautiful figure with a red kebaya. “Keiy, get here!” call him, tell me to go into the room.

Through my eyes, I asked Mas Abram for a moment's permission to go to Lala's room and he replied with a soft nod.

Lala hugged me right after the door closed. “I'm so nervous.”

“All must have gone well. You have prepared carefully,”, I said calming.

“And may you and Mas Abram quickly follow yes,” Lala said with a teasing smile.

I only replied with a small ruckus. We talked for a while before I decided to return to my seat. But Abram was not there. My head was shaking while sitting. I also tried to reach him with a chat.

“Keiysa?” someone said.

My head looks up. I tried to remember the waist-haired woman in front of me. “Mbak Amila?” I said make sure, realizing that we had met in the city park.

“You know each other already?” mas Abram's Interpusi.

“He's Keiysa that you often understand?” ask Amila.

Mas Abram agreed enthusiastically, in contrast to Amila's look a few minutes ago, which now shows dislike.
