LOVE AND SACRIFICE (Love And Sacrifice)

LOVE AND SACRIFICE (Love And Sacrifice)
CHAPTER 14

Thirty minutes passed...

Kaylee looked at the watch in her hand. "Huhh, why hasn't the man been seen yet" Kaylee muttered tired of waiting.

Kaylee was just flipping through a neatly arranged magazine next to her sitting friend. More precisely Gladwyn company magazine and their subsidiaries.

Each page contains a Flint photo. A successful thirty-five year old young entrepreneur expands the business in several areas. His business has grown rapidly over the past few years.

Kaylee, pick up a tea that Nicole served as Flint's secretary a while ago. Nicole said the meeting Flint attended was very important, it could have taken a long time. Nicole also serves snacks in front of Kaylee. But Kaylee had no interest in trying the food, for her it was too sweet.

Time kept turning, if calculated from his arrival was more than an hour he was in Flint's room.

"Would I have seen him later. My time is up for free. It's been an hour I've been waiting, the man hasn't finished the meeting either" Kaylee said as she walked off the couch. He took out his sling bag and slid a long strip over his shoulder.

Kaylee was about to open the door handle, at the same time it was open. Instantly Flint's handsome face was seen in front of the door. Kaylee exchanged glances with the man.

"Where are you going?", asked Flint into his room, apparently he was not alone he was with a man like Flint. The man looked at Kaylee with a fitting.

"Hm.I've been waiting for you for an hour, sir. I was just about to go home, I thought I could see you back tomorrow" Kaylee replied. When the beautiful eyes of the girl were round.

Flint watched Kaylee from his seat of greatness. He and his friend sat down. Kaylee was standing by the door.

"Do you not want to sit down, Miss Kaylaa? What do you want to tell me? Your agency reached out to my assistant", asked Flint to the points. The gray iris of the man could not be separated from Kaylee's figure.

So did Thomas, just keep staring at the beautiful girl with very beautiful eyes.

Kaylee sat in front of Flint, right next to Thomas. Kaylee took the check in her bag and gave it to Flint.

"I paid my debt, like I promised a few days ago".

Flint took the check. Look at the nominal paid Kaylee.

"That's eighty percent. The rest.."

Kaylee did not continue her words, the girl was seen gulping. Flint looked at him while leaning back and rubbing his chin.

"To pay the rest of papa's debt, can I ask for another month. I have to raise money that is not small" said Kaylee slowly.

Thomas supported his face with his hands resting on Flint's desk. He looked at Kaylee. He knew that behind the beautiful eyes of the girl was a deep sadness.

Hearing Flint's words certainly made Kaylee feel relieved. He even spontaneously expressed his gratitude. A happy smile was painted on Kaylee's face.

Flint rubbed his nape at Kaylee's beautiful smile. "Ehem..."

Thomas saw the change of his friend. For him who knew Flint for a very long time, it was impossible for Flint to be soft on anyone. Without exception of any woman. Especially if it is about his business, of course he does not want to lose.

"But I want you to come here every week. Make a report to my assistant Roland. Remember Kaylaa I don't want you to run away, my people know where you work".

Kaylee nodded her head with certainty. "of course. Master don't worry I won't run away" he replied with a laugh.

Again Flint rubbed his nape, staring at Kaylee laughing loosely. The sound of laughter was so crisp in Flint's ears.

"Your sister and your servant can go back to that house, Kaylaa".

Flint's words surprised Kaylaa who was about to move from her seat. Even Flint mentioned Kaylaa's name clearly.

"herry's lawyer will return the keys to your house" Flint said.

"Oh... Thank you, sir. Then excuse me", said Kaylee look excited. The girl extended her hand to shake hands with Flint. A few moments Flint was silent, then just welcomed Kaylee's hand that felt warm and smooth.

Thomas was suspicious to see his friend's behavior.

After Kaylee came out, Thomas looked at his friend. "What are you planning on doing, Flint? I've never seen you like this".

"What's wrong. The girl returned the money her father had borrowed", Flint replied, inserting a check from Kaylaa into his desk drawer.

"You're asking her to come in every week to make a report, isn't that an exaggeration".

"I want to make sure that he means what he promises" Flint replied again as he stood up to the drink table. The man poured the wine into the glass of the sloki and sipped it.

Thomas knew something was hidden from his friend.

"It turns out the girl was very pretty. Even prettier than the photo I saw at Andrew's funeral" Thomas said.

Hearing Thomas' words made Flint clutch firmly the sloki glass in his grasp. "Yes. That girl is very pretty, but it's a pity that she was the traitorous woman that caused Andrew's death.."
