LOVE AND SACRIFICE (Love And Sacrifice)

LOVE AND SACRIFICE (Love And Sacrifice)
CHAPTER 15

Time passed, three weeks later..

There was applause from the team, who had just finished shooting in Manhattan.

Kaylee smiled with satisfaction at the work she and the team did.

A renowned perfume company teamed up with Kaylee to model their latest perfume products.

Since deciding to become a model in place of his brother, many companies have offered to work together through Tory.

If there was a suitable offer for Kaylee, Tory would definitely agree. Kaylee has become an asset to the agency.

Of course Kaylee gladly accepted the job at hand. Moreover, Kaylee is obliged to pay off her father's debt one week ahead on Flint. Kaylee worked hard to collect the money so that the time came when she could pay off all her obligations to Flint.

Since their last meeting, Kaylee has been with Flint twice, but they never met again. Because Flint left all of Morgan's accounts receivable to his assistant Roland.

"Tory. We need to get back to the hotel. I have to fly to Chicago tonight".

"Yes. Let's go home" replied Tory smiling.

It's been three days since Kaylee and Tory were in Manhattan. Kaylee loved her work smoothly until it could be completed as scheduled. After the weekend, she has to attend Claire's birthday in Chicago.

Kaylee promised Claire that she would be at her birthday party. If Kaylee hadn't come, Kaylee's phone wouldn't have stopped ringing. Claire will complain.

Since Kaylee settled in Queen's town, Claire has been keeping Kaylee's flower shop.

*

"Well, we're parting ways here. You be careful yeah. On the plane you should sleep. I know you're still afraid of flying" Tory said, hugging Kaylee.

"Yes Tory. You're also careful on the road" Kaylee replied. "See you on Monday".

Kaylee rushed over, waving her hand at Tory who escorted her to the airport.

*

Kaylee moved to sit by the glass. "Well, this is comfortable. But actually I'd rather sit in economy class because it's crowded in there making me forget about fear. Huh ... Tory's very nice, order me business class. He knows very well, I'm afraid of flying–"

"You're sitting in my chair, miss!"

The baritone voice surprised Kaylee. The girl turned her face with her mouth open staring in disbelief at the handsome man in black glasses standing firmly next to the chair she had been sitting on. "T-uan Flint?", exclaimed Kaylee in shock.

"You're sitting at my place. Are you a stowaway to the point of not knowing where you are, huh?", said Flint.

Kaylee. Seeing Flint annoyed so much Kaylee was lazy let alone to say they exchanged places Flint would not want to. "okay".

Kaylee stood up and let Flint in first sitting in his real place. "Uhh. You grumpy little guy!", Kaylee grumbled as Flint sat down. But the girl's speech clearly sounded Flint who was holding back his laughter while turning his handsome face out the window.

Moments later, the cabin crew announced the plane was about to take off to Chicago.

Flint glimpsed Kaylee who seemed to be incessantly praying. As the plane moved, the girl closed her eyes. While both hands clutching the seat back. All of this did not go unnoticed by Flint.

"Have you never been on a plane?" said Flint, mocking Kaylee, who slowly opened her eyes. Kaylee didn't answer the man's question. He called a flight attendant and asked for mineral water.

"Ckl". Flint shook his head. "Not even five minutes of flying, you're thirsty. The flight was still two hours away", Flint's tease brought his face closer to Kaylee's ears.

"Mineral water can calm me down. I'm paranoid about flying. Moreover, my brother died in a plane crash".

Flint scrunched his forehead. "Your brother?"

Kaylee's eyes were round. He just realized the lack of speech. "I mean my distant brother who died in a plane crash a few years ago" he answered quickly with a smile covering his true face.
