CHAPTER 42

Flint's car, driven by his driver, has not stopped perfectly, but in a hurry Flint got out of the car and stepped into the building, which Roland said was an agency run by Tory.

Some of the people in the lobby immediately looked at Flint who seemed to be in a hurry. They knew who Flint was, because his handsome face often wara-wiri on the pages of leading business magazines. Even some beautiful women who happened to have affairs at the agency immediately noticed the appearance, just fixing the hair and clothes they were wearing.

"Sorry sir, what can I help you with?", asked the young lady who served at the front desk.

Roland walked up to her and said Flint Myron Gladwyn wanted to meet Tory, the owner of the agency. The woman instantly understood and escorted Flint and Roland to the special elevator.

But before the receptionist said that currently Tory is having a meeting on the 3rd floor. Flint ordered Roland to directly press the number three, towards where the Tory was.

When he reached the third floor the two headed straight for a door, Roland was sure that it was a meeting room, visible from several people standing guard at the door.

Flint immediately opened the door handle despite being prevented by some people standing there, Roland explained to them to understand.

Tory and the few people who were having a serious discussion immediately turned their attention to the open door. Everyone there could not believe seeing Flint Myron Gladwyn before them. Of course they know Flint let alone their daily activities engaged in business.

"Mr Flint" said Tory and the person there was shocked to receive the number one visit at Gladwyn holding company.

"I want to talk to you Tory!"

Tory signals everything. "We re-schedule our meeting today" Tory said. Coincidentally a Tory meeting with his own men.

Flint sits cross-legged in front of Tory. "Say who's been working with me all this time? What does it mean, Kaylaa Morgan has passed away? You don't try to lie to me or you I'm suing for manipulating people's data" Flint said straight to the point with threats.

Instantly Tory's face turned deathly pale. Moreover, seeing Flint's face so cold and unfriendly. Of course what Flint said was not a figment.

"I'm sorry, sir, in this case I'm responsible. Kaylee is innocent at all" Tory replied.

"So right he's Kaylaa's twin brother?" muttered Flint.

"Yes sir. Five months ago Kaylaa died in a plane crash while attending Andrew's funeral in Alaska".

Hearing Tory's words, Flint immediately changed his sitting position. The man took Tory's explanation seriously.

Flint massaged his forehead. "Because Kaylaa Morgan betrayed her, my brother Andrew ended up in that accident!", Flint said.

Tory was shocked to hear Flint's words. Flint Andrew's brother. He just found out now.

"Sorry Mr. Flint, it's not like that. That night I watched Andrew suddenly come and angry at Kaylaa, he accused Kaylaa of having an affair with Nick Kay's co-worker. I do not want to defend Kaylaa sir, the girl is very good as her sister Kaylee who you know" said Tory.

Flint rubbed his chin. But the face of the man remained the same. Cold with sharp eyes.

 "Wait a minute maybe by looking at the messages from Andrew to Kay, you'll believe my words".

Tory took her cell phone, opened some of Andrew's messages to Kaylaa that Kaylee had sent her some time ago. Tory gave Flint his phone.

Flint read some of her sister's chats to Kaylaa. Andrew often hurled harsh words and threats at Kaylaa.

 Both of Flint's eyebrows even intertwined while playing one of the videos, Andrew uttered a rant to Kaylaa explaining that she and Nick were mere co-workers nothing more. Kaylaa gives up when Andrew leaves the girl.

Flint breathed out.

"Do you know Kaylee well, Tory? Tell me why he wanted to replace Kaylaa. He even took his brother's name".

"After Kaylaa was pronounced dead, Kaylee came to see me. He asked about his brother's life. Honestly when I saw Kaylee, my heart was so sad to see her. Kaylee said that in one day she lost two people who loved her dearly. Kaylaa and her father died on the same day".

"But I still have to tell Kaylee, that Kaylaa borrowed a lot of company money, while Kaylaa's employment contract is still a lot. That's when the idea came out of me, offering a way out so that Kaylaa's debts could be repaid. It turns out that a few days later your people took over Kaylee's parents' house, which made the poor girl desperate. Wouldn't accept my offer to replace Kaylaa".
