This was the umpteenth time that Gia was feeling nervous near Arga. Especially this time Arga seemed to be earnest with his words. Arga seriously invites Gia to get married and now Arga waits for a reply from Gia's mouth. After yesterday choosing silence and not answering, this time Gia had to give one answer to Arga.

"Ga, I think you should not be rash in this matter." Gia tried to advise Arga, which made Arga frown, astonished by Gia's words.

After less than an hour, Arga's car slowed down and he turned off the engine. Gia was flabbergasted to look around when she realized Arga was taking her to a place she did not expect at all.

"Ancols? Why here?" Gia looks at Arga who starts to open her seatbelt.

"Come on!" Arga goes down the car and despite being confused, Gia follows Arga.

The two of them walked together while feeling the breeze of the beach that began to creep into the pores of the skin this evening.

"Cold?" Arga asked while opening the suit that he still wore on his athletic body, and with a flash the suit had covered the body of Gia who was only wrapped in a blouse that was not too thick. Arga slightly loosened the tie that was seen locking his neck and returned to walk towards a restaurant facing directly to the beach. There are many sunbeds or cabanas whose shape is very unique and instagramable. If only Arga and Gia come in the afternoon before dusk, it can be ascertained if they will see the beautiful sunset view of this place.

Arga sits in one of the cabanas and Gia follows him. The atmosphere here is very romantic for people who come in pairs. But not for Gia and Arga who are still in this unclear relationship. Of course Arga invited Gia here with the aim of clarifying their relationship while clarifying their conversation that had been interrupted earlier.

"Please.." Said a waiter who came over to the two while giving the menu book.

Arga ordered food and drinks, while Gia who was still confused just shook her head at Arga.

"Give me the same food for her, make it two servings." Pinta Arga to the servant and the servant.

"Ga, why are we here?" Gia looked in wonder at Arga.

Arga had gone through a lot of time to look forward to Gia. Let go of his golden years only to expect moments like now to happen. Arga chuckled while holding his stomach, as if Gia's speech was a very funny silliness, whereas Gia seriously said it.

"Why are you laughing, Ga?" Gia held onto Arga's shoulder and shook it slowly.

"You're funny!"

"What's so funny?" Gia came down from her seat and stood before Arga, confronting Arga with a sharp look.

Suddenly Arga who initially chuckled also looked at Gia seriously He cleared his throat for a moment, then their eyes met in a straight line.

"I chose you Gia! I waited for you for years. And you rejected me for such a cliche! Do you think I care if you're a girl or not? Did you forget that the first time I met you I thought you were the wife of another man?" Arga showered Gia with words that drew her to the bottom of her heart.

"Ga..." Gia's voice was getting louder.

"Please don't make excuses to reject me, Gia! Answer according to your heart!" Arga stood up and held onto Gia's shoulders with both hands.

The two of them came to a realization when a waiter came to deliver their food order.

"Eat first, you must not have had dinner." Arga.

Gia complied and they ate in silence. There was only the sound of spoons and forks clashing with plates, as well as the sound of waves pounding that sounded faint to break the silence. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not so crowded because the day is getting late and this is not a weekend.

After finishing with their respective food, Arga reached into his pants pocket and took out a box made of dark blue velvet. He opened the box in front of Gia.

"Anggia, Will you marry me?" Ask Arga. It's not too fast. It's been too long but that doesn't mean it's too late. This is a good time for him and Gia.

Gia gasped, she stared at the nanar of a glittering ring that Arga was facing her. But instead of focusing on the ring, his mind was digesting Arga's speech. Again, this man asked her to marry him. Though Gia has tried to refuse and divert to Arga to think again about this.

"Answer, Gia. I want us to be serious this time!" Arga's voice softened. The corner of his lips curved. Provides dimple effect on his cheek at the same time. Sweet and very sweet, with sparkling eyes as if reluctant to accept rejection.

Gia breathed out slowly. Fetch everything that happened. Take a quick glance to see the view of the waves crashing on the beach.

Gia nodded and at once the ring was pushed by Arga to stick and circle Gia's ring finger. Both of them smiled with happy feelings. Arga grabbed Gia's body and was about to hug her.

"Ga. make sure everything is in order, after that we get married and then hug each other!" Gia stopped Arga's body with her hand. He was afraid that all his mistakes in the past would be repeated with Arga. He had to receive first blessing from both his parents and Erick's late family. Mama Anna, however, is still considered to be her father-in-law.

"For tonight, Gi!" Arga tried to bargain.

"No!" Strictly Gia while stepping towards the beach, leaving Arga still sitting in the cabana.

Sorry yes yesterday-yesterday was abandoned, because I focus on my other novel (if you had to stop by ya there🙏🙏🙏) So to get the feel, this novel must be paused yesterday. Sorry yes..
