CHAPTER 39

Kaylee stared at the skyscraper that stood looming before her. GHC. Both netra Kaylee stared at the writing.

For a moment the girl was silent lowered her head, then continued her footsteps entering the lobby of one of the giant companies in the city.

Kalyee headed straight for the special elevator. This time Kaylee deliberately looked like herself. Long jeans and white T-shirts. The girl tied her hair. Kaylee looks fresher and younger with a thin makeup polish.

"Stop!

The elevator stopped at the empaiy-fifth floor where Flint's room was located. Kaylee immediately approached Nicole who was seriously working in front of the laptop.

"Nicole, is your boss in the room?" asked Kaylee. His presence surprised Nicole.

"Hello miss Kaylaa", Nicole replied with a friendly smile. "Mr Flint is in his room but is receiving guests" Nicole replied.

"All right, I'll just wait here. Is it okay Nicole?", asked Kaylee while looking at the chair in front of Nicole's desk.

"Yes, of course you can. Please Miss Kaylaa", he replied politely. Let Kaylee sit down.

Time continued to roll for two more hours Kaylee waited, Flint's guests have not yet come out.

Even now it's been almost three hours Kaylee waited still no sign of Flint and his guests finished meeting in there.

"Miss Kaylaa, it's okay for me to stay a while. I had to hand over this file to the HRD division" Nicole said, hugging the pile of files to her chest.

"Oh, it's okay Nicole just get on with your work" Kaylee replied.

After Nicole left, Kaylee stood up to Flint's room. No sound from inside there. Kaylee just stood in front of the big door.

"What if I just go in? I have to catch my plane at four in the afternoon" Kaylee said slowly as she looked at the numbers on her watch. The girl was about to hold the door handle, but she hesitated to do so.

"It's up to what happens. I've come all the way here, I need to finish it right now!"

"Simplek..

The two were staring at the Macbook screen on Flint's desk. Flint sat in his chair while Leah stood while bowing her body beside Flint. Both are so close.

When the door opened Kaylee suddenly, the two stared at Kaylee who was silent behind the door.

"I'm sorry to bother you guys, but there's something I need to talk to you about, sir" Kaylee said, trying her hardest.

"Tell me what you want to say to Flint, Kaylaa!", ketus Leah stood firmly beside Flint.

Kaylee looked doubtful, looking at Flint leaning his back on the seat of his greatness. Flint noticed Kaylee who looked different in his eyes. Three days he didn't see Kaylee. From the look in the girl's eyes, Flint could see the sadness there. Unlike usual the eyes are always sparkling beautifully, this time it looks sad.

"You're out of my room, Leah! There are important things I want to talk to Kaylaa Morgan about" Flint said.

"But, Flint. We're not done choosing these photos, which one you should choose", Leah replied while pointing at the Macbook screen on the table.

"Tomorrow we will discuss again. Go now!"

Leah could not dispute Flint's orders, she knew what the man was like if he had already decided. Leah brought her stuff. Arriving near Kaylee he cursed. "You're just bothering me!"

Kaylee did not bother him. The two netizens were more interested in seeing the photo on a small table beside Flint's desk. He did not blink looking at the photo. Kaylee just saw it now. Several times he came to see Flint, never saw the photo. Looks like it's just on display on that table.

"Why did you shut up Kaylaa Morgan saw that photo? Do you know my brother Andrew whom you killed indirectly?!", asked Flint staring at Kaylee in a daze.

"Do you know, my sister died in an accident she was in because of the betrayal you committed!"

"You're the killer of Kaylaa Morgan!". I'm satisfied to avenge Andrew's death on you!
