CHAPTER 24
The Tory driver stopped in front of the Gladwyn holding company's lobby. Kaylee got out of the car, immediately stepped into a special elevator.
"Wait!", cried Kaylee to someone who was already in the elevator. "Thank you", he said later.
"Aren't you Kaylaa Morgan?", said the man who held down the elevator door a moment ago to Kaylee.
Kaylee raised her face to look at the man. He remembered the man he had met with Flint several times. Kaylee smiled. "Yes, I'm Kaylaa Morgan sir", he replied.
"A few times we have met. Thomas Axton, friend and business partner of Flint Myron Gladwyn", Thomas said warmly as he reached out his hand. Without a doubt Kaylee welcomed Thomas's hand.
"What floor are you headed for Kaylaa?"
Hearing Thomas's question, Kaylee was puzzled. "Why did I forget to ask Tory" he murmured.
Thomas smiled to see the girl looking confused. "Just tell me who you want to meet?"
"Oh.I would like to attend a meeting with Mr. Flint, Mr. Thomas. I forgot to ask my manager what kind of meeting she had on the floor" Kaylee replied innocently.
"It just so happens that I'm going there too, which means we're going to the same place. Are you the model Flint chose to be the ambassador for his hotel in the Maldives?"
Kaylee nodded her head. "Yes", he answered briefly. Kaylee saw Thomas hit the number thirty.
Elevator moving fast...
"Stop!
The elevator door was open. Thomas invited Kaylee to come out first. "Come, come with me. We go to the meeting room" said Thomas, who was greeted by a nod to Kaylee's head.
Arriving at the door of the meeting room, several directors at Gladwyn company were talking. Looks like the wardrobe team, photographers and Flint employees are there to prepare the equipment needed, one of which is seen is Nicole secretary Flint.
"Good day, Mr. Thomas, Miss Kaylaa", greeted Nicole kindly and let the two sit close together.
Kaylee and Thomas are seen chatting, the two are immediately familiar.
The next minute Tory arrived and immediately sat down beside Kaylee. "Huhh the streets are jammed, I think it's too late" he lamented.
"Tory. Introduce this Mr. Thomas Axton friend and co-worker Mr. Flint", Kaylee said introducing Thomas to Tory.
"Yes well, of course I know you as the master of luxury hotels and malls scattered everywhere" cried Tory as she reached out her hand.
"Well.you're too much Tory. Call Thomas alone", the man replied kindly as he narrowed his eyes. "Did I look so old that you called me formal like that, ladies?", exclaimed Thomas in a last laugh at Kaylee and Tory.
Without the three realizing Flint was already in the room, when entering the meeting room his eyes immediately caught the figure of Kaylee laughing loosely sitting next to Thomas. Flint's face was caught looking at the sight. "Since when are they so familiar" the man asked himself.
Flint did not come alone, but he arrived with a beautiful woman with shoulder-length hair and a gray bead.
Kaylee looked at the beautiful woman. "Is he Mr. Flint's lover? They're a matching couple...
