"Why did you go home alone? Where's your husband?"
Gia turned to the source of the voice, sure enough it was Arga's voice.
"I can take the car now. No need to drive anywhere I want!" Gia answered lightly while forcing a smile.
"That's no excuse! You have a husband should be your husband who takes you anywhere!
"I said it's none of your business, Ga!"
"Yes, if he doesn't want to anterin you anywhere, let me! Where's key?" Arga asks but he has pulled the car keys without permission from Gia's hand. It makes Gia confused herself.
Arga pushed Gia's shoulder gently and pointed her towards the passenger seat on the left. He even opened the car door for Gia to enter there. Then, he turned to the steering chair and entered to drive Gia home.
Gia looked at the man who was already sitting beside her with a confused look mixed with amusement. What else will Arga do this time. Gia shook her head slowly to expel what she had in her mind.
A moment before the car walked, Arga glanced at the silent Gia looking at him with a confused look. Arga smiled obliquely.
"Use the seatbelt first!" Arga instead put on Gia seatbelt, making Gia awkward because Arga had time to stare at her eyeballs intensely for a few seconds.
"ehemmm" Gia cleared her throat to break her awkward mood, and Arga seemed to come to a realization and continued with his original purpose, pairing Gia's seatbelt.
Slowly the car moved and walked through the streets.
"Do you know my address in Jakarta?" Gia asked because she didn't hear Arga ask her address.
Arga nodded faintly. But a moment later he asked for Gia's home address. After being told by Gia, Arga was a little surprised, her forehead wrinkled as if thinking of something.
"Maybe they've moved, when I was in Germany!" Inner Arga.
°
It was getting dark and the night journey was silent, no one wanted to start a word and open their voice. Gia and Arga dissolve in each other's minds.
"Ga!"
"Yes?"
"Say you went to Germany?"
"His word? Says who?"
"Kata Reza."
"Oh, there's business there."
Gia mangosteen sign understand. He occasionally glanced and intended to ask further but hesitated.
"Gi?" Now Arga's voice asked Gia.
"Hmm?
"What else do you want to ask?"
"he? uh, e-no!"
"Related?"
"Yes"
"Yaudah"
Silent...
"Gia!"
"Why Ga?"
"Why if you like it first, you're free to tell me about you, and then I'll tell you about me!"
Gia sighed softly before saying.
"Ga, i..."
"Why? what are you gonna say?"
"Ga, was that woman your wife?"
"You're curious about that apparently?"Arga grinning.
"Java Ga!"
"Okay okay, I'll answer all your questions. In exchange you also answered all my questions. Deal?"
Gia nodded doubtfully, but her curiosity led her to say,
"Deal"
"Well, did I start first or did you?" Asked Arga, his eyes occasionally glanced at the woman beside him, but remained focused on the road.
"That's your wife, isn't it Ga?"
Arga was silent as if thinking.
"Yes, that's my wife." Arga smiled towards Gia. While Gia cast a glance at Arga's eyes. Gia decided to look at the street in front of her.
"So you anter me, won't he get angry?"
"Yes, don't!" Replied Arga with confidence.
"Yes I am angry back! As if he just let you go back and forth alone. Who are you, anyway? If his wife is being taken!" Omel Arga's.
"Hmmm"
"I can't you?"
"Hmmm"
"Gi, have you ever missed me?" arga's voice was suddenly soft but piercing.
deg..
Gia was flabbergasted by Arga's question. What else is this. Why Arga's question is about feelings. Gia thought Arga would ask about her household or her daily life. Or at least ask Erick. Gia had guessed and composed a written sentence to answer the matter if Arga would ask.
But now what? Arga asks what is not in Gia's way of thinking. And amazingly, the question made Gia want to be able to neutralize her heartbeat so that Arga did not hear that her heart sounds like pounding in there.
"Ga, your question is not included in the deal!" Said Gia in the end in a soft voice.
Arga clucking.
"Ck! you forgot how? I'll answer all your questions and you'll answer all my questions! YOU-A Gia!!!" Arga suppressed his words but remained in a soft voice to answer Gia.
Gia was silent unable to answer. The car turns into the complex where Gia lives.
"It's coming, you really don't want to answer one of my questions?" Arga looked at Gia back. His gaze this time was hopeful.
Gia remained silent.
"Gia, if you don't want to answer that, that's okay. This may be our last meeting. If we meet again after this, suppose we never know each other!" Said Arga when the car had arrived in front of the tiny house written number 58 in accordance with the direction of Gia on Arga earlier.
The Arga's words, again made Gia flabbergasted in disbelief. How could Arga say that. Somehow the feeling of loss slipped in the recesses of Gia.
In the past, he never had Arga, even though Arga is far away but Gia still feels Arga never really lost. However, now when the speech came out of Arga's lips why it felt like Gia wanted to cry.
Arga got out of the car when he saw Gia who remained silent while looking down.
He picked up his phone and, like, called someone, seemed to be asking for an invitation to go home.
Before long, Gia came down and stepped beside Arga who was standing while crossing her arms. His back he rests on the front hood of Gia's car.
"Come on Ga!" Gia said in pleasantries.
"Not to!" answer Arga cuek.
Gia felt guilty not answering Arga's question earlier. He breathed heavily.
"Honestly, I often think of you! Even when Erick was around. But I don't know if it falls into the category of missing you or not!" Finally Gia answered Arga's question and suddenly made Arga distract him from the phone, now he stared fixedly at the woman beside him who was down.
"Gi, that means you miss me Gi!" Arga. His eyes twinkled as if he had found what he was looking for.
Gia looked over as Arga made a sound. He looked at the man beside him who now looked more manly and mature than when they last met a few years ago.
Arga approached, erasing the distance that existed between him and Gia. Slowly his outstretched hand grabbed the woman's cheek in front of him and stroked it with his thumb.
Gia's breathing seemed irregular, he panicked but he could no longer shake the figure who now only stood a few stops in front of his face.
"What can I-" Arga's words came to a halt, as the woman in front of him closed as if to greet him. He could no longer contain the one that had been restrained. The feeling seemed to overflow.
Arga's lips landed on Gia's lips, sipping them slowly and feeling each other as the two intertwined. Arga holds Gia's nape so that the kiss doesn't come off immediately. After a few seconds passed, Gia regained her senses and withdrew, her breathing stinged and she inhaled as much oxygen to get into her lung cavity immediately. It seems he has gone crazy.
Arga smiled obliquely, when he realized that the short kiss was over. He was still looking at the face of Gia who was now down again. Arga stroked Gia's hair at a glance. Then back to keeping your distance.
Silence and awkwardness are re-created. No one makes a sound.
After that, the car that picked up Arga arrived.
"I'm home!" Arga.
"Ga!" Gia pulled Arga's arm and Arga turned his head with a smile.
"It's good, after this we don't have to see you again!" Gia's words broke Arga's hopes after the kiss.
"Gia? Meanin?" Arga doesn't believe Gia's words.
"Yes Ga, as you said earlier, I think we should not have to meet again and do not say hello if met accidentally. Let's just say we never knew each other!"
"But we-"
"You're married! So did I. Forget what happened. It's just camouflage feeling. Please follow my request!"
"Well, if that's what you want!" Arga threw his face and immediately got into the car and told the driver to walk. Left Gia who was still silent with her own thoughts.
Arga massaged his temple remembering the incident he just did to Gia earlier. His feelings have not changed for that woman. Even after this incident, it can be ascertained to be deeper.
"How foolish I am, go far to forget. Now have to rearrange my heart again, repeating from the beginning!" Inner Arga.
